"There are two rooms in one living room, one room with a double bed, and one room with twin beds. The kitchen basically has a dishwasher, washing machine and dryer, and the facilities are complete! The apartment is in the back row of the Hilton. Although it is not directly on the lake, you can still see the lake view. The sunset shines on the mountain opposite. Lake Wakatipu is so beautiful. Follow the main road and you will find Deer Park Heights, a popular spot on Xiaohongshu.com. It is highly recommended. There are beautiful scenery and small animals. You can go and play for a day with some food. The trouble is that there are only 3 parking spaces in the entire apartment. After staying for two days, there was no parking space. I had to drive back to the main road to park, which is a bit of a test of my driving skills."

"Doubletree was a last minute decision upon arriving Queenstown from Mt Cook. Although it is pricey, no regrets getting a room here for 2 nights. It came with a fully furnished kitchenette where you could do some cooking but didn't utilize this since we ate out. One peeve I don't understand is the need to pay for parking since onsite (NZD$ 16 per nite). There's ample parking and for guests that drive in, this should be complimentary for stay duration. Location is outside of Queenstown but water taxi available from hotel dock. Recommend for the environment and fantastic room but giving 3 stars for facilities due to need to pay for parking. Location by the lake allows peace and quiet and also wildlife encounters. Front desk staff during checkin time was very attentive and helpful as well."

"I recently stayed in this hotel-style apartment, and the experience was beyond my expectations! From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was warmed by the warm fragrance and butler-style service. The front desk lady not only checked me in quickly, but also hand-painted a map of nearby food~ The room is completely a ”dream house”! The panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows frame the city night view like an oil painting, and the open kitchen is equipped with capsule coffee machines and imported seasonings."

"The Good: 1) Close to Queenstown Airport and city center 2) Close to eateries and supermarket 3) Staff are courteous, professional, and knowledgeable 4) Clean rooms, comes with a fridge, water pressure is great The Bad: 1) Front Desk not 24 hours, closes after 8pm 2) Not even a small work desk, and totally NO USB ports to charge phones or tablets 3) Not really value for money with such amenities"

"Holiday Inn Queenstown Remarkables Park is a top notch hotel, just 5 minutes drive from the airport. If you want a quick rest from a long journey this one should quickly come to your rescue from travelling fatigue. Everything about the hotel is good including friendly staff. The only drawback is its location which is a bit far from town or main activities. If you don’t have a car then surely you should be prepared to Ubar and Tax every time you want to go out."

"Renovated and conveniently located hotel. The service was good and the room was comfortable. Unfortunately, in our room, the kitchen exhaust hood was not working and there were no windows that could be open, the only large window was fixed and without an opening option, so only for light. Every time we would cook, the whole room would fill up with smoke and it was just not nice."
