"We stayed here for 2 nights and this was a lovely hotel. We enjoyed the queen bed, view out to the beautiful hotel grounds, breakfast and newly renovated bathrooms. You can also rent a bike for 2 hours for NTD100, which we did to cycle to the beach. There is also a free shuttle to the train station and back. We also enjoyed the hotel restaurant. There were lots of other amenities which didn't get a chance to try. Bear in mind that you'll need a taxi to get into Hualien town which is a ten minute drive and around NTD150-180 one way. There is no Uber in Hualien."

The breakfast was even better than I expected – it tasted like it came from a really good, not-cheap breakfast shop, so you can tell they put a lot of effort into it. Plus, having a washer and dryer is incredibly convenient; I could just pack my clean clothes straight into my luggage. And the parking? Super important, and it's very easy here! The snack area upstairs is also a thoughtful touch; it's great to grab something to eat if you get hungry."
