Mountain View Hotels in Dongyang

We chose this hotel because of its non-smoking policy [a lot of hotels in this town allow guests to smoke in the room]. We spent one day in a suite and one day in a 2-bed ”mountain view” room [view from our windows in the pictures] The 2-bed room was huge, 120cm beds, no fridge. The suite seemed bigger in the photos, nice, with a fridge and very big bathroom. Both rooms with A.C., both equipped with a universal charger, a tea set with 2 bottles of water 0,5l each, both with intelligent Xiao Du light, courtains, tv and wc system, windows equipped with mosquito nets. ”Mountain view” and some photos suggest 'Zen' style high end neighbourhood, but in reality it is a very, very regular chinese neighbourhood. There is only chinese name on the hotel building I think. We arrived one hour before the check-in time and get the room without any problem. The young female receptionist was extremely helpful and polite, used the translator app to communicate. She helped us to buy the right tickets and a hotel menager accompanied us to the nearest ticket office. The hotel is very close to the Qin palace and Dream Valley. There are 2 tourist bus lines (A and B) connecting most of the scenic spots, every 30 min, a ticket costs 2 r.m.b. one can pay in cash in the bus, this bus service stops about 4.30 p.m. Apple maps app works OK, google maps app does not work in China. We took a taxi from Yiwu station (1 hour) to get to the hotel, 170 r.m.b. and about 43 km one way if one goes the shortest way or 220 r.m.b. and about 63 km via highway, a taxi from Qingming palace costs about 20 r.m.b. There is an annual ticket for 898 r.m.b., this ticket is for one adult plus one child or just one adult - all 13 scenic spots included [Dream Valley excluded], one can enter each scenic spot only once a day. I think 2 scenic spots in one day is a max,  maybe 3 because most of the spots closes about 4.30 p.m., only one or two are closing about 8 p.m. There is no printed ticket only passport data in their system so you enter by showing the passport.The Hengdian Studios I think are not prepared for foreign tourists at all. Their printed map is very small, hard to read, does not show enter gates or ticket offices, their website is not helping, in theory there is an English version but with very little information, the chinese website is better but still not very helpful, there is no list of all 13 scenic spots or the opening hours, only information about the major ones.

The facilities and equipment are very complete, making life more convenient. The environment is very beautiful, the greenery is very good, and there is a lake, which makes people feel happy.

Overall satisfactory. The temperature of the room is suitable, and the lights and curtains are controlled by the touch screen. The room is generally hygienic, and it is a bit depressing to see a corner. The bathroom is still relatively clean and provides a disposable toilet pad. The mountain is seen from the window, and the surrounding area is relatively desolate, but there are several local restaurants near the hotel, which is quite convenient. It is more than 1km from the Yuanmingyuan Scenic Area, and it is far from other scenic spots. There is a complimentary Hanfu experience, the lobby on the first floor is selected, we did not go, we will not comment.

The homestay is very, very good in all aspects! The environment is beautiful, the rooms are clean and tidy and comfortable, and the service quality is very satisfactory! trustworthy! ! ! On the last night, I came to a surprise and had a heavy snow. The children were happy when they got up early in the morning. I have never encountered such a big snow in my life!

I heard that many stars will come to check in this homestay. After I came, I was surprised that there is such a good homestay in Hengdian! The homestay is very large, with two reservoirs, a large lawn and a swimming pool. If it is the same price, I will recommend you to choose this homestay! Really great value!

Really a perfect stay! The staff was really very nice and helped us a lot throughout our stay, we really appreciated it, thank you again! The breakfast is very good, the view of the park is great and the location is perfect next to three walking areas! We will not hesitate to come back ❤️

The hotel lobby is very nice and the front desk check-in is fast. The room was cleaned very clean and the room smelled good. Automatic curtain smart toilet. The demand responds quickly and can meet special needs. There are many types of meals and the hotel restaurant is cost-effective.

The water temperature of the water heater is also stable, making flushing comfortable Breakfast: There are all kinds: steamed buns, eggs, fruits (watermelon, honeydew, although there are only two kinds, but they are both delicious) and the eggs are also delicious. A fly in the ointment: some rooms have ducted air, which causes the sound of water dripping, but the hotel quickly changed rooms and also gave away several bottles of homemade red wine. The front desk lady is very good at serving, the breakfast is delicious, the room is also very large, next to Yintai shopping is very convenient, next door is the light rail station, Traveling is also very good, overall it is very good!
