Located in a hutong near Andingmen, it's relatively convenient to get around, and wandering through the hutongs offers a glimpse into old Beijing life. However, the hygiene was just okay. There was noticeable dust on the sofa and in the corners, and the duvet cover had a slight odor. Only basic toiletries were provided, and the ventilation and dehumidifying functions in the bathroom weren't working. Overall, considering the price, it's suitable for a simple stay, but if you have higher quality expectations, you might want to look elsewhere.

The shower was spacious, the room was quiet, and the bed was very comfortable. The facilities, including the AC and fresh air system, were all excellent. The service was also great; they even extended my check-out by an hour on my last day. The breakfast was rich and clean – I highly recommend booking a room with breakfast included. Make sure to book a twin room, as it's a bit larger than the king room. The hotel is very close to Ditan Park and Yonghe Temple, and the 141 bus provides easy access to the Forbidden City.

This might not be the most expensive hotel I've ever stayed in, but it's definitely where I've slept the most comfortably. The hotel is very close to the bustling Nanluoguxiang and Yonghe Temple. The room was extremely clean and quiet, with a nostalgic style that made me feel grounded and peaceful. Being in the hutong, you really get a feel for the capital's alleyway life, and everyone was so nice! The service was absolutely top-notch; I forgot something when I checked out, and the front desk contacted me and mailed it back for free! I love it so much ❤️!

The hotel's location is excellent, just a 5-minute walk from Beixinqiao subway station. It's even more convenient if you're coming from the airport, as you can take the subway directly to Beixinqiao station. If you want to explore Nanluoguxiang, Guijie (Ghost Street), or Houhai at night, you can even walk! This is a well-established five-star hotel that's quite standard, with spacious rooms. The breakfast selection is also quite rich. Overall, it offers great value for money. In short, it's a good choice for a trip to Beijing. Because Beijing is so vast, convenient transportation is a top priority.

Really, really nice! Everything from the service to the hotel's location and quality was excellent. The only minor downside geographically is that it's not close to a subway station. However, there are lots of old alleys nearby with many lively street food stalls, full of local flavor. If you're not absolutely set on being right next to a subway, I highly recommend it. On the first day, they upgraded us to a suite for free even though we hadn't requested an extra bed. On the downside, the foldable bed was really uncomfortable to sleep on. I suggest improving the quality of the foldable beds; they honestly don't match the overall quality of this hotel.

Exceeded expectations! Didn't realize there was such a great hotel tucked away in a hutong. Facilities: The highlight is definitely the courtyard with free parking – unbeatable within the 2nd Ring Road, though navigating the narrow hutong lanes might test your driving skills. Cleanliness: Excellent, as always. Environment: Within walking distance to the Bell and Drum Towers, Nanluoguxiang, and Yonghe Temple – fantastic location. The massive pagoda tree in the courtyard is spectacular, and the lobby exudes quality. Especially loved the window in my room, with the ancient tree beautifully framed – simply stunning! Service: Warm and attentive! Five-star service.

We stayed at the Manxin Mansion Nanluoguxiang Beijing during the Chinese New Year with our child, and it was a wonderful experience. Tucked away in a hutong, this hotel is a charming, ancient-style courtyard that offers a peaceful escape from the bustling city, exuding a strong old Beijing charm. The location is superb; Nanluoguxiang is right outside the door, and it's very close to Shichahai and the Drum Tower, making it super convenient for kids. The service was incredibly thoughtful. They not only proactively provided kids' slippers and toothbrushes but were also very warm and welcoming to our child. The room was clean and comfortable, with modern facilities and excellent heating, making our stay very pleasant. The breakfast featured freshly made Zha Jiang Mian and other Beijing snacks, which our child absolutely loved. My only small note is that since the hotel is deep in a hutong, vehicles can't drive all the way in, so you'll need to carry your luggage for a short distance. However, this is a minor inconvenience compared to the overall excellent experience. I highly recommend it for families!

Location was convenient. It's right by Tiananmen Station. A short walk from Tiananmen Square. About 30min walk to the Forbidden City and 40min walk to Jingshan Park. Very nice hotel, too bad it was under renovation and the garden was not accessible. Windows in my room were blocked by constructions so there were nothing to see. They do have a laundry room with two dryers and two washers.

GGuest UserYou can walk to Tiananmen Square for the flag-raising ceremony, it's about a 25-minute walk. The Temple of Heaven is also very close, and Qianmen Street is right around the corner, which is super convenient. The only slight drawback is that you have to walk a bit to catch a taxi as the location isn't ideal for ride-hailing apps.

GGuest UserThe hotel has a very strategic location in the heart of Wangfujing, surrounded by lots of shops and great food options. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and some of them could speak good English, which made communication much easier. One of the best features was the robot service that delivered our online food orders and packages directly to the room — very convenient and modern! The hotel was also very clean, and the towels were replaced every day. They also provide a free self-service laundry room, which was really useful during our stay. Overall, we had a very satisfying experience and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Beijing.

We needed help forwarding our stored luggage to Hohhot, and Mr. Don Chao was incredibly helpful. He coordinated everything professionally and kept us updated until our bags arrived safely. The level of trust and helpfulness we experienced here is world-class. If you are looking for a hotel that truly looks after its guests, this is the one. AAnonymous UserWhat a pleasant surprise! Every detail in the room made us feel incredibly comfortable. My son especially loved the setup of the lounge area; the wall art and lighting were perfectly matched, creating a stylish ambiance. The kitchen was an absolute bonus, fully equipped with a Siemens dishwasher and washing machine, and all the dishes and pots were neatly organized. Traveling with a child, I didn't have to worry about a thing – it was so convenient to prepare baby food or warm up meals for him. It truly felt like home. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Beijing!

GGuest UserThis was my first stay at the Grand Millennium Beijing, and it exceeded my expectations by far. It wasn't overly crowded, so it felt very peaceful and quiet. The swimming pool is a major highlight, integrated seamlessly with the gym on a different floor, creating a spacious, high-ceilinged area with a Southeast Asian vibe. I encountered many Hong Kongers there, from business travelers in the elevator to an elderly couple in the executive lounge; they were all very humble and friendly. The surrounding area boasts a wide variety of restaurants, and the Fortune Plaza Mall is practically a canteen for Beijing's white-collar workers. The night view is also top-notch, with the CCTV Headquarters lit up beautifully. A pleasant surprise was bumping into a celebrity while working out – the 'rooster among roosters,' haha. The Grand Millennium is fantastic, giving me every reason to return. The male manager who handled my check-in was very gracious, and the service was just perfect.

MMay CinThe hotel is old, but the location is very convenient for those of us who use public transportation, as it is very close to the metro station. I stayed here for a couple of days at the beginning of my trip and then traveled to other places. When I returned to Beijing, I chose to stay at this hotel again because the staff are very friendly. One staff member named Xiaosong (小松) kindly helped us carry our luggage to our room, as we were assigned to stay upstairs where there is no elevator. His offer of help was greatly appreciated and made our stay much more comfortable.
