"Spent 2 nights and 3 days there, starting the day before the Mid-Autumn Festival. Overall, I was quite satisfied. We checked in at noon, and there was a shuttle and a butler service that took us to our accommodation, which was located within the scenic area and had a Republican-era aesthetic. The room wasn't large, and because of the abundance of wood, there was a musty smell. However, airing it out helped dissipate the odor. The bathroom remained damp and always had a smell. The package included 5 scenic spots: Guangzhou Street, Riverside Scene at Qingming Festival, Ming and Qing Palaces, Qin Palace, and Dream Valley. The day before the festival, Riverside Scene at Qingming Festival was not crowded, and there weren't as many NPCs as in Taihu Performance City. 'A Dream of Bianliang' wasn't particularly surprising; perhaps I've seen too many flashy acrobatics. In contrast, 'Forbidden City Ceremony,' with its storyline, was quite good. On the first evening, we also visited Qin Palace. On the second morning, we drove through Ming and Qing Palaces but didn't see many NPCs. In the afternoon, we rested at Guangzhou Street and watched a performance in the evening, with the last show being very impressive. On the third morning, we went to Dream Valley. It was very hot. We visited the Children's Dream Factory and rode the Ferris wheel. Because it was Mid-Autumn Festival, there were many people, so we couldn't queue up to interact with the NPCs; by the time we would have, it was over. In the afternoon, we went back to Riverside Scene at Qingming Festival, hoping to earn some 'film fees' and redeem souvenirs, but it was very crowded. We walked around for a bit and then left in the evening. My expectations for Hengdian were too high. It's just okay to visit; if you're not taking many photos, you can get through it quickly. At least I can say I've been there."

"We checked in at 9:30 AM, but our room wasn't ready, so we stored our luggage and went out. We came back at 4:30 PM, and our room was finally available. My child opened the curtains and was a bit disappointed. We booked the hotel because it said we'd have a view of Dream Valley, but the actual view was like this [implied poor view, likely referring to a picture not provided]. The cleanliness needs improvement; perhaps the hotel has been renovated a while ago. The breakfast was good, though, with a good variety that my child enjoyed."

"The hotel's location is excellent, making it convenient to visit several scenic spots, and parking is also quite easy. The rooms are spacious and bright, beautifully decorated, and meticulously clean. While the breakfast selection isn't vast, it's quite tasty and includes some local Hengdian specialties. Finally, I must commend the front desk service. I've stayed in many hotels, and this one stands out as the most welcoming and responsive. Upon arrival, they immediately provided water toys and various children's amenities for my child without us even having to ask, which felt incredibly thoughtful. There was a slight misunderstanding during our extended stay, but the manager responded quickly and resolved it right away. When checking out, they even gave us some cultural and creative souvenirs, which was a very considerate touch."

"This hotel is incredibly good value for money! The room was exceptionally clean, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and I slept soundly all night. The location is also convenient; the subway station is just a short walk away, and there are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, checking in and out quickly, and they even proactively recommended nearby attractions. "The best part about staying at the Crystal Hotel is all the food options nearby! There's a convenience store and late-night food stalls downstairs, and a whole street of snacks right around the corner. It was great to grab some BBQ and fried skewers at night and stroll back to the hotel. For breakfast, they had both Chinese and Western options, and you could get unlimited coffee refills. You definitely have to try their special wontons. The room was clean and comfortable, and the front desk staff, especially Xiao Z, provided excellent service. I'll definitely come back to Hengdian and stay here again!"

"What a stroke of luck! As soon as we checked in, we met the legendary 'landlady' (bao zu po), who warmly escorted us to our room. We were absolutely delighted with the room we booked this time; it had two balconies facing different directions, offering a constant view of the performances 🎭. All the hotel staff were very friendly, and the concierge group chat was incredibly convenient, with super-fast responses. We'll definitely be staying here again on our next visit!"

"This B&B's location is excellent. It's just a short walk across the car park and up some stairs to Ming and Qing Palace Garden, and Guangzhou Street is only a 5-minute walk away. Right outside, you'll find supermarkets, restaurants, and breakfast spots, all opening early. The supermarkets even stay open until midnight, which is incredibly convenient. The room was clean and tidy, and the owner was super nice. We ordered too much food at a restaurant and couldn't finish it all, so we packed it up and even borrowed the owner's fridge and microwave. They also help with booking tickets, which are a few yuan cheaper than online."

The location is fantastic, offering a quiet escape right in the heart of the action. It's right next to Dream Valley, and our floor-to-ceiling window offered a view of the pirate ship ride – super cool! The guesthouse's courtyard design is like a charming little garden. The room itself is a delightful blend of retro Chinese and modern stylish design. The bathroom features a smart toilet that automatically lifts the lid when you approach and flushes and washes automatically when you leave. The seat temperature is adjustable too. We also loved that we could choose to watch TV or cast content to the screen simultaneously. The auntie's Aomen noodles for breakfast were absolutely delicious – a true local specialty! Even my picky eater finished a big bowl, which says a lot! 😂

The location is good. The hotel interior desires really nice or decorate by antique furniture and the lighting is very nice. You can take a lot of photo in the ground floor and corridor. The room is the same as what I see in the website decoration is nice and clean. We went in May and the weather is hot and the hotel air condition is this is good enough. We got upgraded to bigger room and the washroom is very big. The receptionist and or the hotel butler ( I forgot adked her name) is very friendly and helpful. I would like to said thank you to her. The hotel provided free breakfast. It tastes good. We lived 2 nights and they very early in the morning that we cannot catch up the breakfast time. The hotel butler prepared takeout for us so that we can have it in airport. The breakfast included congee, homemade sausage, fruit, milk. It all tasted good. I definitely will recommend to all my friend. I will book again when I come back..

