By car, it only takes 8 minutes to "New Yuanmingyuan", "Hong Kong Street and Guang Zhou Street " "Palace of Ming and Qing Dynasties" etc. For those are traveling, there are a number of beautifully appointed rooms with luxury facilities, standards mattress at your disposal. Guests can dine on-site at the buffet restaurant. Additionally the terrace of 2nd floor offer self-service washing machines and dyers. At this hotel you can also enjoy free Wi-Fi in public areas as well as free parking.
"This hotel is an absolute no-brainer – just book it!
✅Service: The front desk staff are practically mind-readers! I was just about to look for a charging cable, and they already handed one over. When I checked out, they even gave me two bottles of water for the road – so thoughtful.
✅Breakfast: Breakfast is served until 10 AM, which is a dream for late risers! I had two bowls of wontons. My only 'suggestion': Can the egg chef please stop asking me 'sunny side up or over easy' every time? Just give me a soft-boiled egg, please! 😄
✅Hanfu Experience: Free! Free! Free! The styles are quite new and don't have that cheap 'ten-yuan photo studio' feel. I spent half an hour taking photos in the hotel garden, saving myself 60 yuan on hanfu rental at the scenic spot. Small suggestion: It would be even more perfect if they could provide a few simple hair clips or fan props. With just the clothes, my hands didn't know where to go...
✅Location: It's about a 5-minute walk to the scenic area's main entrance – literally 'out the hotel door, and around the corner'. If you get tired, you can come back to relax and then head out again. It's a blessing for those traveling with seniors or children.
Overall, it's a super high-value, one-stop accommodation for lazy travelers. I'll definitely stay here again next time. Hopefully, they'll have a few more XL-sized Hanfu outfits then! 😂"

"Excellent, highly recommended! We chose the circus out of the three options, and it was a very fulfilling and substantial experience, perfect for kids. The hotel even upgraded us to a suite – the room was huge with two beds, and the decor was quite nice. The front desk staff were very friendly and they even had children's toys. Parking was convenient, and the building itself had a unique design. It was only a 10-minute drive to the circus. On the way back, we ate at Konglala Shanglu Wontons and also had some lamb, which tasted great. It seemed like all the shops in that row were delicious. Breakfast the next day was also good and offered great value for money. Definitely worth a visit if you're bringing kids to Hengdian."

MarymlchanThe location is good. The hotel interior desires really nice or decorate by antique furniture and the lighting is very nice. You can take a lot of photo in the ground floor and corridor.
The room is the same as what I see in the website decoration is nice and clean. We went in May and the weather is hot and the hotel air condition is this is good enough. We got upgraded to bigger room and the washroom is very big.
The receptionist and or the hotel butler ( I forgot adked her name) is very friendly and helpful. I would like to said thank you to her.
The hotel provided free breakfast. It tastes good. We lived 2 nights and they very early in the morning that we cannot catch up the breakfast time. The hotel butler prepared takeout for us so that we can have it in airport. The breakfast included congee, homemade sausage, fruit, milk. It all tasted good.
I definitely will recommend to all my friend. I will book again when I come back..

I chose this hotel blindly, and it turned out to be a hidden gem with its full Chinese-style decor, winding paths, and breathtaking beauty – a truly ancient and rustic treasure. The gentle and serene butler ladies arranged everything I requested in advance. I even got a free upgrade from a king-size bed to a suite, and the amenities were high-end and elegant (for example, the coffee cups were Dior). Compared to other hotels I've stayed at in the same price range, this one definitely stands out with its unique character. Plus, breakfast is a set menu; while it lacks an overwhelming variety, the wontons, green bean and pork pancakes, and noodle soup made by the local auntie were truly delicious. The only minor drawback is that dinner has no menu, and the fixed dishes are more Western-style rather than local specialties. On my first night, I provided the ideas, and the kitchen then prepared and cooked the dishes. I hope there will be some changes next time I visit, haha.

The family room was spacious and beautifully decorated, with great attention to detail. Just a few minor issues: the hairdryer was quite heavy and the plug would sometimes come loose. The towel ring needs to be secured better. Memory foam pillows would be a more comfortable option. The activities were a bit repetitive; we only saw a clown handing out balloons every morning. For the buffet breakfast, I'd recommend avoiding the connected dining chairs, especially if you have kids, as the tables and chairs are too far apart, making it inconvenient to eat. Their back balcony offers a panoramic view of Dream Bund, perfect for photos. The hallway also makes for great photo ops with its strong Republic of China-era vibe. I'd also suggest booking your tickets with the hotel as you can then use them multiple times at each attraction.

