The location of this hotel is excellent, very close to tourist attractions near Dianchi lake and Xishan (West mountain). Hotel staff are friendly and keen to assist. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. There are a few hot spring pools available for hotel guests to enjoy. And swimming pool, etc. I am quite happy with the stay at this hotel. Highly recommended!

the hotel is good for my family of 4, spacious and clean. staff is also helpful and accomodating, allow me to store luggage at lobby after check out. Decent breakfast, like the soy milk a lot. if there is one thing i would suggest, is to sticker out the bottom of glass shower screen and toilet, for more privacy even though within one family.

Booked this hotel as we had an early morning flight back to Singapore. Our booking included a free shuttle to the airport, which we booked upon our check-in. The ride to the airport was fast and safe. Unfortunately, there wasn't a free shuttle to/from the train station, so we took a taxi directly. Huge compliments to the concierge team! They were prompt in answering my queries on the delivery address as I planned to order some stuff from Taobao. My items got shipped to the locker instead of the concierge counter, and I was concerned I wouldn't have time for collection since we were scheduled to arrive at 11pm and check-out in a few hours at 4:30am. Upon my request, the concierge team was helpful and efficient in assisting to collect my items and had them ready for me upon check-in. The welcome cookie was a nice touch and the room was a great surprise as it was very clean, bright and included a bathtub which we didn't have time to use. Once again, many thanks to the concierge and reception team for your prompt assistance! It was a short few hours but a great experience at DoubleTree by Hilton Kunming Airport!

The price is quite affordable, compared to hotels in Dali and Lijiang, the price of Vienna is less than half, the key room area is larger and the breakfast is more abundant, not far from Dianchi Dam and Kunming Old Street, especially thanks to the hotel, the room we booked originally had no breakfast, planned takeaway or go out to eat, Unexpectedly, the hotel provided breakfast for free and it was very rich. The staff is also helpful whenever we need anything. It’s close to the railway station, we had no problem dragging our big luggages & walking to the railway station at 6am it’s around 10-15minutes walk depending on your pace.
