A must is also a trip to the Tarn, about 50 minutes away, whose gorges are best explored by canoe. Already the trip there on the Cevennes panoramic road (Corniche des Cévennes) is an experience. From here you can enjoy wonderful views of the Cévennes mountains before reaching Florac. In autumn and spring the conditions are ideal for hiking.The day of arrival is Saturday or Sunday.