Five stars, highly recommend! The tent experience was absolutely divine 🌌.
The environment is tranquil and stunning, backed by green mountains with expansive views. During the day, you're fully immersed in nature, creating an incredible atmosphere. The tent itself was clean, tidy, and odorless, with spacious and comfortable interiors. The air conditioning works great, and the private bathroom has plenty of hot water. The bedding is soft and luxurious, perfectly blending glamping romance with hotel comfort – no feeling of being rudimentary here at all.
The butler service was thoughtful and attentive, responding promptly and meticulously to every need. The surrounding scenery is incredibly photogenic and super healing. It's the perfect escape from the city's hustle and bustle, offering maximum relaxation and healing. An excellent choice for a getaway, I'll definitely be back!

Maybe because it is a newly opened hotel, the breakfast soy milk machine was not adjusted properly, and the sweet soy milk I chose turned out to be water. I checked in late at night and saw that the coffee machine and table in the lobby were in a mess and no one had cleaned them up…

I really enjoyed my stay at Hengdian, Half Summer. It’s not too crowded, I don’t have to wait for the lift for too long unlike in a hotel. Check in was a breeze. The staff there were friendly and helpful. For breakfast, you can choose either Chinese style or western style. I preferred the Chinese style breakfast. The bed was comfortable and I was able to have a good sleep every night. The shower always had hot water, even the basin as well. Basic toiletries were provided. The staff even provided complimentary mineral water (daily) and fruits as well. I could also order food delivery.
The location is wonderful. I took a high speed train from Shanghai Hongqiao to Yiwu station, then from Yiwu station, I took a cab to 凌云 Lingyun Metro/Light Rail station. Then I took the metro/light rail from 凌云 Lingyun to 明清宫 Ming Qing Palace.
Once I exit the metro/Light Rail station, I took didi to the hotel directly.
From the hotel, it is only a 10-15 mins walk to 2 local night markets and bubble tea shops. Not to mention that the attractions are also just a short didi away.
The only thing that I hoped they provided was local tv channels. They do have a projector, but one would have to subscribe to watch local shows.

The mattress was just right, not too soft and not too hard, so I slept very soundly at night. The platform was efficient, and they responded promptly to any needs. The location is very convenient, and I would consider staying here again next time. I highly recommend this place to everyone; it's also very close to the scenic spots.

Guest UserHighly recommended for family, the accommodation is large enough for family of 4. The breakfast feels very homely and nicely prepared for our family and suited for children. Owner and butler are very friendly. It’s very nice to have know them.
The location is also very near to night market and also hengdian attractions, 4d3n is just right for us to fully immerse with the culture ans environment.
This place is strongly recommended for family with young children too!
the place is also equipped with washing machine though we did not use it but it’s very useful if we need to use.

I recently stayed at this hotel with my two friends and had a pleasant experience overall. The owner, a lovely lady, was incredibly friendly and made sure I felt welcome throughout my stay. The location is super convenient, with plenty of restaurants, fruit markets, and mini supermarkets nearby, making it easy to explore and grab anything you need.
The hotel is about 16 km away from the main attractions, roughly an hour's drive, so it’s a bit out of the way, but that also means it's quieter. The room itself was not the cleanest, but for the price, it was worth it. The essentials were covered with hot water, air conditioning, and all the basic amenities you’d expect, including free toiletries.
One of the best parts is that the hotel accepts foreigners without any issues, which made my stay stress-free. If you're looking for budget-friendly accommodation with all the basic comforts and a very kind host, this place is a solid choice.

Guest Userthe room is spacious and super cozy. very clean, no malfunction. it feels homey. there's also a little snacks provided in the room! the location is also super convenient, just right across the Qing Ming Shang He Tu. you can even see it from your window room. the inn also has a hanfu rent. the host is very responsive, and the whole check in and check out is very smooth. I stayed in the 2nd floor, the stairs is a little bit narrow so it may be a little bit inconvenient if you bring a heavy lugagge, but that's not a problem. the host helped me to bring my luggage up. I recommend it to anyone who visit hengdian!!👍👍
