This is worth mentioning. Environment: The environment is good, the sound insulation is very good, so the room is very quiet and I sleep comfortably at night. The overall decoration of the homestay is very new, the decoration style is relatively uniform, and it is quite comfortable. The dining environment on the top floor is very good Service: The staff is very enthusiastic. They will proactively provide Hengdian travel guides when you check in. Fruits will be delivered to the room. The breakfast is also very rich. It is very convenient to find the staff if you have any questions.

The room was very clean, spacious, and bright. The front desk staff (specifically the young lady) was beautiful and kind. I'd definitely stay here again if I have the chance.

In short, the amenities and service experience were absolutely perfect. I chose this hotel blindly, and it turned out to be a hidden gem with its full Chinese-style decor, winding paths, and breathtaking beauty – a truly ancient and rustic treasure. The gentle and serene butler ladies arranged everything I requested in advance. I even got a free upgrade from a king-size bed to a suite, and the amenities were high-end and elegant (for example, the coffee cups were Dior). Compared to other hotels I've stayed at in the same price range, this one definitely stands out with its unique character. Plus, breakfast is a set menu; while it lacks an overwhelming variety, the wontons, green bean and pork pancakes, and noodle soup made by the local auntie were truly delicious. The only minor drawback is that dinner has no menu, and the fixed dishes are more Western-style rather than local specialties. On my first night, I provided the ideas, and the kitchen then prepared and cooked the dishes. I hope there will be some changes next time I visit, haha.

Environment: Located next to an unfinished building, the external environment is so-so. The guesthouse is styled like a trendy spot, with many photo opportunities inside the main entrance. Breakfast is simple, not buffet style but pre-made, served in a small area next to the lobby. Room service is also available. Facilities: Poor soundproofing 😦 The room rate is over 1000 RMB during holidays. Its advantage is its relatively close proximity to attractions, but overall, the price-performance ratio isn't very high.

I really enjoyed my stay at Hengdian, Half Summer. It’s not too crowded, I don’t have to wait for the lift for too long unlike in a hotel. Check in was a breeze. The staff there were friendly and helpful. For breakfast, you can choose either Chinese style or western style. I preferred the Chinese style breakfast. The bed was comfortable and I was able to have a good sleep every night. The shower always had hot water, even the basin as well. Basic toiletries were provided. The staff even provided complimentary mineral water (daily) and fruits as well. I could also order food delivery. The location is wonderful. I took a high speed train from Shanghai Hongqiao to Yiwu station, then from Yiwu station, I took a cab to 凌云 Lingyun Metro/Light Rail station. Then I took the metro/light rail from 凌云 Lingyun to 明清宫 Ming Qing Palace. Once I exit the metro/Light Rail station, I took didi to the hotel directly. From the hotel, it is only a 10-15 mins walk to 2 local night markets and bubble tea shops. Not to mention that the attractions are also just a short didi away. The only thing that I hoped they provided was local tv channels. They do have a projector, but one would have to subscribe to watch local shows.

The family suite is huge, with two double beds that can easily sleep 4 or 5 people. Both rooms have bay windows and a small table, and there's a small living room with a sofa and coffee table. The bathroom is also very spacious and comes with disposable toilet seat covers, bath towels, and hand towels—very clean indeed. It's very close to Guangzhou Street, Hong Kong Street, and the Ming and Qing Palace, and quite quiet at night. The food at the Yu Yan restaurant downstairs is quite good. Suitable for families or large groups. Based on my personal experience, I highly recommend it.

I went to Hengdian for a business trip for one night and booked this homestay. It was unexpectedly pleasant, clean and tidy, with petty bourgeoisie, and the traffic was convenient. I will meet a friend next time and stay for a few days.

The room is new at first glance. The cleaning is very clean. The layout is simple and generous, there is a sense of relaxation at home, the sheets and quilts are changed for each guest, the room has no smell, toothbrushes, disposable face towels, hair dryers, air conditioners and other things are all complete, and there is an elevator. You can see the green mountains from the window. I am in a good mood. I also provided some small snacks. We came back from the Ming and Qing Palace Gardens. We were too tired and too lazy to drive. The landlord also took the initiative to borrow our electric car to eat. Because of the itinerary, I stayed for three days. I have the opportunity to come to Hengdian in the future.
