Anonymous UserThis hotel is very close to Wanchai MTR station. After taking the cross-border bus directly to Wanchai MTR station, it's just a few minutes' walk away. Dining and shopping options nearby are very convenient. The room is spacious, making it a great value-for-money hotel. I was happy to get an upgraded room upon check-in. They provide two complimentary cans of drinking water, but remember to bring your own toothbrush and slippers as they are not provided. You can store your luggage after checking out.

The hotel's location is excellent, making it convenient for getting around and finding food. Taking the A21 bus from the airport drops you right at the hotel entrance. We stayed for four nights and were upgraded to a larger room. The cleanliness was impeccable. The only downside was that the air conditioning was too cold; we had to turn it off every night to sleep, but it never got hot.

amazingyenI had a wonderful stay at WAKE Concept Hotel during my recent trip to Hong Kong. The location is excellent, just a short walk from Yau Ma Tei MTR Station, making it very convenient to explore the city, visit attractions, and find local restaurants nearby.
The hotel has a modern and stylish design, and the room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Although the room size is compact, which is common in Hong Kong, the layout is efficient and provides everything needed for a pleasant stay. The bed was comfortable, and the amenities were good.
The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and the overall service exceeded my expectations.
For travelers looking for a clean, convenient, and good-value hotel in a central location, WAKE Concept Hotel is an excellent choice. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Hong Kong.

Unplugged Across TownOur second visit here... If your check-in is delayed (mine was by an hour), stay calm—staff are attentive, but sometimes busy. Light still creeps in through the blinds, so bring a sleep mask if you need total darkness (staff suggested, though personally an uncomfortable option for me). Housekeeping is helpful, but if you're not happy with your room (like I wasn't), push for a change at reception. It may take patience and persistence, but the second room was way better, though be sure to check cleanliness—my new toilet still had some stray hairs.
Cooking facilities on every floor—shop locally, eat cheaply! Quick access to nearby stores and local eateries. Self-service laundry for longer stays. Cozy common area to relax and mingle.

Overall, the hotel is pretty good and offers good value for money. The subway station is right next door, making it very convenient to get to the city center and the West Kowloon High-Speed Rail Station. There are also several large shopping malls, markets, and supermarkets nearby, so shopping is a breeze. The hotel breakfast is mainly Western, sufficient to fill you up, but not very varied. A major inconvenience was the lack of complimentary bottled water. We had to go downstairs to buy our own, and the water from the vending machine downstairs wasn't cheap either – 2 bottles for 20 yuan. If it's for environmental reasons, they could at least provide water dispensers for guests to refill their reusable bottles. This really made the hotel feel inconvenient and less guest-friendly, which was quite uncomfortable.

DanniugegeFacilities: Comprehensive, includes a fridge, table and chairs, and a large bed.
Hygiene: Good, the cleaner is very helpful and comes daily to empty the rubbish.
Environment: Staying on a high floor, it's quite quiet.
Service: All hotel staff have good service attitudes.
I frequently visit Hong Kong and always stay at this hotel. Although it's not large, it's clean and well-equipped with amenities, including disposable toiletries and drinking water. The main advantage is its proximity to Causeway Bay, making travel and shopping convenient. This time, Trip.com even included breakfast, which I was happy with.

Guest UserA rare find in Hong Kong, a triple room that was perfect for three adults and one child. The two single beds pushed together worked out great. The hotel overlooks the racecourse, but unfortunately there wasn't a race on during our stay. The shuttle bus to Causeway Bay MTR is super convenient, running every 30 minutes. We even got a gift upon check-in! I'd definitely choose this hotel again for my next stay.

Anonymous UserA simple and practical hotel great for a short stay
Overall, this is a good and clean hotel, especially if you are staying in Hong Kong for a short trip. The room is quite small, so this is definitely something to keep in mind. If you are traveling as a couple, I would strongly recommend choosing two separate beds. The beds are quite narrow, and sharing one would probably be uncomfortable. We realized this right away and decided to take two separate beds, which worked much better for us.
The room is too small for a proper desk or much additional furniture, so it is not really designed for spending a lot of time inside. For a short stay, however, it is perfectly fine. One thing I really liked was the air conditioning - it worked very well. There is also a ceiling fan that can be switched on separately, which is a nice little extra. The hot-water heater and bathroom exhaust fan can also be controlled separately, and even the power outlets can be switched on and off individually. Everything is quite practical and customizable.
The staff were friendly and helpful, and they explained all the facilities and features available in the room. There is also free drinking water available in the corridor. Personally, I didn’t really like the taste and decided to buy bottled water instead. Interestingly, bottled water from the small shop downstairs was much cheaper than buying drinks at 7-Eleven, where prices for food and beverages can be surprisingly high.
The room itself was clean and tidy, although I did notice a few small stains on the bed linen. They also provide disposable toothbrushes and some very unusual towels. They are not traditional fabric towels, they come individually packaged and feel more like a thick piece of gauze. It’s definitely unusual, but surprisingly, they absorb water quite well. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for a short stay in Hong Kong, especially if you mainly need a clean and functional place to sleep. The room is simply too small for a long stay, particularly for a couple, but for a few nights it works very well.
Simple, clean, practical, and reasonably comfortable. just make sure you are prepared for the very limited space.

Guest UserThe room facilities were a bit old, but the size wasn't small, and it was enough for three people. Plus, there was a free shuttle bus to the MTR station the next day. Although they didn't provide free drinking water, the purified water from the vending machine downstairs was only 3 HKD, which is already considered a good deal for water in Hong Kong. Overall, a positive experience!
