"It was my first family trip to Miyakojima.
It was a very beautiful hotel because it was a new hotel.
It was very helpful to lend me snorkeling tools and beach parasols.
It was convenient to use coin laundry and wash wet swimsuits every day.
I honestly thought I wanted to come again.
Thank you."
"Great accommodation that we would definitely recommend. The owners are very friendly, and the room was impeccably clean. The amenities were fantastic; the in-room washer and dryer were particularly convenient. The room was spacious with a small kitchenette and a large refrigerator. The location on Irabu Island is good, but a rental car is an absolute must. We were able to park our car in the hotel's parking lot at any time without any problems.
Two suggestions for improvement: For a 9-night stay, an occasional, quick cleaning of the room would have been nice. Furthermore, the strict check-in time of 3:00 PM was a bit inconvenient for us since we landed early in the morning. A little more flexibility would have been nice.
Thank you for the great stay! And for the delicious mango! 😍 We would come back anytime."
"The room was 48 square meters, but it was too crowded to add a small bed for 3 people. There are no commercial facilities and restaurants around the hotel. The hotel is in the Greek Santorini style and very beautiful. The dining is also good, especially the breakfast is very rich."

"Only the best impressions from staying in a hostel. How to visit a Japanese house with good hosts. 💖 You need to follow the rules so that everyone is clean and comfortable: sort the garbage, do not enter the house in shoes, it's easy. In a separate fenced room there is air conditioning, a clothes hanger, a futon, a pillow and a light blanket, that's enough. There is a shared refrigerator, you can fry toast, shower and toilet separately for men and women. There is a good store next to the hostel, a place for snorkeling, you can buy coffee. From the airport you can get there by bus 7 or with a transfer first by bus 9, then bus 7. If I can, I will come again!❤️"

Outstanding
LLiviaThe hotel is in a good location to explore several regions of the island. Coffee is great and the breakfast options were worth it. The room is spacious and very quiet. The team was friendly and did everything they could to make us feel comfortable. The car we rented broke and they even helped us get the car working again. Thank you so much for your hospitality, we will be back! ありがとうございます :)
YYayayajiezhuI just stayed at a random place for my solo trip and didn't choose Tokyu Hotel near the beach because it was cheap. Although the sea of Miyako Island is indeed very blue and beautiful, this location is right at the cruise terminal where passengers get off. I really thought I was staying at Wusong Wharf, hahaha🤣 And all the rooms are twin rooms! Isn't there a king-size bed room for me to sleep comfortably? And my life is really rigid. It's the off-season and there are not many guests. They neither let me check in early nor check out late. After a lot of chatter, they finally said that it would cost 1,000 yen more for half an hour. I would really thank them.
AAnonymous UserThe hotel balcony looks out to the Sawada Beach. You can see the planes taking off and landing at Shimojijima Airport. You can see the sunset from the restaurant. You can see the stars from the rooftop swimming pool. At night, you can see the Milky Way fifty meters away from the hotel.
There is nothing wrong with it except for the remote location. There are no shops around, and it is not easy to take a taxi. If you want to live here, remember to charter a car or rent a car, otherwise it will be really difficult to move around.
Then, I must praise the staff of this restaurant! Especially the people at the front desk and the restaurant are not very fluent in English, Japanese and gesticulating, but everyone is very energetic, communicates very patiently, and gives us a lot of help. Thank you very much! The service is absolutely perfect!
AAnonymous UserOverall very satisfied.
If you just sleep, it's just the price.
I hope you don't want more.
The only downside is that the entrance to the room is a renovated wooden floor construction.
There's a lot of interstory noise.
Fortunately, everyone is tired after sightseeing and sleeps, and it's quiet after around 23:00.
We recommend sleeping in a sleep without feeling the noise between floors due to a sufficient tourist drink.
GGuest UserIt's close to the city and the port, with plenty of food options nearby. Breakfast is included, and if you're lucky, you can get a sea view from a high floor (I stayed on the sixth floor of Building A this time).
Everything you need for a basic stay is included. Disposable items are available on the first floor, so take as needed.
Because it's so humid near the sea, opening the windows is not recommended. The room isn't large, but it's still accessible after unloading your luggage.
My stay cost about NT$2,400 per night (about NT$1,200 per person for two people sharing), and overall, I think it's a good value.
If you can't tolerate the possibility of moisture buildup, don't stay here (but if you keep the doors and windows closed, it's unlikely to happen. At most, moisture will seep in through the door gap, so dew may form in the entrance area).
AAnonymous UserThe hotel is right next to Taira Port, and the room has a nice sea view. It costs less than 2,000 yen to take a taxi to the airport. There are some restaurants nearby, and there is a Family Mart within one kilometer. It is relatively close to painagama beach (the beach is average). To take the bus to Ikema Island, you need to walk about 15 minutes to the Citizen Theater.
The room is small but has all the necessary facilities, with a sea view of Taira Port, and the bathroom is well waterproofed. The hotel breakfast is also good, with fresh pineapple, orange, raw tuna, Okinawa local breakfast, and common scrambled eggs and sausages. The hotel has a swimming pool, but the whirlpool is empty.
There are only two shared washing machines, washing + drying for 700 yen for 100 minutes. You have to queue during peak hours. The vending machines and microwave facilities are on the 4th floor. The hotel is decorated in an industrial style, which feels good.
The hotel staff is friendly. Check-in and key collection will be after 3 o'clock, but you can check in in advance and store your luggage for free. The hotel does not have Chinese services, and English is also a bit urgent, but they have a translator, so communication is not a big problem.
SSdehuayanglvtuThere are no special facilities, it is cleaned very well, and it doesn't feel very old. Of course, the bathroom does not have a dry and wet separation, which still reflects the sense of age.
There is a shuttle bus on the coast south of Shigira. It is really a big bus. It runs every half an hour during the day and every quarter of an hour after dinner time, making the transportation in this area quite convenient.
There is no FamilyMart or 711 in the entire southern area, and there is no decent beach, including the largest Shigira Beach. The beach in front of the hotel is basically not a beach.
The hotel itself has no recreational facilities, just a very small swimming pool, which is not only small in area, but also less than 1.2 meters deep, basically for children to play. Before noon and before dinner, it will be crowded with Japanese kids who come to travel until there is no space.
Fortunately, there are groups chasing turtles in this area, so it is convenient to go there. To go to other places, such as Yonaha and Ikema Island, you can only drive or take a taxi. It is also difficult to get a taxi at night, and the bus stops after 18:00. So you can play in whichever area you live in. If you charter a car to go around the island, it doesn't feel like you are playing on the island.
But it is still a very quiet choice, a kind of lying down vacation. If you want to have dinner around, you have to make an appointment in advance. There are quite a lot of facilities in the room, and you can also wash clothes.
ししおり旅I shiori TripI want to use it again.
I didn't have a license, so I searched for the location and facilities of the hotel and booked it.
Especially good was that there was a rental cycle, there was a large bath, and it was 10 minutes walk north of Yonaha Beach. I went to Yonaha North Beach to see the sunset, but I could see the best view.
It is more than a business hotel than a resort hotel, but there is everything you need and you don't have to worry. And I was able to rest slowly in the quiet building with a large communal bath.
※ There are no rice shops or convenience stores nearby, but there was a restaurant in the building.
GguuunI used it on a trip with my friends.
Before 15 o'clock, the entrance was completely closed and I couldn't check in early.
Other than that, the room was large, the bed was large, and the amenities were substantial and very comfortable!