A hidden gem of a guesthouse. Excellent location, right next to Dream Valley and Qin Palace, within walking distance. Charming folk-style architecture, unique buildings, swimming pool, and small water features. Five-star hygiene standards. Five-star service, truly making you feel at home. The butler, Xiao Lin, and the other night shift butler provided exceptionally attentive and warm service. The hotel breakfast is also top-notch. For someone traveling abroad, being able to eat home-cooked meals at the hotel was incredibly touching. My mother doesn't eat meat, and the chef made special arrangements accordingly. Book this amazing guesthouse with confidence!

Malay Malaysian guest here😍 I stayed here for two nights as I was visiting Hengdian. overall I had a really pleasant stay at this hotel. Cleanliness was very satisfying, the room n toilet were well maintained. The bathroom came with basic amenities like slippers, toothbrush, towels, and a floor mat. The shower, sink, and both hot and cold water worked perfectly. The room was also well equipped with a kettle, cups, and some sachets (possibly coffee or tea). The TV and air conditioning were both functioning well, which made the stay comfortable. One of the best things about this hotel is definitely the location. It’s situated along Wansheng Street, which is very lively and happening at night. You can easily walk around as everything is nearby, plenty of shops, restaurants, and even a pharmacy right in front of the hotel. For Muslim travelers like us, this location is especially convenient as there is a halal restaurant (qingzhen) just across the hotel, making it very easy to find halal food. The receptionist was also very helpful and friendly. Even though there was a language barrier, they still tried their best to communicate and assist us. Another great facility is the laundry room near the lobby. It’s very convenient, with 2 washing machines, a dryer, a steam iron n even detergent provided. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel for its cleanliness, facilities, and especially its strategic location✨✨✨✨✨

This hotel is an absolute no-brainer – just book it! ✅Service: The front desk staff are practically mind-readers! I was just about to look for a charging cable, and they already handed one over. When I checked out, they even gave me two bottles of water for the road – so thoughtful. ✅Breakfast: Breakfast is served until 10 AM, which is a dream for late risers! I had two bowls of wontons. My only 'suggestion': Can the egg chef please stop asking me 'sunny side up or over easy' every time? Just give me a soft-boiled egg, please! 😄 ✅Hanfu Experience: Free! Free! Free! The styles are quite new and don't have that cheap 'ten-yuan photo studio' feel. I spent half an hour taking photos in the hotel garden, saving myself 60 yuan on hanfu rental at the scenic spot. Small suggestion: It would be even more perfect if they could provide a few simple hair clips or fan props. With just the clothes, my hands didn't know where to go... ✅Location: It's about a 5-minute walk to the scenic area's main entrance – literally 'out the hotel door, and around the corner'. If you get tired, you can come back to relax and then head out again. It's a blessing for those traveling with seniors or children. Overall, it's a super high-value, one-stop accommodation for lazy travelers. I'll definitely stay here again next time. Hopefully, they'll have a few more XL-sized Hanfu outfits then! 😂

I really enjoyed my stay at Hengdian, Half Summer. It’s not too crowded, I don’t have to wait for the lift for too long unlike in a hotel. Check in was a breeze. The staff there were friendly and helpful. For breakfast, you can choose either Chinese style or western style. I preferred the Chinese style breakfast. The bed was comfortable and I was able to have a good sleep every night. The shower always had hot water, even the basin as well. Basic toiletries were provided. The staff even provided complimentary mineral water (daily) and fruits as well. I could also order food delivery. The location is wonderful. I took a high speed train from Shanghai Hongqiao to Yiwu station, then from Yiwu station, I took a cab to 凌云 Lingyun Metro/Light Rail station. Then I took the metro/light rail from 凌云 Lingyun to 明清宫 Ming Qing Palace. Once I exit the metro/Light Rail station, I took didi to the hotel directly. From the hotel, it is only a 10-15 mins walk to 2 local night markets and bubble tea shops. Not to mention that the attractions are also just a short didi away. The only thing that I hoped they provided was local tv channels. They do have a projector, but one would have to subscribe to watch local shows.

The location of Haiya Hotel (Wansheng South Street branch) is absolutely fantastic! Downstairs on the first floor, there's a cluster of fast-food options like Yang's Fried Dumplings, McDonald's, and KFC, offering a huge variety of choices for meals. You can easily sort out all three meals just by stepping out. It's right next to Wansheng Pedestrian Street and the night market, making it super convenient to go out for food, shopping, and a stroll in the evening. No need to go out of your way for sightseeing. The front desk service was warm and attentive, and check-in and check-out were very efficient. They responded quickly to any issues. It's a quiet oasis amidst the hustle and bustle; after exploring the night market, returning to the hotel to rest is incredibly convenient. This is definitely my top choice for a place to stay when visiting Hengdian.

**Great Value for Money with Friendly Service** I recently stayed at this hotel with my two friends and had a pleasant experience overall. The owner, a lovely lady, was incredibly friendly and made sure I felt welcome throughout my stay. The location is super convenient, with plenty of restaurants, fruit markets, and mini supermarkets nearby, making it easy to explore and grab anything you need. The hotel is about 16 km away from the main attractions, roughly an hour's drive, so it’s a bit out of the way, but that also means it's quieter. The room itself was not the cleanest, but for the price, it was worth it. The essentials were covered with hot water, air conditioning, and all the basic amenities you’d expect, including free toiletries. One of the best parts is that the hotel accepts foreigners without any issues, which made my stay stress-free.
