We drove to Yuanyang this time and saw this Shengtian on the Internet. Because it was not the peak season, we decided to check out the room before deciding whether to stay. The front desk lady took us to see the room very enthusiastically. There are three buildings in total, with different room types and a wide view. We booked it immediately. The hotel has a designated parking lot and shuttle bus. The hotel needs to take a shuttle bus to get there.
The room is spacious and tidy. The king-size bed room has a two-meter bed. The bedding is good and clean. Because the temperature difference between morning and evening is large, the quilt is also thick. The hair dryer is equipped with Lefen, which is very good. The bathroom is TOTO, the water is huge, hot and comfortable. The projection uses Dangbei, Fresnel hard screen cloth, and the hardware facilities are very good.
We live in a room with a balcony. The balcony looks out to the terraced fields. As long as the weather is good, it is not a dream to realize the beautiful scenery of the terraced fields. You can also see the local residents working from sunrise to sunset, which is really very comfortable.

Our stay at the hotel was incredible!
The hotel and room are beautiful, with lovely designs and high-quality products and accessories. The bed and armchairs in the room are very comfortable. The shower and footbath were perfect after long days of hiking. The view of the rice fields is always beautiful, making it very peaceful and relaxing.
The Chinese and Western breakfasts are delicious and plentiful, allowing us to wait until dinner in the evening.
The hotel also offers a restaurant for dinner: the dishes are very varied, traditional, and, above all, always delicious.
Finally, the staff was excellent throughout our stay! Helpful, lovely, and very accommodating (they served us breakfast earlier and helped us with our bags to book a minibus for our departure). We only stayed three days, and we would have liked to have stayed longer. A little paradise. Thank you to the entire team!

A very good resort hotel. Quiet, clean, good air and good service. The sun was shining brightly in the afternoon. We followed the detailed route introduced by the front desk girl. We set out after 4 o'clock to visit Azheke Village first, and then returned to Bada to watch the sunset. It was already 8 o'clock when we returned to the hotel. We had a normal meal in the hotel restaurant (the front desk said when we checked in that we should come back to eat before 8 o'clock, otherwise the chef would be off work). The breakfast was a set meal, which was also very good, and the coffee was delicious. The next day we went to Laohutan and Duoyishu.

If you enjoy traveling off the beaten track and enjoy some peace and quiet in the mountains then this could be the hotel for you. Location is approximately a 4 hour drive from Kunming with the last 40km winding up the mountain. Hotel is located 350m down a path from the car park (contact the hotel staff and they will meet you at the car park to help with your baggage). Staff very friendly and helpful, all our requests were meet with ease. Stay here to easily visit Azheke Village (at time of review undergoing extensive renovation). We visited in at the start of August, despite rainy weather most of our stay we still managed to capture some good views down the valley.

The room is really well designed, with two large floor-to-ceiling windows. The room is also very large, and you can see a forest. However, the functionality and hygiene are not very good. The sink is too shallow and water will spill on the floor. The sheets make our skin itchy when we sleep on them. , I don’t know if it’s a bug or something.
There is also the geographical location. It is a few kilometers away from Duoyishu, the sunrise point. You have to drive there. There is only one restaurant within walking distance, which is expensive and not delicious. There is a paid fish pond next to it for fishing. There is no parking lot, so you can only park on the side of the road. It may be difficult to park if there are many cars.

I arrived at the terraced fields at the end of the irrigation season. I was shocked when I saw the terraced fields for the first time. Although I didn't encounter the most beautiful sunrise and sunset, I also encountered clouds and moonlight. I stayed at Duoyishu Banshan for three days in the scenic area. The hotel's environment, location, and service made people feel at ease. Xiaobai at the front desk was a warm and responsible girl, and basically met all the requirements. The white fungus soup and fruits delivered to the room every afternoon were soft, glutinous and fresh. The breakfast may have cancelled the buffet because it was the off-season, but it was also reasonably matched and full. I had several meals in the restaurant. Generally speaking, the taste was quite satisfactory and smooth. The Hani Terraces Scenic Area is very large, and the distance between individual attractions is not close. In terms of comprehensive location, accommodation conditions, landscape, transportation and accommodation experience, Duoyishu Banshan must be the best choice.

