The Woodpecker (#33) is a cozy, rustic 2 story, 3 bedroom 2 bath log cabin that offers all of the comforts and features of home. We are set here under the pine trees up on Vito Road in Diamond Point, in the Lake George valley of the Adirondack Mountains, on the west side of Lake George. The Woodpecker is situated on the traditional style family mini-resort known as the Adirondack Diamond Point Lodge, 5 acres of cabins, pool, games, bonfire pits and opportunities for family fun! The interior is finished on the first floor with vertical pine boards, adding a rich look and traditional feel, complete with a LP gas burning cast iron stove, full kitchen, first floor bath, living room, dining area, washer & dryer, private bonfire pit with Adirondack chairs, picnic table, charcoal BBQ grill, flat screen TV, A/C and Free high spped WiFi. Our master bedroom features a vaulted ceiling and aqueen bed along with an ensuite bathroom that includes full tub. Bedroom 2 has a KING size bed, and bedroom 3 has two twin beds. Sleeps up to 6 people in beds with a roll away bed option on the first floor level that accommodates a 7th Guest. While we rarely recommend a roll-away bed for adults seeking a very comfy bed, they are often perfect for teens and kids. Please let us know if you plan to bring a 7th guest. This chalet is a part of the Adirondack Diamond Point Lodge, with seasonal amenities that include pool, game room, and outdoor activities.The spaceThis is our most popular A-frame style chalet, a two-level accommodation overlooking the resort, set privately on the hill. This spacious home features two bedrooms and sleeps 6. The top floor has a queen hickory log bed and two twin log beds, easy chair and hanging swing seat. The larger main floor master has a queen hickory log bed. On the main floor there is a full kitchen, living room (smart TV with Hulu, Roku, etc), one bath and an elevated deck with an outdoor gas fire-table and patio seating. The chalet has quaint Adirondack charm and offers full access to all amenities at the resort. The main floor level is the middle story of the A-frame, and the entrance to this and the deck is accessed via a set of stairs. It is not a ground floor level. The middle-floor level deck is a smaller space, and includes a gas fire table and Adirondack chairs for 4. On the inside, the first-floor level includes a kitchen, dining area, living room, bath with tub/shower, and a bedroom with a queen bed. The chalet is heated and cooled by a brand new ductless mini-split system. The space is well appointed in the Adirondack style and offers the comforts of home. Parking is located near to the cabin.
