"Everything is good except location. It locates some 4 km from downtown. But you have everything within walking distance , supermarket, dollarama, numbers of restaurant etc.
The best thing is the hotel provides free self serviced laundry but you have prepared your own detergent ."
"The view from the window is lovely, and the bed is comfortable. The air conditioning is a bit noisy, and there’s some street noise. No bottled water or slippers were provided in the room. The breakfast is average but filling. The staff are friendly and make the stay pleasant. Overall, it was a decent experience, and I might consider staying again in the future."
"The hotel location was good and near the dock for the 1000 island cruise, and depending on the rooms you either face the lake or the downtown. Stayed facing the downtown, not much noise was noted from the streets at night. Many eateries located near the hotel, opposite the hotel was the tourist center which you can book the trolley tours, 1000 island cruise, etc. Breakfast can be collected close to the hotel lobby. It is a bento style box and taste is decent even though the options do not change except for the flavour of the muffin."
"This hotel is in an excellent location. Walking distance to all Kingston has to offer. Great restaurants and bars. Shopping and bakeries. Steps from the 1000 island cruise line and wolf island ferry."
"first off we visited the hotel during the coronavirus pandemic so there were things that were shut down due to this. The pool was available two customers on a booking schedule so you would book it for 45 minutes and the pool was your entire families which I thought was an excellent idea. since the hot tub could contribute to coronavirus it was shut down that was understandable and since the water slide needed a lifeguard they shut it down so there wouldn't be life guards with your family do to Corona and that was understandable as well. The hotel is located ten feet away from a small outlet mall which my wife light as well there were many fast food in casual restaurants nearby. If you wanted to be downtown you had about a five minute or so drive so it was not as good as some of the resorts on the waterfront but it was significantly better price and the rooms were excellent. Each room had a nice TV microwave and fridge..and was very spacious they had walk-in showers instead of bathtubs which I thought was an excellent idea. one thing to know they did not have a coffee maker in the room due to coronavirus issues ETC. They did not have any included breakfast as well but I got an excellent price thank you to trip.com. and that easily made up for no breakfast. overall trip.com saved me easily 50 Canadian dollars a night so compared to a riverfront hotel over $125 per night was saved. I felt this was well worth the inconvenience of being a 5 minute drive from downtown... parking downtown with no issue and typically was 4 to $5 so even when you tag in the gas to drive downtown the parking and everything I still saved an incredible amount of money for this very nicely appointed hotel I would recommend trip.com hands down and I would recommend this hotel unless you absolutely needed to be right downtown."
"Hôtel bien situé proche des commodités. Situé sur Princess street, à 15minutes en voiture du centre ville de Kingston. Parking disponible et gratuit. Petit déjeuner compris. L’hôtel est propre, la literie est confortable, chambre et salle de bain lumineuses et spacieuses. Le personnel est globalement accueillant mis à part une dame à l’accueil. Bonne adresse pour une escale à Kingston."
"Candlewood suites was such a pristine place to stay, from the location to the ambience of the hotel. It was so clean and all amenities working perfectly. Their staff were professional and nice 😊😊. I'd definitely retun"
"Very elegant hotel, surrounded by greenery. Breakfast is great: in addition to regular food, there are grilled vegetables and vegetable salads, and there are berries and blueberries in the fruit. The service is also good. When leaving, I tip the front desk and refused to accept it."
"A hotel that helps a colleague make a mistake. This family was good in all aspects of the evaluation and chose this family. The hotel's been making good comments. Nice position, too! Good recommendation!"
"The environment is good, the inside and outside are very clean. The price is relatively high. There is also an indoor swimming pool in the hotel. Breakfast is relatively simple, and the kitchen replenishment is also very fast. Self-driving parking is charged extra, pay attention."

Great
GGuest UserWe enjoyed our stay in Dec 2024. Front desk staff were warm, welcoming, and very helpful with information about the area. The hotel has free parking and a decent size pool. There's a gym and facilities to do paid laundry. Breakfast was lovely with various options and the hosts there were awesome!. We stayed on the 5th floor, and the room itself was clean and fresh and the beds were super comfy. We would definitely stay again on our next trip to Kingston.
AAnonymous UserIt was my first time in this city. The hotel is new and the service is good. The location is excellent, within walking distance to the lake, with many restaurants nearby and convenient transportation. It was a great experience.
AA TrefzgerI enjoyed the pool for a quick swim. It has long hours.. I had a quiet night with my best sleep in weeks. The hotel pillows are very comfortable and I fell asleep before I had time to judge the mattress. Turns out it is really comfy too! The staff were very friendly even in the middle of the night. All in all it was a very enjoyable stay.
QQuanjiabeibaoyoushijieThe room is relatively small but the facilities are complete. There is also a small kitchen, a refrigerator with a freezer. The breakfast is also rich, but the breakfast time is relatively short, from 6 to 9 in the morning. There is no swimming pool. The location is good and it is right after getting off the highway.
JJINCHAOThe room is about 28 square meters, two large beds, comfortable, clean and tidy, the facilities are relatively perfect, free Wi-Fi, staff service attitude is good, parking is open air parking lot, quite convenient. The variety of breakfast is ok, and it is quite satisfactory! PS: I encountered two hares on the grass next to the parking lot!
GGuest UserA very special small hotel, the service staff is very warm, parking is convenient, that is, the girls with large luggage should pay attention to the luggage upstairs, because there is no elevator. The breakfast bread is very delicious, about 100 meters from the lake, very suitable for leisure travel.
FFANGYINGThe front desk is very welcoming. I need to change a few coins and take a bus on weekdays. Most of them can help. The room was very spacious, the quilt was a bit thick, and the air conditioner had to be turned down at night to sleep or it would get hot. Wifi is free and works well, no problem watching videos. Free breakfast, in the door on the left side of the entrance door, is a large hall with several tables and chairs. Breakfast is very simple but nutrition is enough. Two types of bread slices, several types of bagels, three types of muffin cakes, three types of crispy cereals with milk, peeled white boiled eggs, cold milk, several cold juices, hot coffee, hot water, and bags The Quaker Instant Oatmeal comes in two flavors: apples and oranges, all of which are whole. There are several stations around, close to kingston center, only a few minutes walk, there is the bus terminal and several supermarkets, shopping and transportation are convenient. In short, the price is very high.
GGuest UserUh, how to say it, worse than expected, although I have lived in this hotel before traveling abroad, it is still lower than expected. Health is general, service is not, the room feels nothing, the only good, parking is free. The front desk attitude is very good, typical Canadians, smiling.
YYONGQINGMaybe we don't have enough credit rating on Ctrip.com, or the hotel doesn't trust Ctrip's users. We have received a deposit of 100 CAD (50 CAD/day). According to the Ctrip online, it will take 1-3 months to return. The amount of Xin’s loss is not big, otherwise I will delay my short-term investment.
GGuest UserIt was a nice stay at the place with good service.. I was there for 2 nights and there are fast food nearby so good location. There is a pool as well as a small gym!!
