"We had a great stay at Seda Cebu while traveling with family. The hotel is definitely good value for money, especially with the free breakfast included. The rooms were comfortable, the location was convenient, and the overall experience was very pleasant. Special thanks to Stephen and Camila from the front desk for their excellent service and warm hospitality. Also to Riza and Ana Amante from the breakfast service crew — they were very accommodating, attentive, and made our mornings even better. Highly recommended for families looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in Cebu!"

"Our stay at bai Hotel Cebu was unfortunately disappointing, not because problems happened, but because of how the situation was handled. We understand that operational issues can happen in any hotel, especially during busy periods. However, what upset us the most was the lack of proper communication and service recovery throughout the process. We genuinely felt that with simple communication, transparency, and proactive handling from the team, many of the issues could have been solved smoothly and would not have escalated into such an unpleasant experience. Instead, we often felt left uncertain and unattended during important moments of our stay. As guests, we value sincerity and communication more than perfection, and that was what we felt was missing. To be fair, the management did later respond to our feedback professionally through email and acknowledged the operational difficulties they were facing at that time. We appreciate the response and hope the hotel can improve its coordination and guest communication in the future, because the property itself still has good potential."

"This hotel is a giant family playground! The kids' pool has slides, and they provide all the sand toys for free on the beach. There are daily kids' activities (coral planting/craft classes), and my child loved it so much they didn't want to leave. The Ocean Wing rooms are spacious, the bedding is comfortable, and the balcony with sea views is incredibly therapeutic. The staff are super patient with children, there's a dedicated kids' section at breakfast, and the private beach is safe and clean. It's also close to the airport, so no hassle, and the whole family was happy!"

"The hotel is located on a private island. Getting there isn't too difficult, but all the main attractions (sardines, sharks, canyoneering) are quite a distance away. This hotel seems to have been designed for guests who don't want to leave it – a small 'Bounty island' vibe. But it didn't quite hit the mark. The staff here are constantly smiling. As soon as they see you, they drop what they're doing to greet you. During meals, they approach you every minute to ask questions and tell you about the free 'entertainment' planned for the day. Honestly, it's annoying and doesn't match the status the hotel clearly aims for. In a good hotel, staff are incredibly helpful yet discreet. Here, they can't even clean the room without being noticed. However, you can tell they've been trained this way, rather than it being their natural work style. So, if they were trained differently, these young people would significantly improve the service quality. Also, don't expect quick responses or help from anyone. It's better to go directly to reception and sort things out yourself. That's the most effective way, otherwise, you might drown in a Kafkaesque castle with a British surrealist twist. The room we stayed in was magnificent in terms of size and cleanliness. The shower wasn't working well, but they replaced it quickly. When walking around the room, the wardrobe wobbles and makes noise, but these are minor issues. I noticed signs of wood-boring insects in the safe cabinet, but didn't see the insects themselves, so they didn't cause any trouble. Food. The food here is very poor, compared to all the other places I've visited in the Philippines. A hotel aiming for a high rating shouldn't be serving microwaved store-bought pizza at such a price. If the food is cooked properly (grilled chicken breast, for example), it's invariably oversalted or overspiced. Or both at once. I couldn't find a single dish on the menu that was worth its price or genuinely tasty, except perhaps for the scrambled eggs at breakfast. But that's not enough if you plan to stay on the island all day, is it? Snorkeling costs 1000 pesos per hour for the boat and 100-200 pesos for equipment (each item separate: mask, fins, aqua shoes). The hotel staff claim the equipment is new, but that's not true. Aqua shoes are essentially unavailable in adult sizes (from 40 and up, we found only two old and torn pairs). The coral reef is dying after the typhoon, but there are still beautiful spots, and my wife and I don't regret snorkeling here. Especially since it was the only activity available on the island. To sum up, this hotel might suit those who want to isolate themselves from the rest of the world for a resort-style vacation with an average level of service but rather high prices for that level."

