The hotel manager was very helpful. He arranged to pick us up in a car close to the parking lot before our arrival. Our room was modern, clean and beautiful. The view from our balcony was breathtaking! You could spend all day at the hotel admiring the terraces from the hotel roof, restaurant or your room. The hotel manager arranged a driver to drive us back to the station. I would recommend the hotel to friends and family. We would stay again.

The parking lot is quite far from the accommodation, but fortunately the store provides luggage porter service. The scenery is indeed nothing to say, it’s superb. A glass side of the room faces the terraces, making it a great place to watch the sunrise. The quilt in the room is so comfortable, the mattress is so comfortable, and the benches, stools, and clothes racks are all decorated in a bourgeois way. The disadvantage is that the bathroom in the room has no door, and the sanitary corner is not clean enough.

There is nothing to say about the service of the inn. The service starts before check-in. The butler informs you in advance of some things that need attention. The location of the inn is the best in the entire village. There are rice fields in the near view, woods in the middle view and terraced fields in the distance. The scenery is excellent. You can enjoy the beautiful scenery of forests and mountains from anywhere in the room or lobby. My companions stayed so comfortable that they didn't want to leave. The girl at the front desk was very nice. She took the initiative to help us carry our boxes when we arrived. We were all embarrassed to carry two small boxes per person. The little girl helped us enthusiastically and thoughtfully if we needed anything. We really want to thank you! The mountain food on the nearby road is also delicious. The bed is just a bit soft for me personally. All in all satisfied.

A good hotel, though tired-looking but still in good condition - good value for its price range but breakfast was a very simple spread. Electric blanket and hot shower were positives! Plenty of mini buses or MPVs 50m down the road junction for onward connections to Yuanyang rice terraces (upcountry) or Nansha (downhill) for easy transfer to Jianshui, Kunming etc.

This was a really unexpected find in the villages around the Yuanyang rice terraces. The building itself is really beautiful and directing overlooks the terraces. The room was surprisingly large and the floor to ceiling window offers a great view(weather permitting). The bed was super comfortable and shower hot and powerful. The best part was the sister who works here; she couldn’t have been more helpful, even walking us to the nearby village to find a place to eat. She is enthusiastic and very knowledgeable about the area. The only downside(and I know it’s a bit of a sensitive issue) is the lack of air conditioning in the room. Even at the end of June it isn’t hot around Yuanyang, but it is very humid and air conditioning could definitely help with the latter. That being said, I slept well with the window open and would definitely recommend and stay here again.

The B&B has a dedicated parking lot, which is a few hundred meters away from the B&B. There are steps and stone paths, and it is a test of physical strength to carry a lot of things. The B&B sister will help the guests carry their luggage. To be honest, it is hard to bear it. Fortunately, we don’t have suitcases and can basically solve it by ourselves. The B&B is located next to the terraced fields, with a good view, comfortable facilities, good hygiene, and good sound insulation and heat preservation of the balcony doors and windows. The only problem is that the room door is not soundproof. When a wave of ******* guests are unscrupulous, they continue to make loud noises upstairs and downstairs for several hours at night, affecting rest. You can eat in the B&B, which is very convenient. It is not easy to open a B&B in the mountains to be hygienic and comfortable, and there are several local Hani aunts and sisters employed. Full marks!

Jacky's is the place for me as someone who has very limited understanding of Chinese. Moreover, many of the older villagers can't speak Chinese anyway. Jacky is a native of this place. I chose a very basic room which was sufficient for my needs. He was most helpful with information on photography, himself being a photographer and Hani culture. He arranged arrival and departure for me and helped with luggage. Please be aware that you will be in a very rural and once remote part of the country, so don't expect luxurious surroundings. If you are squirmish about mud, dirt and animal droppings, well, get used to it and enjoy one of the wonders of human effort and creation. If you are a photographer, do yourself a favour and also get a drone. Incomparable and endless views of rice terraces. And yes, Duoduo their dog can take you for a walk down to the terraces.

