⭐ Review for The Sahil Hotel, Mumbai
I recently visited The Sahil Hotel in Mumbai, and it was a really pleasant experience. The staff were friendly and helpful from the start, and the check-in process was quick. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with everything arranged neatly.
The location is convenient too—close to major areas in South Mumbai, which makes it easy to get around. The food at the hotel restaurant was tasty and had good variety. Overall, it felt safe, calm, and welcoming.

Overall the stay was okay. I expected the place to be a tourist hostel kind of a place, however, the crowd was completely local and they stay there for longtime, looked like they go to their respective offices from that place. Don’t expect tourist crowd there, it unlike those touristy hostels where the crowd is very much happening.
Otherwise, the place was clean, the receptionist uncle is very sweet and cooperative. The helper guys keeps cleaning the dorm. Inmates mind their own business. Bathrooms are clean, that’s most important. I was there for 2 days. I couldn’t find anything bad there. A typical office goers hostel it was. My stay was comfortable.

Great breakfast.
Had a bit of a discussion the day I arrived. Was put in a lower rated room due to not having any non-smoking rooms available. Feedback was ”sorry full”, no solution or offer.
For the rest the hotel was good. Staff was very friendly except check-in lady who forced a lower room.

A rather depressing place, much like Mumbai itself. The building exterior is completely dilapidated, and the surrounding streets and structures look like slums. The hotel is on the 2nd floor, accessed by a steep staircase with no elevator. The hotel itself is clean but quite basic. The rooms are tiny, and the windows are small. It's tolerable, but not for $60 a night. The linen is old but clean, housekeeping is good, and the staff are helpful and always ready to assist, which is a plus. Breakfast consists of two eggs cooked however you like, juice, and tea served in unwashed cups. Verdict: Not worth staying here, even though it's in the city center (and the Taj Palace isn't worth it either – step outside and you're met with squalor, poverty, and rats). It's simply not worth the money. Choose modern chain hotels near the airport and take a taxi into the city center.

This hotel is really good. By Indian standards, it's absolutely fantastic! Everything was clean: the bed linen, the towels. The furniture and plumbing were in good condition, and everything worked perfectly. The location is convenient, very close to a metro station, and you can walk to the most beautiful Victorian-era buildings. The staff are very attentive, always ready to help and answer any questions. For breakfast, they prepared omelets, fried eggs, various pastries, and local dishes – in short, you could get a very satisfying meal.
We weren't entirely lucky with our room (410, on the first floor of the building next to the main one): it had no window and was very humid, so sleeping on a damp bed wasn't very pleasant. We'd wake up in complete darkness even when the sun was shining brightly outside. Also, right next to our door, something was making a lot of noise in the evenings, like a washing machine or some kind of pump. And overall, we could hear conversations, mobile phone calls, etc., very clearly from outside the door. We didn't discover all these drawbacks right away, so we decided not to ask for another room, as we really didn't want to move our things back and forth. But to future guests, I'd like to recommend: if they give you room 410, it's best to immediately ask to be moved somewhere else.

The location is perfect, near the metro. A few minutes and anywhere in Mumbai. Next to you can have lunch, whatever you buy. Staff is kind. All our wishes were quickly decided. The rooms are clean, no insects. The walls are under the plaster, so the guests are where the suitcase is locked or anything else. But the hotel is not guilty of this. Do not overpaint the same rooms after each customer. The room for us was close, but it is our problems. We knew what we were going on. The hotel is good for your money. Thank you!!!!

Very good customer service. Staff were very supportive and accommodating towards my nephew who has Down’s syndrome and couldn’t wear closed shoes because of his surgery. They said it was ok for him to go to the rooftop bar even without dress code

I stayed at The St. Regis Mumbai for two nights last week and had an excellent experience. The check-in process was efficient, and the staff maintained a high level of professionalism throughout my stay. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and offered an impressive city view. Housekeeping was consistent and attentive, ensuring everything was in order without needing to request anything.
Although I did not try the breakfast service, I did visit the bar on the 37th floor, which was a highlight of the stay. The night views from the top were outstanding, and the atmosphere was refined yet vibrant. The service team at the bar was attentive, and the overall experience made for an enjoyable evening.
Overall, The St. Regis Mumbai delivered a high-quality stay with strong service standards and a well-maintained property. I would highly recommend it for both business and leisure travel.