"This is  the real MBS of the Philippines! Top rated from comfort, quality, efficiency,hospitality and very spacious rooms and friendly staffs! Foods for breakfast and in the executive Lounge are superb and sumptuous! You will never feel hungry with your stay and accommodation!I would like to thank their manager ma’am Sherryl who entertained me and upgraded my room to signature room with King Bed as I checked-in late from the airport!Sir Renei who oriented and assisted me to my room!Sir Jaycaro who assisted and accommodated me together with ma’am Leona at Executive Lounge 23. "Stayed at Radisson Blu Cebu for 4D3N and had a generally pleasant experience. The location is very convenient, as it’s just beside SM City Cebu, making shopping and dining easily accessible. Service from the staff was good—they were friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. The food was okay, nothing particularly standout but decent enough. However, we were quite disappointed to find that the swimming pool was closed for renovation, and there was no prior notice about this on their website. It would have been helpful to know in advance, as this affected our overall experience. Considering the price we paid, the stay did not feel like good value for the money, especially with limited facilities available. Overall, it’s a comfortable hotel with a great location and good service, but better communication and value would make a difference."

"A good 5-star hotel with a large pool, private stables, a farm, a small zoo, a wonderful fitness center, a large pool, and an ATV track. The buffet breakfast isn't very varied, but it has everything you need. It's modest, but delicious. The staff is polite, friendly, and welcoming. Prices in the restaurant and spa are extremely reasonable (for a 5-star hotel). There are both guest rooms and separate villas with private pools. The villa is excellent, spacious, with a king-size bed, a bathroom, plenty of windows, a large (for a private) pool, and a beautiful sea view. During our visit, the shoreline was littered with trash, which completely discouraged swimming (thankfully, there was a private pool in the villa, as well as a large shared pool at the hotel). The area was also littered with leaves from the numerous ficus trees on the property. I assume this was due to the recent typhoons, which washed a lot of seaweed, branches, and debris from the sea onto the shore. The hotel staff was actively involved in cleaning throughout our stay. Overall, the hotel grounds are well-kept and attractive, with trimmed lawns and well-maintained trees. The grounds, mind you, are very large, requiring a significant staff to maintain them."

"We chose to stay here a day early after our Bohol vacation because we didn't want to wake up early for the ferry to Cebu Airport. It's about a 50-minute drive from the Cebu pier and 30 minutes from the airport, so the transportation is quite decent. The environment lives up to Sheraton's quality. The hotel seems relatively new, so the facilities are very well maintained, and the views are absolutely stunning. Our room type had two 1.3-meter double beds, perfect for two adults and two children, with one adult sharing a bed with one child. The bathroom is spacious and clearly partitioned, with a well-designed shower, toilet, bathtub, vanity, and storage. The bedroom lighting is excellent, and the night light is a definite plus – just enough light for adults to browse their phones after the kids are asleep without waking them up. Now, for a complaint about the food. We had the dinner buffet at 5cien, and it was, without a doubt, the worst buffet I've ever had. Not a single dish was to my taste. The selection wasn't extensive to begin with, and then the food itself was just bad. It really doesn't justify the price of approximately 235 RMB per person. I tried everything, and it was practically inedible and a waste of ingredients. In the end, I had no choice but to eat the steamed dishes, but even those felt a bit undercooked. Because of that evening's experience, my expectations for breakfast the next day were very low. I didn't dare to hope for anything good, just ate a little and quickly checked out. Breakfast was slightly better than dinner, but that's about all I can say."

"This room type is located in building B, right next to the lobby, making it very convenient to access the breakfast restaurant and water park. The room isn't huge, but the view is quite open. The downside is that it can be noisy; Koreans tend to enjoy the pool until after 9 PM. Also, the hotel is next to a shantytown, and you can even hear chickens crowing in the middle of the night. The coast here is good for snorkeling; the waves aren't too strong, and the water isn't deep. While there aren't many colorful fish, it's still quite suitable for children."