Give Norma Ami Tea Manor a five-star praise! [Strong][Strong][Strong] Manager Tao really didn't lie to us. We can see the sea of clouds, sunrise and sunset on our own tea mountain. It's so beautiful! There are only 13 guest rooms in the 20-acre tea garden. How can it be described in one word! The exterior and interior of the building are very design-oriented and have personality. People who like quiet, empty and tea drinking will like it!

She will drive a small tram to the parking lot to pick up and drop off luggage. On the way to the B&B, you will pass through the entire village. The people are less simple than Azheke. You can watch the little ducks crossing the river on the country road. . The most amazing thing is that the location of the B&B is simply perfect! ! Sitting on the entire terraced field, the room has seamless floor-to-ceiling windows, and the interior is modern and simple, with tea sets, straw hats, straw baskets and various props. You can also take photos in Hani clothes for free. The food in the restaurant is delicious, and you can eat a whole bowl of red rice! What Duoyishu looks at is the overall grandeur, then here is a secret adventure where you can go directly to the ridge of the fields. In the evening, the housekeeper will take us on foot to the observation deck of the village to watch the sunset. The sparkling waves can be seen. We can book the entire private treasure spot at the sunset by ourselves. We don’t have to compete with anyone for a seat. This is simply the highlight of our trip to Yuanyang Rice Terraces! You can also watch the stars on the terrace in the evening, the sea of clouds in the morning, make tea around the stove in the afternoon, weave Hani auspicious hand ropes, copy sutras in a daze, and drink tea under the trees. GGuest UserIt was already 9 o'clock when we arrived that day. I contacted the hotel in advance to prepare dinner. This meal will be remembered for a long time. It was super delicious and paired with the hotel's own wine, which was perfect. I chose rice noodles for breakfast. The more I ate, the better it tasted. If my stomach wasn’t so full, I could have finished the soup.
Because I arrived late in the day, the mountain road was a bit difficult to walk. I kept going around and around, but it was worth it to see the beautiful scenery. I saw a review before saying that the hotel room is far away from the lobby. I think it is acceptable to go down a few slopes. It is also good to watch cows playing with chickens.
There are some details in the hotel that need to be paid attention to. The power switch in the room where the children lived was not repaired, which was a bit deducted.

The room is spacious, bright, clean and comfortable. The lady at the front desk also upgraded me to a loft for a better view of the terraced fields. The downside is that there are too few sockets in the living room of this room type and I can't find a socket to boil water. Because the room has a very high ceiling and a loud echo, the voices and music from the next door are very clear, but I can feel that they are very attentive. After all, it is not easy to run a B&B in the mountains. The B&B has a restaurant with reasonable prices and delicious food. You can also wear Hani and Yi costumes for free to take pictures. There are also local specialties such as red yeast rice and terraced field black tea for sale.

The breakfast rice noodles were great and worth trying. The only drawback was that there were very few vegetables, no salad, one cooked dish, a lot of carbon water, and the red rice porridge was well cooked. I booked a balcony room. Breakfast is also very local red rice noodles, which tastes good!
Dissatisfied: The service is slightly lacking, such as check-in reception and room arrangement differences, but it was resolved after communication.
Also, the floor-to-ceiling glass windows were too dirty and I couldn't see the outside scenery clearly.

GGuest UserIt was an unexpected surprise. I came to Azheke and stayed at this inn. It was great. The room has a great terrace view. The room is large, quiet, and you can watch the sunset. Not only can you see the terraces directly from the room, but the inn also has a terrace. The boss is enthusiastic and his cooking skills are excellent. I didn’t want to go out for a walk, so I ate directly at the inn and ate the local rice field fish. It was so delicious! There were also flowers planted in the inn’s yard. In your free time, go to Azheke Village for a walk. Don’t be too comfortable!