Amazing
AAnnaVVWe stayed for 2 nights at the Taj Mahal Tower. Unfortunately, when booking, there were no rooms left in the main Taj building, so I was a bit apprehensive. However, in the end, we had absolutely no regrets, quite the opposite! All the buildings are connected, so you essentially use the same pool and public areas. You can easily walk to the main building and admire it from the inside. It's a magnificent hotel with superb service, and I'm even a little glad we stayed in the Tower. Firstly, the Tower is taller, which means the Gateway of India is right at your fingertips.
AAnonymous UserHuge spacious room, cabinets/mini bar area were slightly moist.. had the wet wooden smell. Breakfast was okish.
Good for a one night stay if you're heading to the airport the next day. Less than 5mins walking distance to T1. Buggy is avail / staff can help you with your luggage to the terminal. Multiple eateries at the airport too if you're not into proper sit down dining at the hotel.
GGuest UserThe Lalit is very near from airport but very far from the people who stay in it, because all you see there is partiality for the travelers, for few people they ask to wait for the breakfast but for few it’s direct entry no queue, but if you talk about rooms, they’re spacious and has good amenities but food is way too costly to order in room.
GGuest UserEverything is excellent except system of not giving invoice of room rent for 3 days
Hotel people were adament that for room rent only trip.com will give receipt
So this thing never happened in any of hotel. They will give bill even if hotel is booked by trip.com
Person stay in hotel he should be given bill by hotel only
CCheryl UKI requested a very quiet room, and upon check-in, I was assured room 101 was a very quiet room. I really needed to sleep between my 2 flights. As soon as I entered my room, I went to bed and fell asleep, only to be woken up quite soon afterwards by the sound of banging - not sure what it was - drawers, cupboards, doors. Then I heard someone walking around wearing very heavy footwear, so I called reception and fortunately they put a stop to it. But then it seemed like they were doing construction work in the room above me - they started hammering!!! Yes, HAMMERING!!!!! Followed by DRILLING!!!! No chance whatsoever of any sleep! I called reception again, and they stopped the hammering and the drilling. A few minutes of peace, and then the people in room 137 put their TV on at FULL VOLUME !!! It was so loud that the television might just as well have been in my room. I put my dress on over my nighty, and went round to room 137, and asked the young girl to turn down the TV, which she did, for a little while. Zero chance of any rest, zero chance of any sleep. Even though this is an airport hotel, there is NO SOUNDPROOFING, so basically you can hear absolutely everything going on in all the rooms around you.
Staff were very nice, and were always trying to do their best to ensure a pleasant stay, but all this noise is clearly the fault of the senior management. Hammering and drilling are not what one associates with a Hilton airport hotel room!!!!
PPANCHALNice place, Nice location.
Justify it's name as Resort.
Inside they have their own atmosphere. Children play area is very Vell designed & really Children can use the same (Without hesitation from Management). Staff & Management are co-operative. Food & View also cool.
GGuest UserPlus point of this hotel is location and it’s opposite of Marine Drive and next to Mumbai Crickets stadium and staff are very supportive and room and bathroom are very clean only disadvantage is no restaurant and I ordered from outside hotel and Zomato and NO Parking available, I had to park in pay parked area near Church Gate station around 1km far from hotel , but if no car then very good hotel
AAnonymous UserI stayed for 2 nights on Friday and Saturday. The first floor was a club, and the music was echoing with a lot of explosions from around 20:00 to around 26:00. Recommended for club lovers.
It is good because it is close to India gate and each tourist attraction, but it is painful in the lack of sleep.
The window in the room is not key. Easy to intrude.
The bathroom is so water pressure in the shower, the window is not completely closed, and there is no net door and the insect is easy to enter.
No toilet paper. No toothbrush. There is body soap and shampoo. No conditioner.
Breakfast is not rich in variety, but not bad.
The breakfast venue is quite difficult to understand.
The breakfast venue staff is blunt, but it is effective and kind.
In the morning, there was a newspaper at the entrance of the room.
The hotel corridor and stairs are relatively clean.
There is a PC work desk, but the chair is high.
GGuest UserIts just 5 min walking from sakinaka metro station. My stay was for 2 days. Rooms are small & but okay for solo person. For normal drinking bottle, they charged rs 30, when i asked person, he told- on this rate only they can provide. Nothing great to tell.
