This hotel is great for a solo traveller, its is conveniently near most attractions. The staff at the front desk was very friendly, they assisted with a 4hour early check in, as well as a late checkout. Right outside the hotel is a bus station, and if you prefer taxis they are not hard to find.

Very nice hotel with helpful staff. They offer luggage storage, daily housekeeping, and the room was clean, very spacious, with a comfortable bed, hot shower, and large windows with big curtains. The only downside, though it might be on us, is the location. It’s hard to realize how massive Beijing is until you’re there. Even with good metro connections, it still takes quite a bit of time to get around, and there’s not much to do within walking distance, especially in the evening. Other than that, the hotel was great, and the money we saved was well spent on Didi and the metro to get into the center.

Summary: I booked a one-night stay at the Citigo Hotel Beijing 798 Art Zone after seeing an IHG WeChat promotion in early April for its grand opening in Greater China. Despite the name, the hotel is almost 1km in a straight line from the 798 Art Zone. 'Citigo Hotel Beijing Jiuxianqiao' would be a more fitting name. It's a rebranded Citigo hotel. It's located on a main street, making parking difficult. They said I could park in the back park, but I needed to contact the hotel in advance. I booked a standard king room through Ctrip for April 11th. I arrived at 2:30 PM, and there was a line for check-in and check-out at the front desk, so I had to wait a bit. Next to the front desk were six kinds of candy; the coconut candy was particularly delicious with a rich coconut flavor. There were also carrot noodles and purple sweet potato noodles available for late risers. The lobby is small, with some seating on either side of the front desk. Guest Room: I booked a standard king room on Ctrip, but the front desk said it was a twin room during check-in, so there seems to be a system discrepancy. When assigning the room, they said only room 8301 was left and offered for me to check it out first, with the option to change if it wasn't suitable. I went up and found 8301 was the first room off the elevator and facing the street, so I went back down to request a different one. After a short wait, they assigned me room 8216, which was located more towards the middle and didn't face the street. The front desk also mentioned that the owner is in the window business, so the soundproofing of the windows is quite good. This Citigo hotel only offers king and twin rooms. Slightly more expensive rooms come with a refrigerator, and the deluxe rooms are a bit larger. My room was a 'half-grade' upgrade; the front desk mentioned that the drinks and water in the mini-fridge were complimentary. The room was advertised as 28 square meters, and it felt about right. It still uses the traditional key card for power. Although the room uses LED strip lighting, the brightness was sufficient. Upon entering, there's a small table and sofa to the right, and a small cabinet to the left. The cabinet has a mini-fridge with two bottles of mineral water, Sprite, and Coke. The nightstand to the left of the bed is quite large and multi-functional, with disposable slippers stored openly underneath. There's also a small nightstand on the right side of the bed. The curtains and sheers are intelligently controlled. Outside, it faces the 506 Innovation Park. The TV is a large Konka and is quite close to the bed. The bathroom area isn't very large. The toilet is on the left, the shower on the right, with the vanity and open wardrobe in the middle. The hairdryer is a VGO brand with strong airflow. The room doesn't have disposable toiletries. The front desk provides toothbrushes and toothpaste during check-in. There's hand soap and lotion by the sink. The three-piece set in the shower and the two-piece set outside are all from 'handhandhand,' with a woody, smoky scent. The shampoo doesn't leave hair feeling dry, but the lotion is a bit mediocre and hard to rub in. The showerhead has clear instructions, but the hot and cold temperature adjustment knobs are reversed. The shower drain had a noticeable blockage, which housekeeping likely overlooked. The welcome fruit platter arrived about half an hour after check-in. They initially said a robot would deliver it immediately, but in the end, it was delivered by housekeeping. The fruit platter was decent and varied, including blueberries, cherry tomatoes, tangerines, bananas, apples, and ginseng fruit. However, the ginseng fruit had bite marks on it. Dining: Breakfast is from 7 AM to 10 AM, located on the hotel's 2nd floor, directly to the right after exiting the elevator, opposite the gym. You can access it by swiping your room card or providing your room number. I arrived a little after 9 AM, and the breakfast area was quite busy. Besides the noodle station, the only staff member was the attendant at the entrance who recorded room numbers, who also happened to be the same person who checked us in the day before. The previous day, a vote by the elevator had selected 'Zhajiangmian' (fried sauce noodles), so I had high expectations. However, reality often brings more disappointment with high expectations. The Zhajiangmian noodles weren't firm or smooth enough, and the sauce, which you served yourself, was cold and lacked meat flavor, though it was salty enough. The Citigo beef noodles were equally unremarkable; the soup was very bland, and while it came with two large slices of beef, the noodles themselves were mediocre. In the beverage area, there were no cups available. I informed the staff member at the entrance, but the issue wasn't resolved for a long time. I'm unsure if the hotel is severely understaffed or if there's another reason. The pastries included small cakes, croissants, and sandwiches. The vegetable salad bar had limited options. The hot dishes mainly consisted of stir-fried greens, shredded potatoes, and celery with wood ear mushrooms.

