Family friendly Hotels in Dongyang

I really enjoyed my stay at Hengdian, Half Summer. It’s not too crowded, I don’t have to wait for the lift for too long unlike in a hotel. Check in was a breeze. The staff there were friendly and helpful. For breakfast, you can choose either Chinese style or western style. I preferred the Chinese style breakfast. The bed was comfortable and I was able to have a good sleep every night. The shower always had hot water, even the basin as well. Basic toiletries were provided. The staff even provided complimentary mineral water (daily) and fruits as well. I could also order food delivery. The location is wonderful. I took a high speed train from Shanghai Hongqiao to Yiwu station, then from Yiwu station, I took a cab to 凌云 Lingyun Metro/Light Rail station. Then I took the metro/light rail from 凌云 Lingyun to 明清宫 Ming Qing Palace. Once I exit the metro/Light Rail station, I took didi to the hotel directly. From the hotel, it is only a 10-15 mins walk to 2 local night markets and bubble tea shops. Not to mention that the attractions are also just a short didi away. The only thing that I hoped they provided was local tv channels. They do have a projector, but one would have to subscribe to watch local shows.

We chose this hotel because of its non-smoking policy [a lot of hotels in this town allow guests to smoke in the room]. We spent one day in a suite and one day in a 2-bed ”mountain view” room [view from our windows in the pictures] The 2-bed room was huge, 120cm beds, no fridge. The suite seemed bigger in the photos, nice, with a fridge and very big bathroom. Both rooms with A.C., both equipped with a universal charger, a tea set with 2 bottles of water 0,5l each, both with intelligent Xiao Du light, courtains, tv and wc system, windows equipped with mosquito nets. ”Mountain view” and some photos suggest 'Zen' style high end neighbourhood, but in reality it is a very, very regular chinese neighbourhood. There is only chinese name on the hotel building I think. We arrived one hour before the check-in time and get the room without any problem. The young female receptionist was extremely helpful and polite, used the translator app to communicate. She helped us to buy the right tickets and a hotel menager accompanied us to the nearest ticket office. The hotel is very close to the Qin palace and Dream Valley. There are 2 tourist bus lines (A and B) connecting most of the scenic spots, every 30 min, a ticket costs 2 r.m.b. one can pay in cash in the bus, this bus service stops about 4.30 p.m. Apple maps app works OK, google maps app does not work in China. We took a taxi from Yiwu station (1 hour) to get to the hotel, 170 r.m.b. and about 43 km one way if one goes the shortest way or 220 r.m.b. and about 63 km via highway, a taxi from Qingming palace costs about 20 r.m.b. There is an annual ticket for 898 r.m.b., this ticket is for one adult plus one child or just one adult - all 13 scenic spots included [Dream Valley excluded], one can enter each scenic spot only once a day. I think 2 scenic spots in one day is a max,  maybe 3 because most of the spots closes about 4.30 p.m., only one or two are closing about 8 p.m. There is no printed ticket only passport data in their system so you enter by showing the passport.The Hengdian Studios I think are not prepared for foreign tourists at all. Their printed map is very small, hard to read, does not show enter gates or ticket offices, their website is not helping, in theory there is an English version but with very little information, the chinese website is better but still not very helpful, there is no list of all 13 scenic spots or the opening hours, only information about the major ones.

This homestay is very good, with an excellent location and convenient transportation. The attractions are not far away, making it convenient for sightseeing. The sanitation is also very good, the room is clean and tidy, and it is very comfortable and spacious to live in. The service is very warm and thoughtful, which makes people feel happy.

During the two-day trip to Hengdian, we chose a good-looking famous hotel among hotels and famous hotels. Because it had just opened, the decoration was very new, hygienic and clean. We booked a triple room with tatami mats. In fact, the room is just a large bed and a 1.2m floor shop. The famous hotel has a dedicated one on the first floor. The place where you check in and take pictures has good service. You will be contacted by phone before you come and will be picked up at the door. You can reserve a parking space. The breakfast is rich and nutritious. Overall, everything is very good except that the soundproofing is a bit poor. You can hear the sound of the TV in the next room when you sleep at night.

#新东阳富嘟 The hotel has first-class service, spacious and bright rooms, comfortable bedding, and makes people feel at home. The hotel is very conveniently located, with many attractions around and very convenient transportation. The buffet breakfast dishes have a delicate taste, especially the local specialties are very authentic. The hotel staff, the front desk aunt, is very warm and thoughtful, giving people a warm feeling. I highly recommend this hotel, whether it is a business trip or a tourist. The facilities and equipment are very complete, making life more convenient. The environment is very beautiful, the greenery is very good, and there is a lake, which makes people feel happy.

Overall satisfactory. The temperature of the room is suitable, and the lights and curtains are controlled by the touch screen. The room is generally hygienic, and it is a bit depressing to see a corner. The bathroom is still relatively clean and provides a disposable toilet pad. The mountain is seen from the window, and the surrounding area is relatively desolate, but there are several local restaurants near the hotel, which is quite convenient. It is more than 1km from the Yuanmingyuan Scenic Area, and it is far from other scenic spots. There is a complimentary Hanfu experience, the lobby on the first floor is selected, we did not go, we will not comment.

Although it is only an hourly room, the stay is quite comfortable. I am really tired after shooting all night. I can take a short break here and keep an eye on our group's developments and take a nap. It's really nice, boss. They are also very enthusiastic. Next time I have the opportunity to go back to Hengdian for shooting, I plan to book a full room because I heard from the proprietress that their breakfast is also great and I really want to try it.

The house is quite comfortable, the butler service is good, the room also has a balcony, and you can play billiards in the basement. The recommended Northeastern home-cooked restaurant for New Year's Eve and New Year's Eve has terrible food and a bad attitude, so avoid it!

The homestay is very, very good in all aspects! The environment is beautiful, the rooms are clean and tidy and comfortable, and the service quality is very satisfactory! trustworthy! ! ! On the last night, I came to a surprise and had a heavy snow. The children were happy when they got up early in the morning. I have never encountered such a big snow in my life!

The environment of the homestay is very good and very intimate. We sent us a fruit plate. The breakfast is particularly special. It is a Jiugongge breakfast. The bed is particularly comfortable to sleep. The home is very smart. The toilet is toutou. The trash can is automatically opened. There are several shortcomings: the toilet is fully transparent, it feels particularly inconvenient, the socket can not be found next to the table where the kettle is placed, and the second is that the paper towels are not enough, and there is only a little paper towels in the box... The supporting facilities of this homestay cannot match the price of 1000 ➕.
