"Doubletree was a last minute decision upon arriving Queenstown from Mt Cook. Although it is pricey, no regrets getting a room here for 2 nights. It came with a fully furnished kitchenette where you could do some cooking but didn't utilize this since we ate out. One peeve I don't understand is the need to pay for parking since onsite (NZD$ 16 per nite). There's ample parking and for guests that drive in, this should be complimentary for stay duration.
Location is outside of Queenstown but water taxi available from hotel dock. Recommend for the environment and fantastic room but giving 3 stars for facilities due to need to pay for parking.
Location by the lake allows peace and quiet and also wildlife encounters. Front desk staff during checkin time was very attentive and helpful as well."

"The hotel is located in a area called ” Kevin Heights' which is near the airport but opposite to the Queenstown city. However, the hotel is built as it own resort, it is very pleasant to be away from those tourist spot full of hotels and accommodations. If you look for a holidays like a retreat and quiet time, this hotel is your choice.
The hotel is full of facilities like indoors swimming pool, restaurant and bar with lake view, lot of self-service parking spaces (you need to pay for $4 NZD per hour or $16NZD for a day parking). The breakfast at the restaurant with the lake view that really give you a fresh start of a day before you are heading off to your adventures.
By the lake side you can go for a walk anytime you want is a very pleasant activities or you can order your water taxi from the front desk that will take you to the downtown of Queenstown. It is also treat yourself as a cruise trip on the Wakatipu lake."

"This hotel apartment is opposite the Hilton Queenstown. The 604 four-bedroom apartment we booked has a lake view and a balcony, but the living room is a little small. There is a twin bedroom on the first floor with a built-in bathroom. The other three bedrooms are on the next floor, a master bedroom with a large bed and bathroom, and two twin rooms with shared bathrooms. The kitchen facilities are basically all there, but there is a lack of non-stick pans and a good cooking pan. There is only one frying pan, which can barely cook some meals. The total area of the second floor is about 150 square meters, which can be called a comfortable four-bedroom apartment. It is quite good and recommended."

This magical getaway, is conveniently located near the airport, Frankton and the Remarkables Shopping centre yet away from the noise and congestion of downtown Queenstown. This home is styled with modern furniture and offers spacious open plan living combining lounge, dining and kitchen. Large sliding doors lead to a sunny deck. The home has ducted heating and a cosey gas fire.Two generous sized bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. Each have a comfortable queen sized bed with soft duvet and electric blanket looking out to stunning views of the lake and Coronet Peak.Located 20 metres down a sloping driveway there is parking for 1 car right next to the house. The house is fully equipped with all linen supplied.A five minute stroll takes you to the lake and walking track. The track follows the lake from Jacks point to Queenstown and links with all the other fantastic Wakatipu trails to Lake Hayes, Arrowtown and the Gibbston Wine Trail. Choose from a range of sporting activities whether it be hiking, biking, skiing, croquet or tennis – it is all nearby and easy to get to.A five minute walk along the lake track takes you to the Hilton Hotel where you can enjoy a coffee with fresh pastries from the deli which also offers a selection of grocery items. "**Great Stay with Stunning Views**
I had a fantastic stay at **La Quinta by Wyndham Remarkables Park Queenstown**. The hotel is modern, clean, and well-maintained, with spacious rooms that offer beautiful mountain views. The bed was very comfortable, and the in-room amenities, including a kitchenette and laundry facilities, were a great bonus.
The location is excellent—close to the airport, shops, and restaurants, yet quiet and peaceful. It’s also a convenient base for exploring Queenstown and the surrounding areas. The staff was friendly and helpful, making the stay even more enjoyable.
Overall, a great choice for a comfortable and convenient stay in Queenstown. Highly recommend!"

"We have traveled to Queenstown many times. In the past, we stayed near the city center near the lake. The hotels there were built a long time ago, the hotel environment was uneven, the facilities were old, and the accommodation experience was average. Some of them were close to the lake and had lake views. But most of them were on the hillside or near the roadside, and traffic jams were easy in the city. This is the first time we chose to stay in a hotel in the center of Remarkable. The hotel was newly built in 21 years, with new facilities, large rooms, a good environment, and a warm attitude of the service staff. It is close to the business district, restaurants, and supermarkets, and can be reached on foot. It is also very convenient to pick up and return the rental car. We went to Tekapo and came back to book another three nights of accommodation, and then found that the hotel also provides electric bicycles for rent, and the price is more favorable than outside, so I unlocked the skill of riding a bicycle to browse the beautiful scenery of Queenstown. I am so happy🥳. I like this hotel very much and will choose it again in the future."

"The hotel was almost walkable from the airport. We arrived early Saturday morning and enjoyed the market right over the road. As we were early to the hotel we got our instructions and returned later, lovely receptionist.
We did not eat at the hotel but there is a cafe on the ground level which closes around 2.30 but the smell from fresh bakery and coffee was pretty good.
Self catering was good with basics. We had a faulty fridge and had just bought supplies but the hotel, although almost time for staff to leave, found us another room with an upgrade. If you are a fussy camper, you could say fittings in bathroom were ”cheap” and scuff marks on walls (all white so they show more) but it was perfect for us. Overlooking building sites and other buildings but just look up and there are the mountains in their splendour.l Cost was reasonable and as parking is pricy in Queenstown it was good to get free parking at the hotel."

"It was a very smart decision to choose this hotel for our last night on the South Island. Its close proximity to the airport was incredibly convenient for returning our rental car that evening and catching our early morning flight the next day. The hotel itself was lovely, with spacious rooms and a large, very comfortable bed."