I would say everything was great except the room.
Location -- this is the main reason I choose the place. The rice terrace is in front of your room. Superb. There is rooftop to see sunrise too However, the place is not accessible for car. You need to park your car at car park around 300m from the hotel, call the hotel to pick up your luggage and you walk to the hotel by foot. It's not suitable for people with walking difficulties.
Service'-- toiletries are generous. Breakfast is great with various options. Rooms are cleaned daily with new top up of toiletries and slippers. We can do laundry too. Detergent are provided.
Why I give amenities 2 stars only? It's because I meed somewhere to give feedback on the room. I stayed for 3 nights at 2nd floor. There are 3 rooms of the same kind. However, my room has weird design. While the other two have perfect squarie room and spacious, our room, at thr most corner is smaller with bad design. There are wall built to cut off a space around 2x3 m. See pictures. It”s hard to put our luggage. There is sofa without tables. I suspect no space to add a table as it will block to walk way, not so confortable.

The location is great. It only takes 5 minutes to drive from the entrance of the scenic spot. After two days of visiting various scenic spots, I found that it is convenient to get there. It is also the middle point of the hiking route from Jingkou Village to Bada Village.
Located in a traditional Hani village, there are sacrificial halls, village gates, and many mushroom houses. The village still retains the traditional production and lifestyle. Elders and cows are the most common. Chickens and ducks are running around. Everywhere you walk, there are mushrooms. You can take photos and check in, giving you a strong rural feel.
The hotel's hygiene is commendable because it is newly opened and all facilities and equipment are relatively new. The bathroom is TOTO and the sheets and quilts are very good to the touch. I read online reviews that the fog here is very heavy and I am afraid of humidity, but there is no smell at all in the room. No, the next day I saw that the cleaning staff were still using disinfecting lights in every room.
The restaurant is on the edge of a terraced field 100 meters away. Sitting by the window is a picture. The dishes are more local, delicious and not expensive. The ingredients are fresh. There is a shelf full of brewed wine. We all tasted it. Very tasty.

Our room included Tickets to 3 of the main terraces with breakfast. I think this is enough to enjoy your stay in Yuanyang. We also walked to one of the smaller terraces right behind the hotel. It leads to a small Hani village. We did find their restaurant a bit expensive so we walked down the street to restaurants that are a little more affordable.

GGuest UserIt was already half past three when we arrived. We were hungry. The landlady asked us if we had eaten. It happened to be the Dragon Sacrifice Festival of the local Hani people. I didn’t expect to have a sumptuous and delicious local banquet. It was such a surprise. .
The landlady was very talkative, haha, and she told us this and that with great enthusiasm, which made us feel at home😆😆.
We were going to watch the sunset in the evening of the day we went there. By coincidence, as soon as we arrived at the observation deck and took two photos, a heavy fog swept up within two minutes. We couldn't see anything. It was still foggy until we left the next day. It’s not gone, Wei Wei feels a little regretful. But this experience here is really great. I will definitely come back next time!
As for the other facilities of the B&B, I have no faults. The hygiene and bed comfort are both very good!

BBrownThis was my third trip to Yuanyang rice terraces to watch the harvest, that I am fascinated by, during harvest season My previous trips I stayed at OneNess Resort (1/2 mile from Cloud). Both are great. Oneness is newer but Clouds has a vintage personality that is hard to beat. When I arrived, I was disappointed that there was no regular chains or small desk or table to sit at to work on computer and organize the daily videos that I captured. I just mentioned this to the manager and I went out to explore the area. When I returned, he had brought a table and chair to my room and placed them on the rooms terrace. The people here are so friendly and I personally take service and friendliness of the staff at the top of my list, Two of the young girls (sorry for the phrasing but I man 78 and we always used to use that terms as a compliment) tracked me down to invent me to come to the reception area and they would make me coffee. I was heading out so they quickly went back to the main reception and then returned to give me several “brew in you room” coffee pods. Fabulous location, fabulous people.. I’ll be back - God willing.

GGuest UserThe location of the hotel is great. The sunny rooms are quiet, bright, spacious and dry. There is parking and the view is great. Walk left for five minutes to the Duoyishu Viewing Platform, go down the stairs and turn right for 100 meters to reach the village and terraced fields. There is a Hani fire pit next to it and the Hani cuisine is delicious. What’s even better is that the hotel provided Hani costumes for our travel photography for free. During the three-day and two-night trip, we changed clothes every day and went out to take photos all day long. We had a great time at Doi Tree with its beautiful scenery, delicious food and great accommodation.

The hardware is so-so, the window in the room is broken, the cable TV line is connected through the window, and the window cannot be completely closed. Those are fine, but the service is totally non-existent. There were two girls at the front desk. One spoke like a kitten and was unsure about anything she asked. The other spoke casually when asked if there was anything to eat in the evening and said we could just come down and order. But when we came down to order, she told us to go to the kitchen to ask what was available. When we went to the kitchen, they said there was no food, but there were clearly several plates of freshly made dishes on the table. There are souvenirs on the order page, but they were not given to me when I left. I was too lazy to ask. In short, there is no management. If you care about your travel experience, please be careful.
