"The hotel is very close to the subway station, at the north exit, but if you want to go to the south exit, you have to go around a circle. If you go directly through, you have to pay 180 yen (I did). I saw that the area near the subway is being renovated, so I guess they are considering the detour. It's really nice to see Mount Fuji upstairs in the hotel, and there is a balcony where you can go in and take pictures."
"The room is small, but perfect for solo traveller. You can get whatever you need in this hotel.
Location is good, you can find lots of different restaurants nearby, and it’s very close to the Mishima station."

"1. Location: The main reason for staying here is that Xiaohongshu says it is convenient to go to Hakone, Kawaguchiko, and Izu. It is true from the map, but it is not convenient in reality.
Mishima is a small place. To go to Hakone, you either take a bus or go from Atami to Obaramachi, which takes an hour. There are no businesses or attractions in the area. I also wanted to find a hot spring but couldn't find one. I suggest staying in Obaramachi directly.
2. The hotel facilities are OK, the apartment is small, and breakfast is included."
"Hotel is near to the Mishima JR station (about 7-10 mins’ walk instead of the stated 3 mins) but it was at the opposite side of the station where all the eateries and amenities were. Could get really dark to walk from the station especially for the ladies.
Public bath/onsen was not bad but the outdoor pool was overhyped. There was a cold pool, sauna too. There are 2 massage chairs. Overall, an dated hotel that serves its purpose for a brief stay with tea and coffee dispenser in the lobby."
"The Fujisan Mishima Tokyu Hotel offers a fantastic base for visitors exploring the Hakone region, with easy access via the nearby Mishima Station. The hotel lobby is on the second floor, providing a welcoming atmosphere with modern decor. One of the hotel's highlights is the hot spring on the 14th floor, featuring panoramic views of Mount Fuji, which many guests find to be an unforgettable experience. The hot spring is highly rated for its ambience and amenities.
Rooms at the hotel are of comfortable size and noted for cleanliness and well-maintained furnishings. The convenience of a bus station in front of the hotel or Mishima Station makes travel around the Hakone area very manageable, allowing guests to explore easily. This hotel is ideal for travellers seeking a balance of comfort, convenience, and an authentic Japanese experience with spectacular views."
"A business hotel with the basic necessities for short stays. Most guests are business travellers, guests on vacation may have to manage their expectation. The 2 lady front desk staffs were very helpful when we enquired about Hakone travel pass. Even with language barrier, they were trying their best to communicate using google translation. Breakfast was delicious, especially the curry rice, only ¥550 per hotel guest.
If you spend most of the time out to visit place of interests and just need a place to shower and rest, this can be an option to consider."
"Retro hotel, bathroom is a public bathhouse, girls can lock the door, the appointment time will put hot water first. Tatami room, the bed is very warm. Breakfast fish is grilled and an appointment time is required. Overall great."
"The breakfast is very good, the meat is very good, the drinks are sufficient, there is a bicycle parking lot, there are drugstores and convenience stores nearby, the hotel gym is also very close, and it is recommended that people who go out to travel"
"There is Max value right next to it, so shopping is not a problem.
There are only two coin laundry units.
You will also need detergent."
