But it doesn’t make you feel noisy and crowded, but it’s unexpectedly peaceful.
Although the space in the camper is limited, it is well-equipped and soundproofed, and the sound of wind and waves can be isolated.
There are tables and chairs outside the camper, creating the feeling of a small courtyard. It is very relaxing and comfortable to chat, eat and drink here, and there is an incomparable sea view. Even if you don't go anywhere, it is worth spending the whole day.

Next time I come, I will stay here again. It’s so comfortable and convenient for traveling. I feel so good just lying in the room all day. I don’t want to go anywhere. It’s my first choice for vacation. Unfortunately, the weather was not very good and I didn’t see the sunrise. , hope to see it next time

It belongs to a family-style hot spring hotel. The boss’s wife greeted us very kindly. Because the double room originally booked was a bit problematic, the boss immediately helped us upgrade to a triple room without saying anything. The hot spring bath is dark black, and the hot water is added. You can adjust it yourself. It’s warm, you can soak in the hot spring comfortably in the room, the bed is moderately hard and comfortable, breakfast Chinese dishes, pumpkin porridge, freshly brewed coffee and soy milk, pure hot spring, no extra leisure facilities~

You have to drive a little further ahead to see the signboard. The environment is very good. The four-person room is also larger than expected.
There is also a balcony. It is not bad to see the big pool view downstairs, but the wild dog barking at the window factory at night is really all night.
The ducks are also loud in the morning. They should be raised in the rear factory. Although there are earplugs, they can still hear them.
It is not recommended that people who sleep lightly sleep by the window. Overall, it is OK, and the price is high.

If you live on the 2nd floor, you will have an invincible sea view, you can park your car at the door, and the room is very spacious and comfortable, but it is inconvenient to get in and out of the shower space and bathtub. For elders and children, you must be really careful. Because of the epidemic, breakfast has been changed to a lunch box. There are boiled eggs, boiled corn, bananas and bread, I feel healthy~

For those who are worried about the smell of smoke and cleanliness, don’t worry.
There are also many gourmet restaurants nearby. This time I booked a business room, and the soundproofing was OK. The bathroom and room were super comfortable. The bathroom had a large amount of water, and it was all soft water. It felt smooth and great when I washed my body! In particular, I really want to emphasize the awesome toilet-free experience~~~ I can only give it a thumbs up.

The invincible sea view is great and a great place to relax.
But the public facilities are only the swimming pool and the garden with an incomparable sea view, and there is no other place to go.
The hotel room facilities are great, and the room is filled with the scent of wood, which makes you feel very comfortable.
There are also high-end coffee machines and free drinks and bubbles.
And it’s very chilling to take a bath in the room and enjoy the sea view.

AAnonymous UserFabulous stay. Love the quiet, serene ambience although there are sounds of dogs and animals which is common in nature. The host, Mr Zhang is so warm and helpful that we felt treated like old friends coming for a visit. There is a dog and many cats in the house but non threatening. They make themselves scarce, somehow if guests are afraid of them.
As the BnB is up on the mountain, it’s easier to get around if there a car. The host goes out of his way to help and provide advice on where to go and how to get there. Perfect host!
The only room with twin beds is the family room for four. The other room is spacious to with king or queen beds.
A good place for a retreat.

NNanakoMy husband and I had the most incredible stay at Bohemia. It's next to a river with cows and within walking distance to the ocean. They let you use their electric bikes which allows you to explore the city of Hualien like a local (and without the need of an international license since it's not a scooter). The breakfasts were delicious and they accommodated my food restrictions, preparing traditional ********* breakfasts that were gluten and dairy free. The room was luxurious with a balcony with the amazing view of the river and sounds of nature. They also have a great rooftop that you can access and a new massage chair in the lobby. The staff were friendly and made sure that we had an enjoyable stay. We could not recommend this place more and would love to go back!

GGuest UserThe location is very convenient. It takes 20 minutes to walk to Xinxin Noodle House and 5 minutes to Dongdaemun Night Market. There is no breakfast attached to the B&B, but there are many delicious restaurants nearby.
If you arrive early in the afternoon, you can park in the parking lot of Dongdaemun Night Market (free)
The dog in the B&B is very cute and coquettish. I stayed for another 2 nights. The boss reminded me that there is a washing machine upstairs that you can use for free. It dried in the sun overnight. It is a different washing machine than the one used to clean the bed sheets in the room. This is my second time here. I will consider this place next time!

