PepibelleThis is an amazing place to stay for all traveler types. You can travel here solo or with family/friends. Upon arrival, I was checked into my room. Jimmy (the owner) gave a warm welcome along with a gift. The room was comfortable and clean. It even had a balcony where you can sit and overlook the whole city. Jimmy and his staff are very kind. They provided excellent service, and the breakfast was tasty and nutritious. The city doesn’t have the best transportation, but Jimmy was kind enough to drive me into the city and pick me up whenever I was finished. When I checked out, I was given a box of tea—a wonderful gift for the upcoming Chinese New Year. All in all, I would rate this place a 12/10. It’s not only a place to stay, but it made me feel right at home. The plus side is the cute dog, Ao Hua. She is friendly and playful.

Anonymous UserThe staff are very nice and helpful. They help me with the luggage and booking the whale watching tour. The room is just like the photo, clean and spacious. The scenery is excellent too and you can hear the birdsong and the sound of waves, which is great for you to enjoy the nature. I also booked the dinner there which is delicious too.
It is just slightly hard to find the path to drive into the car park as the path is narrow and the stand is not that noticeable.

The location of the homestay is close to Tailuge, the environment is beautiful and comfortable, and the bed is big enough for a family of three to sleep. The proprietress was very friendly and introduced the current situation of Tailuge, so she only went to the visitor center in the end. I also heard the proprietress share her experience during the earthquake. I am grateful that the homestay is very safe here. I will come back next time. ~

The environment in the manor is very good, with green grass, swaying trees, streams and fish ponds, and a row of tent rooms in the distance. During the day, lying on the lawn with the blue sky and white clouds reflecting each other can make people forget the hustle and bustle of the world and feel refreshed. There is no light pollution at night, and you can see the bright stars of the Milky Way. It happens to be a full moon night, it feels like being on earth!
The guest rooms in the main building are spacious, clean and sanitary. The water is pure natural hot spring water with excellent water quality. After soaking, your skin feels very smooth and comfortable.
The manor is about an 8-minute drive from Ruisui Station. Around 9 pm, almost all the surrounding restaurants close, making it most convenient for self-driving tourists.
For breakfast, you can choose between Chinese and Western set meals, with juice, coffee, and milk tea available, and the portions are definitely sufficient.
It would be perfect if the employees could add a little more initiative and enthusiasm. so cool!
An ideal place to recharge your batteries for a short getaway, will definitely come back.

The main reason for wanting to experience a ”capsule” hotel was to check it out. My elementary school kids loved it, running around in the bunk beds. The single beds were actually quite large and very new. The room was well-planned and detailed; each room had its own charging port, a small light, a cabinet, and even toiletries! The shared bathroom was very clean. The kitchen was accessible on the first floor, so we went to Qixingtan to buy fish to fry at night – it was fantastic! If you arrive at the hotel early, you can ride bicycles and walk to the beach, where there's a heated swimming pool! In the morning, we played cards in the common area on the first floor while listening to music. 👍

Display Name 顯示名稱For girls, if you have a large suitcase, you need to request a room on the ground floor. Otherwise, it is too hard to walk up 20 or 30 stairs with a heavy suitcase. The rooms have different themed decorations, with a bathtub and a large dressing table. It is nice to stay for a few days.

notrevePositives:
- like all lakeshore hotels in Taiwan, fantastic breakfast spread, especially incorporating local hualien food like gongzheng baos etc…
- sauna with a sea view.. what else to ask for
- children playroom
- comfy rooms and excellent service all round by all staff
- bath tub near the window where you can soak and see the sea
- coin operated laundry room with washers and dryers (affordable plus only two each.. so may have to wait)
- small snacks and beverages provided for guests daily on the ground floor
Negatives:
- only really gripes is the location.. about 2 km away from the city centre so not much to do in the neighbourhood
- sea view room is actually the view of the port and a distance away… technically hotel is not wrong.. but should lower your own expectations

Beijing MattI really liked this hotel and the friendly staff. The rooms overlook the sea and are modern, with nice big shower rooms. The local area doesn’t have many restaurants, but it was nice to be so close to the beach. Would definitely stay again.

The room was incredible. Very Modern, large, beautifully designed and furnished. Bed very comfortable. Medium softness.
Bathroom luxurious.
Had a table and corner seating area in the room. Large windows with incredible views of the harbour.
The main foyer is beautiful. You really feel like a resort hotel.
Location right in the heart of the city. Only 10 in taxi from train station.
Breakfast great option, many options.
The staff are very friendly, attentive, helpful. They booked a last minute private driver CJ Chen for a 5 hour tour into the gorge. Good English and knowledgeable.
This is the nicest hotel we have stayed in while in Taiwan.

The location is convenient and close to the city. The exterior is beautiful and the garden makes people feel relaxed. However, the parking lot is too far from the hotel building.
The beds are comfortable and the TV equipment is new.
