Heaven is, Musket cove. We stayed in musket cove last year and fell in love with the resort. So much so, we decided to make it our annual june holiday. Once again we were so welcomed by the most amazing, friendly and calming staff. Our Bure was a beautiful retreat, that felt quiet, peaceful and authentic. The island is our absolute favourite… the sand paths, immaculate gardens and activity/ entertainment options provided us with a dream holiday. My husband surfed almost daily, while I would go for hikes, run the island trials and explore. Found secluded beaches and lookouts that are more breathtaking than imaginable…. Ziggy and Josie always provided us with refreshment afternoon drinks (without prompting our preference) at the island bar yacht club. Ruth always hooked us up with the best tours, snorkelling trips and activities. Suli, was the biggest vibe. We loved his presence and enthusiasm. We loved our trip (again) so much, we re-booked for august and December/ January. Paradise does exist…
The reason why I chose Romani for the outer islands was because I read the good reviews. It seems that my homework was not in vain. It is cost-effective. I stayed for 2 nights. Although it rained for 2 days, it did not affect my going out. The beach here is not big, the sand is fine, white and clean, and it does not hurt your feet. The water at the beach is clear and shallow. You can see good fish and many sea cucumbers and seaweeds when you go into the water. In the morning, when the tide is low, you can see many seabirds foraging and live starfish. The activities reported to the hotel are free. Time is limited. We reported snorkeling. The 6-minute boat arrived at the coral snorkeling. The corals are numerous and beautiful. I heard that surfing here is also good. Because it rained, I rode a bicycle for a short walk. There are only Western food here. There are not many varieties of breakfast, but they are also exquisite. I booked 2 dinners. The portions are large and 3 people can't finish them. This hotel has only 30 rooms (big enough). There are many staff members, who are enthusiastic and hardworking. The swimming pool is good. After swimming in the sea every day, go to the swimming pool. It is definitely a good place for vacation and honeymoon. I met 2 young Chinese couples here. I will come again, but don't come in the rainy season next time
Stayed for 2 nights and felt that the house was clean. There was no hot water for showering on the first day, but there was hot water on the second day. The living environment is good, you can see the sea from the window, and the hotel has good greenery. The food was generally good. I had four main meals, one was simple, and the other three were rich and self-service, with meat and vegetables, moderately salty. Breakfast is a little simple, with juice, milk, bread slices, etc. You don't have to pay extra for the fried eggs you want. Drinking water is provided for each meal and is provided by yourself. The service attitude is also OK.

Our beachfront private pool bure was amazing and the perfect place to stay for our 25th wedding anniversary. There is no wi-fi in the bungalows and the atmosphere is so peaceful and serene - not to mention the most beautiful views - even when it rained on a couple days. We kayaked out to Rock island for our own private ocean swimming excursion and also did a guided snorkling excursion which was awesome. The staff at Tropica were truly the best - so incredibly caring and thoughtful. We also booked a private dinner out on the pier for our anniversary and they put together an unbelievable vegetarian meal for us. All meals were delicious and there were plenty of tasty vegetarian options. We stayed for six nights and didn't want to leave. If you can make it on a Sunday evening to hear the Tropica choir sing, get ready for a treat! Thank you to Tropica for making our special trip even more amazing than we had expected! Vinaka Vakalevu!!
Chinese family guests, I think 2 to 4 days on the island is not right, it is worth the accommodation experience. The accommodation on the island has its own characteristics, the house is very special, and the sea view is within easy reach. Very shallow beach. Fijian cultural activities with children on the island can participate, hair braiding is 120 RMB and 40 Fijian dollars. Children's buffet is 55 Fijian dollars and 165 RMB. Catering is a problem when taking the elderly, the food is too westernized, and there is no choice. If the elderly have taboos and high blood sugar, please consider carefully. There are 3 restaurants on the island, but often only one is open. The average head consumption is between 240 and 330 RMB per meal. For island expenses, make sure you have cash or multiple credit cards.
When I went to the Maldives, I felt that the natural environment was too ordinary.
The rooms are small and the details show the general management of the hotel.
The front desk bill will be wrong. Please allow enough time for inspection.
Staff service attitude is good, can be five stars.
Go snorkeling five stars on a beach island in the middle of the sea! !!
