Hotels near Cat Co 3 Beach, Haiphong

My wife and I went on a free and easy trip to Cat Ba Island in Vietnam. After looking online, we found this place to be really great. The hotel is clean and hygienic, just like back home in China. Most importantly, it's brand new, having opened in 2026. It's a villa-style hotel, very close to Cat Ba town, just over 1 kilometer away. At night, you can go out to buy seafood and have it cooked. If you want to tour the island, you can rent a motorbike from the owner for 150,000 VND per day. The owner also prepared breakfast for us and was incredibly friendly. For Chinese travelers, this is definitely the top choice – you won't regret it. Chinese people don't trick Chinese people!

I went to Haiphong to go to Cat Ba Island, but due to the weather, I couldn't get there. So, I hastily booked this hotel, and it turned out to be great! It was a trip with my mom, and she loved the breakfast, especially the kimchi stew and seaweed soup, haha. The pool was empty, so we had it all to ourselves. The only downside was that we were in a suite, but the carpet was a bit... well. The surrounding area is Vin Town, so there aren't many local spots. Aside from that, it really helped melt away my frustration from not being able to go to Cat Ba. Swimming, spa, and sauna were all 👍👍. Since I couldn't go to Cat Ba Island, I ended up booking a suite and having a staycation. It's a shame I wasted the money on accommodation for Cat Ba Island though ㅠㅠ

Facilities: Equipped with a bathtub and smart toilet, all other amenities are complete and high-end. Cleanliness: Clean and tidy. Environment: Quiet and comfortable. There are also many restaurants, supermarkets, and even bars near the hotel to choose from. Service: Excellent! On the first day, I felt a bit hot by the window during breakfast. After I gave feedback to the staff, they immediately brought a floor fan to improve ventilation. Besides that, the breakfast was also very rich, and the staff even remembered guests' preferences (see pictures for details), which truly surprised me!

The overall atmosphere of the hotel felt welcoming and homely, which made my stay even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend View Point Anh Quan Hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant stay in Cat Ba!

Flamingo Bay Resort in Cat Ba has a fantastic location, making it easy to enjoy the surrounding scenery and nearby attractions. The setting is definitely one of its strongest points. During my stay, there were quite a lot of kids around, which made some areas feel a bit noisy and less relaxing than expected. Also, the outdoor pool was under renovation at the time, which was a bit disappointing since it’s one of the amenities I was looking forward to. Overall, it’s a solid choice for its location, but the experience may vary depending on what you’re looking for in terms of atmosphere and available facilities.

This hotel is very convenient, the room is large, quite clean, the environment is good, convenient for all kinds of travel, a few hundred meters to the beach, the boss is nice and enthusiastic, next time I will come again.

I booked a spacious room for only 450k VND/night, and late check-out was 50k VND/hour. The receptionist was super friendly, and the security guard was nice. The hotel is clean and the location is convenient. Even though there was road construction, I walked, so I still had a shortcut. It's within walking distance to the food area on Le Loi street and Luong Van Can market. There's also a pretty good snail stall near the hotel.

The guy at the front desk was very nice. Motorbike rental was 100k. There were many places to eat nearby, but breakfast was no longer available recently.

I needed a place to stay when the ferries closed due to a typhoon and this was a neat spot to find on short notice. The comment I am making is based on the amount of money being paid for Vietnamese standards so the room has everything you need and the bed is comfortable, however I felt the blanket was quite thin. The menu for food was only in Vietnamese. There are snacks and drinks in the room that are cheap, but I was hesitant on the bottled water when I had seen it was opened already and I wondered if it was just refilled instead of being a new bottle? The reception staff were very kind, helpful and lovely to speak with. The breakfast was small in variety and the English Breakfast I got was what I feel a way to save costs by giving ham instead of bacon? Again only due to the price being paid did I expect something of better quality in some regards. However I am grateful for a place to stay when I was stuck. There are restaurants nearby, a very good western bar with good food and lovely local vietnamese seafood spots. It is in walking distance to the beach.

Most positive point is very useful location! This hotel is closely from bus line, and easy to go to drink to somewhere! So cost and performance is very great! And following picture's bar was very good. I recommend this place to go to drink somewhere.
