Best Kitakyushu Hotels

"Absolutely thrilled! When I was booking, I saw the hotel was quite old, and some customer photos made me worry it might be run-down. I hesitated a lot, but its incredibly convenient location ultimately swayed me to book. Turns out, after checking in, it was far better than I ever expected! First off, the location is unbeatable. You can take an elevator directly to the hotel from both the first and third floors of the train station. From the 7th-floor lobby, an escalator takes you straight down to Amu Mall. And especially in summer, being able to go in and out without ever stepping into the scorching sun? A true lifesaver! Facilities: Not dated in the slightest; it doesn't show its age visually. While the rooms aren't huge and the amenities are simple, they are extremely clean, and the bed was very comfortable! Service: Excellent and very friendly. Self-service luggage storage is also available, which is incredibly convenient! Honestly, it's wonderful! This will absolutely be my first choice for future visits to Kokura."

"Location of hotel is very good, Level 2 has a sheltered walkway linked to Kokura station. When exit from the door, turn right to take the route towards stadium, this is faster as it has a travellator. It’s less walking than walking towards Lawson and pass the anime building to the same kokura station entrance. From kokura, can access many malls such as Vierra, AMU plaza, Saintcity and etc. If the tower floor has discount, highly recommend to take it as the amenities are good and refilled each day of the stay. Free access to Tower library which is a quiet and cozy area to chill and enjoy the free drinks with a nice view. There are hot and iced coffee, tea, calpis, Minute Maid etc. Breakfast set menu for tower room only is good, had a special fish dish on the both days I went, service is top notch. Buffet spread at level 1 is good too, has many tasty selections. After the buffet, can even takeaway a cup of coffee from the entrance coffee machine."

"Affordable small room, small but fully equipped, the hotel is 6-7 minutes walk from Kokura Station, there is also a large bathhouse, it is very comfortable to take a bath after walking for a day"

"Nice hotel, room is big, good facilities, near train station, many eateries around. One thing I appreciate so much is I store my luggage in the locker and don’t know it have PIN code, cannot pick up. Luckily customer service of the hotel help me up by calling them on the pad at the self check in kiosk"

"Have a night stay at this hotel. Location is nearby Mojiko station. Could see the Blue Wing Moji Bridge. Room is clean and size is considering ok for a couple. Easy to find restaurants at the surrounding. Night view was great."

"Access was very good, right next to Kokura station. Too close to the station, the trains were noisy at night and early in the morning. Rooms have minimal amenities. No bottled water.No parking."

"The hotel and room are new and modern generally, situated mins away from the station. It is very strategically located from the mall, eateries and good for rejuvenating after a long journey interstate. However, the bed is relatively small, overly soft to my liking and I woke up to itch. The morning breakfast with curry rice and nato is also my favourite part of the stay. Generally all is good."

