There’s a noticeable contrast between the modern appearance of the hotel and the older style of the rooms. That said, the room was comfortable. The bed was great, the shower worked well, housekeeping was reliable, and I had no issues during my stay. The breakfast was good, with a nice variety of options that were consistent every morning. One of the main reasons I chose this hotel was the gym, and it absolutely met my expectations. It’s well-equipped, open 24 hours a day, and it ended up being the facility I used the most during my stay. The swimming pools also looked large and well-maintained, although I didn’t have the opportunity to use them. Overall, I had a very positive experience. The staff were friendly, polite, and professional, and I’d definitely recommend this hotel, whether you’re traveling for business or leisure.

The location is great, super close to Aeon Mall, and a taxi ride costs less than 10 yuan. This hotel is managed by a Japanese investment company, so the service and cleanliness are excellent and top-notch. The staff's English is very good, so communication is seamless.

Flamingo Bay Resort in Cat Ba has a fantastic location, making it easy to enjoy the surrounding scenery and nearby attractions. The setting is definitely one of its strongest points. During my stay, there were quite a lot of kids around, which made some areas feel a bit noisy and less relaxing than expected. Also, the outdoor pool was under renovation at the time, which was a bit disappointing since it’s one of the amenities I was looking forward to. Overall, it’s a solid choice for its location, but the experience may vary depending on what you’re looking for in terms of atmosphere and available facilities.

I booked a spacious room for only 450k VND/night, and late check-out was 50k VND/hour. The receptionist was super friendly, and the security guard was nice. The hotel is clean and the location is convenient. Even though there was road construction, I walked, so I still had a shortcut. It's within walking distance to the food area on Le Loi street and Luong Van Can market. There's also a pretty good snail stall near the hotel.

The guy at the front desk was very nice. Motorbike rental was 100k. There were many places to eat nearby, but breakfast was no longer available recently.

I needed a place to stay when the ferries closed due to a typhoon and this was a neat spot to find on short notice. The comment I am making is based on the amount of money being paid for Vietnamese standards so the room has everything you need and the bed is comfortable, however I felt the blanket was quite thin. The menu for food was only in Vietnamese. There are snacks and drinks in the room that are cheap, but I was hesitant on the bottled water when I had seen it was opened already and I wondered if it was just refilled instead of being a new bottle? The reception staff were very kind, helpful and lovely to speak with. The breakfast was small in variety and the English Breakfast I got was what I feel a way to save costs by giving ham instead of bacon? Again only due to the price being paid did I expect something of better quality in some regards. However I am grateful for a place to stay when I was stuck. There are restaurants nearby, a very good western bar with good food and lovely local vietnamese seafood spots. It is in walking distance to the beach.

Most positive point is very useful location! This hotel is closely from bus line, and easy to go to drink to somewhere! So cost and performance is very great! And following picture's bar was very good. I recommend this place to go to drink somewhere.
