"This ”luxury” resort, with its stubbornly ”no air conditioning” philosophy, exposed us to the relentless July Alpine heat. The rooms lacked air conditioning, not even fans. While it was cool outside at night, opening the doors and windows for ventilation resulted in a room filled with insects and flies. If you're looking for the thrill of waking up in the middle of the night sweating, this is the place to go.
As for the service, the entire front desk staff, regardless of day or night shift, were arrogant, disorganized, and hostile. During check-in, the short, dark-skinned receptionist was disorganized and inefficient. She spent half an hour checking in four rooms and even charged an unrealistic deposit. During our stay, I asked the large, blond receptionist if a fan was available, but received a stern look and a negative response. During check-out, the tall, blonde receptionist was not only unskilled but also rude. She even accused us of ”shouting” and demanded we ”talk like human beings.” She ignored our Ctrip booking confirmation and arbitrarily deducted over 200 euros, refusing to explain or verify the bill. This not only violates basic service industry ethics but also constitutes malicious deductions and even fraud, suffusing her with discrimination and hostility. When I suggested I videotape her for evidence, she acted as if she had been deeply wronged and went to the operations director. Fortunately, the director was a reasonable person. After listening to our story, he expressed understanding and asked us to leave after leaving and he would investigate further. It turned out to be a mistake, and the director sent an email to apologize.
The most disappointing aspect of the entire trip was the hotel experience. While the hardware flaws were tolerable, the malicious deductions and the insulting treatment by the front desk staff were truly over the top. Such hotels are not only poorly managed, but may even deliberately exploit language barriers and unfamiliarity to overcharge. Future travelers are strongly advised to choose carefully. If you've already booked, be sure to keep evidence to avoid becoming the next victim."