"고쿠라역에서 도보로 400m에 위치하기 때문에 접근성은 매우 좋다. 전체적으로 마음에 드나 아래 2가지는 불만족스럽다.  예약하신 분들은 참고하세요 ------------------------------ 1.짐 보관 서비스는 케이스 바이 케이스 짐 보관 서비스는 대개 짐 보관 서비스를 해준다. (호텔이니 당연한 거 아닌가!) 하지만 짐을 보관할 수 없다는 답을 들었으며 (방문 시간은 이른 오전이었음) 이유는 짐을 보관할 장소가 없다는 것이다. 고쿠라역 코인 로커 (큰 슈트케이스는 하루 700엔)를 이용하라는 것이다. 비즈니스 호텔이기 때문에 관광객보다는 출장 오는 이들이 많기 때문에 짐 보관 서비스는 하기 어렵지 않을까 싶다. (관광객이 방문하는 시간보다 출장으로 오는 이들이 맡겨 놓는 짐들이 많을 거라고 추측한다.) 데스크에 2명이 있었고, 하급자는 최대한 보관해 주고 싶은 마음이 보였으나, 상급자가 무조건 안된다 하여 결국 3개 중 한 개만 맡기고 나왔다. ------------------------------ 2.체크인 시간을 맞춰서 가는 걸 추천 (하지만 ....) 정확하지 않을 수 있지만 숙박하는 내내 본 걸 기준으로 이야기하면 오후가 되면 데스크에 커튼이 쳐있다. 즉 늘 데스크에 직원이 없을 수도 있겠다는 생각을 해본다. (물론 벨을 누르면 나오겠지만) ------------------------------ 그리고 아래 사항은 마음에 들었다.  1.키 없이 사용하는 디지털 도어록 열쇠 없이 번호를 사용한다. 체크인을 하면 종이를 주고 이 번호를 이용해서 이용할 수 있다. 1층 문도 00:00~07:00도 닫히는데 그때에도 준 번호와 같은 번호로 출입할 수 있다. 열쇠, 카트 키가 없기 때문에 체크아웃은 필요 없다. 그냥 가면 된다. 2.목욕탕 객실이 작기 때문에 갑갑하게 목욕하기 싫은 이는 목욕탕을 이용하면 된다. 단 목욕탕은 한 개이며 시간에 따라 남, 여 사용이 제한된다.     * 남성은 18:00 ~ 19:50, 22:00 ~ 다음날 아침 7:50      * 여성은 15:00 ~ 17:50, 20:00 ~ 21:50 , 다음날 아침 08:00 ~ 09:30  여성은 목욕탕 문이 닫혀있으며 체크인 시 출입할 수 있는 번호를 준다. (남성 목욕 시간에 커튼만 쳐있음) 목욕탕 크기는 매우 협소하다. 그러니 시작과 동시에 가던지 늦게 가는 걸 추천한다. 3.무료 조식 트립 닷컴 안내와 달리 조식 비용은 호텔에서 결제하라 안내되어 있지만, 무료다.     * 시간은 평일 06:30~08:30     * 주말 06:30~09:00  비즈니스 호텔이기에 출근하는 이들에게 맞춘 시간이 아닐까 싶다. 음식은 밥과 국, 낫토, 반찬 4개 정도, 빵, 커피, 기타 음료를 제공하는데 괜찮다. (반찬은 계속 바뀌지만 명란은 계속 나온다.) (참고: 트립 닷컴 예약 시 2명으로 숙소 검색하면 조식 무료로 나오고, 3명으로 검색하면 조식 별도로 나옴) 4.웰컴바 18:00~21:00까지 조식하는 곳에 음료 자판기와 술 몇 종류가 제공된다. (맥주는 없으며 일본인들이 잘 마시는 전통주 같다.) 기타큐슈 자체가 이른 저녁부터 문을 닫기 때문에 저녁 6~7시 즈음 쇼핑했던 물건 숙소에 던져줄 때 음료 한잔 가지고 올라가는 자주 이용했다.  5.연박할때 청소 요청 안 하면 생수 한 병 준다. 교체가 필요한 수건은 문 앞에 두면, 새 수건과 생수 한 병을 에코백에 넣어 문 앞에 놔준다. 6.다양한 객실용품 1층 엘리베이터 옆에 비치되어 있으며, 기본적인 용품 (칫솔,면봉 등) 외에 두 칸으로 나눠져있으며 가글,로션,스킨, 릴렉스 시트 (휴족지간과 같은 효능)를 사용할 수 있다. 체크인 시간엔 오픈되어 있지만, 조식이 끝난 시간에는 닫혀있다. 저녁시간에 사용할 만큼 가져가면 된다.  ------------------------------ [총평] 기타큐슈는 소도시이기 때문에 이른 저녁이 되면 많은 가게들이 문을 닫는다. (돈키호테도 새벽 3시까지 영업하며, 매장은 작다.) 그래서 오사카 같은 대도시처럼 잠만 자면 된다라기 보다는 조금 더 체류시간이 길기 때문에 호텔 선택이 다른 곳보다 중요하지 않을까 싶다. "