AAnonymous UserOverall satisfied, the room is big enough, two large boxes and umbrellas can be opened at the same time. There are postcards and stamps available for mailing downstairs of the hotel, and the location is close to the train station.
Unfortunately, the hotel staff didn’t mention printing a proof of accommodation, and there would be a discount at the Hualien Night Market, so I missed the event. It is inconvenient to change towels during consecutive stays, and toothbrushes, etc. also need to be paid for.

WWayneHXLWe got upgraded to a bigger quad room with windows for free, which was very nice.
Room: The room space may be small if you have many luggages, but there's no complaining at this price range because it's a steal! You can save some space if you bring your luggage to your bedside. An electricity outlet can be found on every bed, which is unquestionably very convenient. Cups, teabags, hairdryer, and slippers are provided.
Bathroom: The bathroom is clean, and it is a private bathroom inside the room (not shared bathroom outside the room!). Towels, toothbrush and toothpaste are provided as well.
Public area: There is a public area (like a kitchen) and an outdoor sitting area on the ground floor where you can make your own coffee or milk tea (which are provided there). Water dispenser can also be found there. There's a friendly (wild) cat too!
Service: The staff was friendly and helpful.
Luggage storage: If you're looking to store your luggage before check-in or after check-out, your luggage will just be stored on the corridor beside the counter with no safety other than ”name labels”.
Safety: Password will be required for entry into the inn after certain time at night.
Location: The inn is located close to the bus station, but some walking may be needed (which won't take long unless you carry big luggages). Convenience stores and some restaurants can be found within walking distance from the inn.

GGuest UserGreat location, great host and place. This is the perfect place to visit if you want to be treated like a queen! The breakfast is the best! You will not get sick even if you eat the same thing everyday. Local visit the cafe for their breakfast too. As my hand and i didnt not do much planning for our daily activities, the host would patiently suggested places to go and even advise us on transportation arrangement. They have even tied up with local taxi to give preferential rates for their guest. We have stayed 5 nights here and they have auto upgrade our rooms once the premier room is available. We were visually chatting with the boss and she says she treat all her guests like her family members. Which she really did! I am impressed with the service and hand truly enjoy my stay here. Will definitely stay here again if i visit hualien

TTobias TDuring my recent trip to Hualien, I had the unique opportunity to stay at the Peace Prison Cafe Inn Hostel, and it truly exceeded my expectations. As soon as I arrived, the prison theme instantly caught my attention. The rooms were designed to resemble prison cells, which added an intriguing and immersive element to my stay.
One thing that stood out to me was the absence of a traditional reception desk. Instead, to gain entry, all guests need to do is call the contact number provided, which adds a touch of mystery to the experience. The lady working there was exceptionally helpful and patient, even taking the time to explain how to use the facilities in Chinese. Her assistance made my stay all the more enjoyable.
As a solo traveler, I couldn't help but appreciate the eerie vibes that the place exudes, especially since I'm a fan of horror. Every night, I found myself immersed in an atmosphere that perfectly catered to my taste. It's not often that you come across a hostel that provides such a unique and thrilling ambiance.
Cleanliness is always a priority for me, and I was pleased to find that Peace Prison Cafe Inn Hostel did not disappoint in this aspect. @@travel_with_the_sunIt's clean, it's close to the train station, where you can rent a scooter to explore Taroko National Park, also have a gas station next door to refill your scooter and you are next to the main road to go to the National Park. There is enough stuff to cook yourself something. Communication with the landlord on self check-in went well and I could check-in earlier because my bed was free, actually I was the only guest in the dorm on my first of two nights.
It was calm and the entire hostel & bathroom was very clean. I liked, that you can buy razors, one-way towels, toothbrush kit for a small fee, even if I didn't need it.
The only downside, and that's why I gave it -3 stars in amenity was, that the mattress was so hard, it felt like sleeping on the floor. The room had a bit of strange moisture smell, but I could get used to it quickly. If there would be a thicker, less hard mattress, that place would get total points.
On the back door / balcony you have a nice view of the mountains. (The picture attached is taken from the road, but if you crop the lower half, it's what you see)
