The host Chris made us felt very welcomed with his selfless travel tips, scrumptious breakfasts, handwritten messages and exquisitely furnished accommodation. He even went the extra mile to review our itinerary for a better route or arrangement! He's highly responsive to our questions when we were outside, including helping us to arrange rides. There are also intimate small devices in the homestay, such as hot water in the room, and help to send postcards!

The environment is comfortable and the prices are reasonable. The breakfast is good. It's located near the railway and faces a rice paddy. Watching the trains is quite interesting, but it might not be suitable for those with sound sensitivity. I saw that the B&B also has campervan accommodations, and I'd like to try it next time I get a chance.

The location was very peaceful and not too far from the Main Street of Jiaoxi. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and there was a very nice live music performance in the evening. The pool area was nice, and the hot spring private areas were sufficient. The breakfast and dinner buffet I would say is one of the best in Jiaoxi in terms of the Spa hotels and the rooms were well sound insulated. We would definitely come again and my infant certainly enjoyed it. One of the more expensive hot spring hotels in Jiaoxi but if you want a quiet and peaceful few days with activities, good food and with easy access to the mountains for a nice walk I would recommend this place. Minor criticism for the rooms I would say is the cleanliness. There were slight dust in places and because there is carpet, and if you’re prone to dust allergy be prepared. Saying that if they have a room without carpet that would be perfect, but nonetheless, we would definitely come again.

The hotel staff were all very polite! They would proactively greet guests, and their attitudes were consistently good and courteous. The room was spacious, and the bed was large with just the right firmness, paired with fluffy pillows for a very comfortable sleep. The welcome snacks were generous and thoughtful! All facilities were clean and tidy. The breakfast selection was incredibly diverse, almost like a lunch buffet! I would definitely visit this hotel again. It was a wonderful relaxing experience 😊

The boss and his wife are very enthusiastic and carefully decorated the homestay. The environment is elegant and there are quite a lot of plants planted. The breakfast is rich and delicious. There is a friendly cat, which is very nice. It is worth coming again.

The location is fantastic, quiet, and surrounded by a variety of restaurants. The guesthouse boasts a clean courtyard with birdsong and fragrant flowers, where you can walk barefoot on the grass. The vegetable garden offers a wide variety of fruit trees. The indoor lobby is bright and features a rich selection of rare and exotic fruits. The rooms are spacious with clean floors and bright windows. The small balcony in the room is perfect for small gatherings. The bathroom has a separate shower and toilet and is of a suitable size. Breakfast uses local and homegrown ingredients, and the delicious breakfast dishes highlight the owner's dedication. Upon check-out, you'll receive a natural cypress sachet, leaving a pleasant fragrance on your return journey.

Yu Peng Villa was our first and BEST accommodation on this Yilan-Taroko-SML-Alishan road trip. We arrived much later than expected and were relieved that our message to Trip.com got through to the guesthouse. When we drove up to the place (an easy find with GPS), a member of the staff walked up to our car and guided us to the drop off point. I love the designer vibes of the property which is well maintained with a sizeable garden and plenty of flowers in bloom. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. The showers worked and there was hot water. The western-style breakfast was generous in portion and delicious. Best of all was the hospitality extended to us. It was the only place where we felt truly welcomed on this 8-day trip. The staff here chatted with us, gave advice on places of interest and sent us off with fruit from the orchard. After the great experience here, all the other places we stayed at pale drastically in comparison. If you're planning to visit the Kavalan Distillery, this place is a great stayover option! Truly a slice of paradise.

This hotel is the hotel we stayed in for the second part of our first trip to Yilan. The overall facilities of the hotel are quite good, so that guests can experience many activities. The layout of the rooms is also very comfortable. The environment and scenery are refreshing! 

Very beautiful homestay room is clean and comfortable, the staff is attentive and kind. The air is fresh and surrounded by mountains and rivers. Although the equipment is old, it has everything. I will stay again next time.
