GGuest UserWonderful resort and staff, it is close to the sea (1 minute walk) and has all the amenities you could need. The resort is suitable for families as the swimming pool will keep them amused, and it is right next to the restaurant so families can eat and relax whilst the children play. Scooter hire had three options, which was enough. Caves are close, and it doesn’t take that long to drive to the furthest cave on the next island (Bukilat - make sure you check tide times and go around high tide, 1hr drive from OHR, and there is a nice boardwalk a few minutes away too). Please note some more remote waterfalls can be very hard to find as you need to trek through jungle, so plan accordingly! I would stay here again, thank you OHR.

GGuest UserLoved the property and the beach. Best snorkeling we did in Moalboal was direct from the resort and we saw turtles and lots of starfish and marine life. The lifeguard Frankie went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing snorkeling experience. Also enjoyed the pool and the location worked perfectly for us as it was away from the hustle and bustle but still close enough to hit the town for dinner each night. Plus, White Beach is a 5 minute paddle away on the kayak. Would definitely come back again

PPlusha443Excellent hotel right on the beachfront. The food was beyond amazing, and the prices were a pleasant surprise. We'll definitely be staying here again on our next trip. However, in the morning, we inquired about getting to a spot where you can swim with sharks – it was only 1.2 km away, but they quoted us 1000 pesos for a taxi!!! We declined, walked out to the road ourselves, and hailed a Jeepney, which took us there – for just 15 pesos! Seriously, folks, 15 pesos!

The Property The location is unbeatable. Having a private beach right on your doorstep is a rare luxury; we loved being able to step out and enjoy the water without the usual crowds. It’s incredibly serene and provided the perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. Exceptional Service What truly set this experience apart, however, was the property manager, Katrina. She did a fantastic job ensuring our trip was seamless. Katrina went above and beyond by handling all of our activity bookings, including: Canyoneering adventures Whale shark tours Her local knowledge and willingness to help made our logistics stress-free. Her service is highly commendable, and she is a massive asset to this property. Verdict Between the stunning, quiet location and Katrina’s top-tier hospitality, I cannot recommend this place enough. We will definitely be back!

It took us quite a long time to figure out what to enter as the destination for ordering a Grab.  I had to ask for details of lockbox as it was not sent automatically. There are few places within walking distance to buy food or supplies. It’s best suited for local guests as it’s difficult to find without assistance. Our Grab driver had to ask a local for the location.  The room had been refurbished well and had the basics for self catering. The ground floor bed was comfortable although you need to stoop to avoid hitting your head.  Suited an overnight stay but was quite far from the airport with traffic heavy in the evening.

GGuest UserIf you are looking for a fancy stay, this isn't it. But if you just need a place to sleep for a very cheap price, Aosmec CampHotel is definitely worth it. It’s perfect for solo travelers or backpackers who are only in Manila for a quick layover or a US Embassy appointment. The ”rooms” are actually indoor tents, which is a unique experience. Even though you're in a tent, the air conditioning in the main area is strong, so it stays cool enough to sleep comfortably. The location is the best part—you are right in the middle of everything, close to malls and transport. Just keep in mind that since it’s a shared space, it can get a bit noisy when other people move around or unzip their tents. If you bring earplugs and don’t mind sharing a bathroom, you really can’t beat the price. For a low-budget stay, it’s a solid 4/5 stars.

TThomas X.A Korean-run establishment in the middle of nothing interesting. The hotel itself is a decent motel with somewhat overpriced and limited bar, very basic (and the same) breakfast and a decent swimming pool. The greatest downside is that it's in the middle of nowhere. There is nothing of any interest within 10 minute walk of it, nor are there any transit options (aside from taxis or trikes). It might be a good option to stay for the dive shops, assuming you're looking for basic and clean, but it's a 15 minute walk to the beach.
