Excellent location with lots of restaurants/eateries and markets around. If one wants to be like local people, bus stations are also very close. Staff is very friendly and everyone is eager to help. Particularly the reception manager Pilar is extremely nice who patiently answered our questions and showed us the directions to the markets and the bus station. Pilar also let us use her bus card so we don't have to buy the card. We had leisure times Lima so we went in/out of the hotel many times during our stay. Every time we passed by the lobby, Pilar would always hail to us enthusiastically. Good bedding, adequate breakfast, quite and spacious room, safe and frige useful for people staying more than one or two days. We read from some previous reviews about noise from street and requested a quite room. Our double room is very quite and we didn't hear any noise. Actually the front street the hotel is facing is not a busy street and we didn't see any heavy/noisy traffic there.

Service was great as usual by the receptionist and really appreciate the warmth and smile from Stefanny. The swimming pool is a heated one so I could swim in it even though it was a cold day. Loved the welcome drinks and the amenities (coffee machine, body lotion, body shower, hand soap, shampoo, thick and soft tissue paper). The beds and pillows are comfortable, there’s a usb charger at the table. It’s a really convenient place near Kennedy park. Note that no cotton pad or cotton buds, toothbrush, shower cap were provided but I am ok with that. Security was really nice too, was waiting for Uber at night by the street and he would walk out to wait with me just to be safe.

Atendimento da recepção terrível. Horário de check in nada a ver, só a partir das 15hs. Cheguei mais cedo e adiantei o check in, mas não pude entrar por ser muito cedo. Saí pra almoçar e voltei às 15hs e mesmo assim demoraram 15 minutos pra liberar nosso quarto. Além disso, nossas malas estavam guardadas e tivemos que esperar outra pessoa chegar pra pegarmos as malas, sendo que tinha duas pessoas na recepção. Ou seja, 30 minutos pra fazer check in, mesmo a gente tendo adiantado os documentos. Na recepção não nos informaram nada sobre horário do café da manhã, senha de wifi, limpeza de quarto, cofre, pontos turísticos, nada, diferente de todos os outros hotéis que fiquei no Peru. Na verdade, não fizeram questão de falar de forma a serem entendidas, diferente de todos os outros atendimentos que recebemos no Peru. Enfim, pra melhorar, o RH do hotel vai ter que fazer algumas modificações pra fazer sentido a hospedagem neste hotel.

We stayed here three times in July 2024 after arriving, between relocations and before leaving Peru. This is a very neat little find: minimalist efficient and lively design, clean, friendly staff and in a great location. Filtered drinking water is available on every floor. The mural in the entry way is beautiful (street art by Rivera)! Breakfast was included for us. A quiet street in the hustle and bustle of the city.

I did not realize it when I booked this hotel, but there are several Jose Antonio Hotels in Lima. I suppose it is something like a Hilton in the US. I was to join our travel group and was coming in early. So long story short, I booked the wrong Jose Antonio Hotel. The staff couldn't have been nicer. I arrived late from the US, and they couldn't find my reservation. The young man at the desk made a few phone calls, and he figured it out for me. I decided to just stay for one night and join the group the next day. The room was large and very nicely decorated. The hotel must be used as meeting and convention space as there are rooms, a very large reception area, and some beautiful artwork. I had a complimentary breakfast in the morning, and the coffee was exception. All in all, I was very happy I stayed there.

This hotel is in a good location, located in the safer Miraflores area, with convenient transportation and convenient travel. This is a business trip. There are no problems for the two men walking on the road. It is close to the seaside and the local shopping centre Larcomar and can be reached in about 10 minutes on foot. The hotel's facilities are old and the rooms are small, but this may be a common problem in local hotels. No air conditioning, we stayed on September 21st, cold and wet, and there was no way to wash the clothes. I have to pay for the laundry. The beauty at the front desk speaks English, the service is warm, and you can also store your luggage for free. It's good!

This elegant and beautifully located, yet homely and welcoming hotel had the most helpful, human, and knowledgeable staff. Whether you need help with a phone call or with finding an authentic local eco-tour guide, they'll be able to sort you out. This hotel also had the most lavish home-cooked breakfasts and gigantic, comfortable beds. The rooms are impeccably clean and the toiletries are luxurious. An excellent base for walks along the Costa Verde. I wish I could live there!

We stayed in this hotel as part of an organised tour travelling around the region. We had a couple of nights here whilst looking at the sights in Lima and then returned for one night before our next stop. The location is great for walking to the shops on the sea front and views. It is also good and an easy walk to Kennedy Square. Mira Flores is where most visitors stay so lots of shops and places to eat in a short walking distance. The rooms in the hotel are quiet and well presented. Breakfast is good but what makes it special was the staff. They looked after some luggage and arranged some laundry for us. All of which was waiting for us in the room on our return. They had a coffee station ready which was great for our early exit for our forward flight.

