"This guesthouse is very near Labrang Monastery, within 5 mins walking. It stands in a small street next to the Xia river. There're many restaurants around, both western and local food. The hosts were very friendly and kind. Our room was on the second floor and they helped us to lift our luggage upstairs. Downstairs is a restaurant you can enjoy easy meal and good coffee/tea. The decoration is nice. The house is bright and the air flow is great. There're spots both upstairs and downstairs to sit to relax. And if you add their WeChat they would answer every question quickly. The bus station is around 1.5 km away. You can walk easily there and with taxi it costs only 2 yuan per person."

"We were so lucky to have chosen this wonderful B&B! It's an authentic ******* B&B, and the owner was incredibly hospitable. We were so touched by their attentive service that we even invited them to camp in their home! The owner is a Thangka artist, and even taught children about Thangka art in the mornings! This B&B is a real thumbs-up, and I highly recommend it to everyone!"

GGuest UserWe drove to Gannan and stayed here on the first night. The environment was nice. We went there late, and the boss left someone there to wait for us. I had a headache and nausea early the next morning, and my blood oxygen was only 80. I saw online that it might be altitude sickness. I wanted to ask the boss's wife for two bottles of oxygen to see if it could relieve it. Unexpectedly, the boss's wife was very considerate. While comforting us, she arranged for the staff to take us to the hospital for examination. It was very heartwarming when we were away from home. Thank you to the boss's wife and the ******* brother who took us to the hospital.

GGuest UserThe guesthouse is super close to Labrang Monastery, within walking distance. The room was clean and tidy, the bed was soft, and the lighting was great, making for a very comfortable stay. The owners were very thoughtful; they even provided oxygen cylinders, so there was absolutely no need to worry about altitude sickness. Overall, a fantastic experience, and I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Xiahe! 👏👏

When the weather is good, the wooden house is really a fairy tale while taking advantage of the blue sky and white clouds! The stream is passing by, and the children can play by the river for a long time with water shoes. The hillside on the back is worth climbing up. There is a purple wild flower, so beautiful!
Hardware: relatively new and clean, with air conditioning, electric blankets and separate bathrooms. It is complete in the grassland, but the air conditioning compressor is a bit noisy in the middle of the night!
Service: Tibetan waiters are very enthusiastic and will take the initiative to help carry luggage!
The attic room is more novel. Children like it, but the space is much narrower than the parent-child room! If it weren't for the high anti-sleep, this stay experience would be more perfect ～

GGuest UserBefore heading to Sanko Grassland, among many B&Bs and hotels, this one caught my eye. The photos looked great, and the rooms appeared modern and comfortable. Upon arrival, I found it was even better than expected – no fake advertising here! We initially had trouble finding the location, but the owner patiently guided us. As soon as we got out of the car, friendly bellhop staff were waiting for us in the parking lot, offering us Hada scarves and helping with our luggage. They were super enthusiastic and patiently explained everything as they showed us to our room. The next day, when we were checking out, the same bellhop saw us from afar, stopped what he was doing, and immediately rushed over to help us with our luggage to the car. We truly felt the warmth and hospitality of the locals! Zhoima, our butler, also provided very meticulous service. The owner might not say much, but he's incredibly thoughtful – whether it was the room arrangement or the breakfast, everything was excellent! And the views from the room? Absolutely stunning! Highly recommend!! We found the most beautiful scenery and the kindest people of our entire trip here!

Location and Natural Beauty
The hotel is nestled on the edge of the Sangke Grassland, offering vast grassland scenery as soon as you step out the door. On our check-in day, the welcoming owner offered to take us for a walk by a nearby stream. Verdant grass lay beneath our feet, dotted with wildflowers, the stream gurgled, and in the distance, cattle and sheep strolled leisurely. It felt like stepping into an untouched natural landscape. This immersive experience, detached from the hustle and bustle of life, was one of the greatest surprises of the trip.
Service is in the Details
What touched us most was the owner's thoughtfulness. Due to our tight schedule the next day, we planned to depart at 7:30 AM. We had planned to skip breakfast, but the owner specifically inquired about our departure time the night before and prepared a hot breakfast the next morning. Bread, milk tea, and side dishes...the simple fare held the most simple warmth, making us feel like family on a cool morning. This selfless enthusiasm far exceeds expectations of ”hotel service.”

TTaffyVery very good. Very warm with floor heating. Quiet. Beautiful cabin. Very beautiful scenery. The owner is very nice. Helped with luggage and delivered it to the room. Although the breakfast is simple, the side dishes are delicious. The breakfast is picturesque. Although there was no bonfire party on the day we stayed, the owner enthusiastically told us which direction to watch the sunrise. The family room is very large. It has two bedrooms and one living room. It is spacious for three adults and one child.

AAnonymous UserWe stayed three nights at Nirvana Resort in early July and loved our time there. Spectacular location, the grasslands are alive with flowers and birds, and everyone at Nirvana was kind and helpful. We had our own car (ideal if possible) and alongside visiting Labrang Monastery and walking in the nearby hills, we also enjoyed driving around the backroads into Qinghai and immersing ourselves in the landscape. At the end of each day it was perfect to climb the hill to the Sky Bar and drink a beer while watching the land grow dark.

GGuest UserIncredible stay at the Xicheng Inn. The hotel is very cozy with fascinating decor. I loved spending time in the third-floor library, filled with cultural artifacts, games, and books – you'll never get bored! The hospitality from the hotel staff is also unmatched. I stayed alone but never felt lonely. They take guests on walks around the city to discover ******* culture. I recommend staying here not only for the comfort of the hotel but also for the wonderfully warm atmosphere.

WWuhouhongcha1668The rooms are well equipped and the room service and restaurant service are satisfactory. Two problems: First, the room temperature was too high, about 30 degrees, and there was no temperature control. I reported this to the hotel, and they said that the heating temperature in Xiahe is always that high and the hotel cannot control it. We opened the windows and drew the curtains, but didn't dare turn on the lights because there was a hotel across the street. We couldn't fall asleep in bed at all. It felt like we were in a scorching hot room with no ventilation or air conditioning. It was minus 14 degrees outside, but it was suffocatingly hot inside! We, an elder who was almost 70 years old, had to travel the next day, so we didn't sleep the whole night and just endured the scorching heat.