We are so grateful to everyone at Tadrai for giving us such a special and idyllic holiday. We were lucky to spend 5 nights here and enjoyed every minute. We feel sorry for anyone who had a less than 5 star experience. Our experience was better than 5 stars. The bures are huge and have everything you could need. If you fall asleep with the doors wide open you get to wake up to the most spectacular sunrise and stunning view. You don’t need a sandy beach right at the resort because you can be taken to your own private one every day if you like. Or walk around the corner to a stunning sandy beach if you really need it. Not only that, but the reef out the front of the resort gave me my favourite ever snorkelling experience- the wonderful Freddie took me out as my guide for about 1.5 hours of pure bliss. Speaking of, as many others have mentioned, the staff make this resort so truly special. They work so hard and yet always have energy left over to make you feel so welcome and looked after. I hope the owners know how lucky they are to have such brilliant all-rounders on their team and give them the credit they are due. As a vegetarian, Charles, Sam and Moses went out of their way to make sure I had something I wanted to eat. The food they made was not only delicious but wholesome and healthy. Unlike other all inclusive places, we didn’t leave feeling sick from overly, unnecessarily rich food. We were so well looked after by the fabulous F&B team - thank you Asa, Kasi, Vika, Vani and all the others we didn’t get to meet. The day trips are so luxurious and personalised. A special thank you to Kasi for being our literal hero, and the wonderful Rocky, Api, Masi, Freddie, Tiko and anyone else we missed for the best activities we have ever had on holidays. Thank you to darling Lavenia for the warmest and sweetest welcome and for resolving any minor issues immediately. Thank you to Nancy and Nash for all they did behind the scenes. Thank you to the gorgeous Lela who went above and beyond to look after us and make our room so special. Thank you to awesome Frisco and polymath Sam for serenading us and bringing so much joy. Thank you to dear Carlos for taking such good care of us. And thank you to the countless others including Johnny, Lassaro, Magi, Izzy, (sorry if I got any names wrong!) and all the ones behind the scenes working so so hard so that we could switch off and have the time of our lives. Vinaka vaka-levu, you are all totoka sara xxx
Just came back from Ratu Kini after spending there 4 days with my teenage daughter. We had the family cottage- two rooms with shower and toilet in each and a common area. The cottage was very basic but quite clean and perfect for our needs. Overall, Ratu Kini resort is integrated into a small village, the only one on the island, so plenty of dogs and kids running around. The food was ok, limited choice of menu every lunch and dinner. The prices- same as in NZ or Australia which was a shock to me (min wages in Fiji are 4$!) but it seems that all of Fiji is very expensive for tourists. The staff-very friendly and always smiling, real pleasure. The beach- we were there during the Survivor filming so most of the island was off limits. However, we still had about 3-400 meters of beach and could go around the island on a kayak or a paddle board, just couldn't land on the other beaches. The beach in front of the resort is not the cleanest- plenty of bottles, plastic and broken glass. The snorkeling and swimming was quite nice when the weather was calm. Really enjoyed the snorkeling trip to the Sandbar. Castaway Island was ok. Took Ratu Kini boat both ways. Paul the Captain is fun and a great guy. The boat broke down on the return trip, we had to catch the flight home that evening and also getting stuck in the middle of the sea was not really appealing but Paul managed to get it running finally. Bottom line- we enjoyed our stay but doubt I will be back to Fiji- everything is just way too expensive! SE Asia offers much better value for money.
Phenomenal place to stay and particularly good value. The sunset rooms were lovely and more than adequate, especially being away from the noise of the bar.. The food, though cafeteria serving style, changed enough each time that after 5 days only breakfast got repetitive.
Staff were amazing throughout and so long as you don't need great WiFi you can completely relax.
Make sure you take some good books or a few movies loaded onto your devices though, there's only so much snorkeling and diving I could fill my day with.
Mana island is not so ideal location if you wanna head to Yasawa from Mamanuca. In order to get to Yasawa on the same day, you have to return back to port denarau with south sea cruise at a later timing. If early morning,it is possible to book a small boat through the resort or ratukini hostel nearby to beachcomber island. From there, the south sea cruise with pick you up then straight to yasawa.
The place probably need a bit of fixing, theres hole in our windows net which small rodent may enter. In our case, a small mouse hide underneath our closet in between the small gap.
It be great also, if they provide disposable toothbrush and toothpaste, also change of towels at least 2 days.
But that is just little stuffs. Overall, we really enjoy staying there.Literally every staff was very welcoming. Several things you can do like any good star resort. Recommend to travel to Monuriki island nearby.( aka Cast Away island, site location of Tom Hanks movie)
Very Good