I was very satisfied with the breakfast at this hotel. The dining area was uncommonly spacious, with tables set far apart, which really gave a sense of comfort. The restaurant itself was clean and tidy, emphasizing simplicity. As for the food, it was right up my alley. The stir-fries and congee, for example, changed daily and tasted delicious. The staff were friendly and polite, making dining here a truly pleasant experience where I not only enjoyed great food but also felt well-treated.

This hotel is really convenient for the airport; you just turn a corner and you're on the airport expressway. It's an ideal location if you have an early flight the next day for a business trip. Pros: Newly opened, good value for money. The environment is great, and the bedding is comfortable. There's a supermarket and restaurants downstairs, and it's close to the subway station. Cons: The small table next to my bed had some snot left by the previous guest, which was quite disgusting. The laundry room clearly stated no socks or underwear, but some people still threw them in. Luckily, the washing machine has a self-cleaning cycle, so it wasn't as bad. Overall, it's still pretty good. I recommend staying here.

GGuest UserFinally checked in to the highly anticipated Citigo! The room was small but the facilities were super clean and comfortable. A few small details stood out: 1. The slippers were thick-soled and incredibly comfy. 2. The bottom of the shower curtain was surprisingly clean! 3. They even provided three latex pillows 😂. 4. You can check the availability and time for the washing machine and dryer on their mini-program or app. 5. The lobby was super cool. In summary: small but perfectly formed!

GGuest UserThe hotel has a very strategic location in the heart of Wangfujing, surrounded by lots of shops and great food options. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and some of them could speak good English, which made communication much easier. One of the best features was the robot service that delivered our online food orders and packages directly to the room — very convenient and modern! The hotel was also very clean, and the towels were replaced every day. They also provide a free self-service laundry room, which was really useful during our stay. Overall, we had a very satisfying experience and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Beijing.

GGuest UserGot an upgrade! This trip was such a pleasant surprise. The staff here are absolutely wonderful. The location is superb, right on Qianmen Street, with a Lawson convenience store just across the road. It's on the central axis of the city, and you can walk to Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, and the National Museum in about ten minutes – everything is so close! This made my trip incredibly convenient. When you're traveling, a good location is key, and since it's off-peak season, the price was great. Definitely excellent value for money. The staff are also fantastic and truly think of their guests; they even helped me cancel a more expensive booking to get a cheaper one.

IIris-kaI recently stayed at the Grand Concordia Hotel and had a memorable experience. We booked two double beds, which, while comfortable, were a bit on the smaller side for a family of four. The hotel has an old-world charm that creates a unique vibe; it's definitely a place with character! One of the highlights was the breakfast spread, which was impressive and offered a variety of options to start the day right. We particularly enjoyed the fresh fruits and local delicacies. The swimming pool was another fantastic feature. It’s worth noting that you need to wear a swim hat, which they sell for 20 CNY. The pool area was well-maintained, and we made good use of it during our stay. Overall, Grand Concordia offers a blend of history and modern amenities that made our trip enjoyable. I would recommend it to those looking for something a bit different in Beijing.

AAnonymous UserWhat a pleasant surprise! Every detail in the room made us feel incredibly comfortable. My son especially loved the setup of the lounge area; the wall art and lighting were perfectly matched, creating a stylish ambiance. The kitchen was an absolute bonus, fully equipped with a Siemens dishwasher and washing machine, and all the dishes and pots were neatly organized. Traveling with a child, I didn't have to worry about a thing – it was so convenient to prepare baby food or warm up meals for him. It truly felt like home. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Beijing!

GGuest UserThis was my first stay at the Grand Millennium Beijing, and it exceeded my expectations by far. It wasn't overly crowded, so it felt very peaceful and quiet. The swimming pool is a major highlight, integrated seamlessly with the gym on a different floor, creating a spacious, high-ceilinged area with a Southeast Asian vibe. I encountered many Hong Kongers there, from business travelers in the elevator to an elderly couple in the executive lounge; they were all very humble and friendly. The surrounding area boasts a wide variety of restaurants, and the Fortune Plaza Mall is practically a canteen for Beijing's white-collar workers. The night view is also top-notch, with the CCTV Headquarters lit up beautifully. A pleasant surprise was bumping into a celebrity while working out – the 'rooster among roosters,' haha. The Grand Millennium is fantastic, giving me every reason to return. The male manager who handled my check-in was very gracious, and the service was just perfect.

I stayed here for a couple of days at the beginning of my trip and then traveled to other places. When I returned to Beijing, I chose to stay at this hotel again because the staff are very friendly. His offer of help was greatly appreciated and made our stay much more comfortable.