The staff at the hotel are very accommodating. I am a disabled traveler and use a wheelchair to get around. This hotel is very wheelchair friendly. Our room was very accessible with the exception on a small lip in the shower that made it a little difficult to enter. However the owner did install a hand held shower head to make it easier. We did discuss with her the possibility of removing the lip to make it totally wheelchair accessible. They serve an amazing buffet breakfast every morning with scramble eggs and different meats. Fresh sqeezed juices and sandwiches with sliced fruit.. don't know they manage this with the amazingly low room prices. This hotel was remodeled 2 years ago and the have really made it very nice. If you are looking for a very well located hotel in the heart of Miraflores this is i! My wife's family lives in Lima so this will be our new home away from home when we visit again. Highly recommend checking it out we stayed there for 2 weeks and loved all that was available close by. Miraflores is a very accessible destination for a wheelchair user.

GGuest UserHaving had an all night flight, the Hotel receptionist checked us in as soon as possible. The lobby is beautiful, we felt safe leaving our luggage in a secured area to go and enjoy a delicious breakfast down the street, while our rooms were being prepared. All the staff members were very kind, helpful, professional and had informative suggestions on places to visit. Breakfast, was included in our package, the selections were delicious and if you wanted to order your eggs prepared differently, they took care of that too. The room service selections seemed good, we enjoyed eating at the many different restaurants so we never used the room service. Wifi, works well in the lobby and in the rooms. The pillows, linen, towels and bedroom decorations were great! We felt very safe going out in the evening for dinner or a late night snack.

There are not many choices for breakfast, but there is a self-service coffee machine with different flavors of coffee, which is quite good. The outdoor seating is a plus. The entrance is below the street, and there is an elevator for moving luggage. .

Nella seconda tappa a Lima cambiamo hotel ed un managgia a noi non ce lo toglie nessuno... Struttura molto datata e non troppo piacevole con buona accoglienza e basta. Camere davvero piccole, minimal e poco confortevoli. Gli arredi non vanno commentati previo offese e risentimenti che potrebbero lasciar male la proprietà. Però il letto a una piazza e mezzo potevano evitarlo. Così come l'armadio, così piccolo che quattro paia di mutande lo riempiono a bomba. Insomma, pare la stanza dei due nani, perché sette sarebbero stati scomodissimi. Il riposo è completamente rovinato dal frastuono di una discoteca posta sulla terrazza di un hotel nei paraggi... Quindi la struttura, oltre ad essere brutta e scomoda è pure loro malgrado incasinata. Decente il bagno dove non esiste però un punto di appoggio che abbia questo nome per gli accessori base. È brutto, ma meglio di tutto il resto della stanza e con questo, credo di essere stato delucidante a sufficienza. La colazione servita in camera è davvero inutile. Succhi confezionati di livello più che inferiore, quattro panini non freschi, con una marmellata non fresca e del te al gusto di chi sa che cosa... Mancano oltretutto i coltelli e i cucchiaini che hanno dimenticato tanto quanto hanno dimenticato il concetto di fare gli albergatori. I mandarini invece sono quelli che gli ortolani lasciano per strada alla chiusura dei mercati di quartiere che se non raccolti dai mendicanti, finiscono nei compattatori cittadini. Una roba veramente ridicola!!! ATROCE

We enjoyed our stay at Antara Hotel in Miraflores. The staff are excellent and very friendly. We loved the traditional Peruvian hotel very much. The restaurant was fantastic and we enjoyed trying different dishes they had to offer. We originally were going to stay at a much larger hotel chain and glad we changed to more of a small boutique style hotel on a side street. Our bed was HUGE and i've never seen a bed that large-ha.

AWFUL hotel RUN away from this place. We arrived at 2am and had no choice but to stay the first night because of how late it was but we immediately left in the morning. To start, the room and facilities are DIRTY and look nothing like the photos. The carpet turned my 2 year olds hands, feet, and knees BLACK and turned my feet BLACK with dust, dirt, and hair. The room is dark, outdated, and the walls and carpet is a whole different color. The pool is a joke. The “gym” wasn’t even open and it was 1 machine anyway. The room is so dirty and smells like mold. The sheets smelled like dirty greasy hair and there was pieces of male and female hair in the bed and in the bathroom there was a dirty used shaving razor. The breakfast was nasty and the staff was very rude to us. During a pandemic especially they should not be selling a dirty room to people who paid a lot of money.. this place should be shut down.
