"The hotel's facilities and environment are very good. The only thing that makes me angry is that when we checked in, the waiter asked us where we were from. The answer was China. The service attitude suddenly became bad, the smile disappeared, and the room we were given was in the corner with obstructed view."

"The environment and rooms are amazing! It's like living in a private manor, with a heated swimming pool, a huge courtyard lawn, and wild fruits. I strongly recommend that my compatriots come and experience it for one night. It is not a hotel in the downtown area, but to experience the real comfortable life of the locals."

"Renovated and conveniently located hotel. The service was good and the room was comfortable. Unfortunately, in our room, the kitchen exhaust hood was not working and there were no windows that could be open, the only large window was fixed and without an opening option, so only for light. Every time we would cook, the whole room would fill up with smoke and it was just not nice."

"Holiday Inn Queenstown Remarkables Park is a top notch hotel, just 5 minutes drive from the airport. If you want a quick rest from a long journey this one should quickly come to your rescue from travelling fatigue.
Everything about the hotel is good including friendly staff. The only drawback is its location which is a bit far from town or main activities. If you don’t have a car then surely you should be prepared to Ubar and Tax every time you want to go out."

"Google navigation is a bit inaccurate, this hotel is at the very edge. Parking is easy and free of charge. The front desk will give you a slip and put it on the front windshield.
The hotel is quite new, and the paintings inside are very artistic. The room is large overall, but the dining table and single-seat sofa are a bit small. The water pressure was great and the hot water came quickly, but unfortunately the towel rack was not heated.
The washing machine is in the kitchen. It’s a Samsung model. It can wash, dry and dry all at once, but it’s very time-consuming. A full kitchen, tableware and various tools are available. The bed was comfortable and big enough!
I will choose this place next time I come, it is better than Ramada."

1) Close to Queenstown Airport and city center
2) Close to eateries and supermarket
3) Staff are courteous, professional, and knowledgeable
4) Clean rooms, comes with a fridge, water pressure is great
The Bad:
1) Front Desk not 24 hours, closes after 8pm
2) Not even a small work desk, and totally NO USB ports to charge phones or tablets
3) Not really value for money with such amenities"

"Doubletree was a last minute decision upon arriving Queenstown from Mt Cook. Although it is pricey, no regrets getting a room here for 2 nights. It came with a fully furnished kitchenette where you could do some cooking but didn't utilize this since we ate out. One peeve I don't understand is the need to pay for parking since onsite (NZD$ 16 per nite). There's ample parking and for guests that drive in, this should be complimentary for stay duration.
Location is outside of Queenstown but water taxi available from hotel dock. Recommend for the environment and fantastic room but giving 3 stars for facilities due to need to pay for parking.
Location by the lake allows peace and quiet and also wildlife encounters. Front desk staff during checkin time was very attentive and helpful as well."
