XXiaoyiGet off at the hot spring entrance and cross the road. Returning to the opposite side of the road, you can also ask the hotel to send to the departure station. Very old spa hotel, the room is generally clean and tidy, there is nothing to Tao, Japanese style bed is made of rubber mattress praise! Dinner and breakfast are Japanese, and the season is not right, I don’t have the legendary honeydew melon, but the sugared tomato fried chicken is delicious! Feeding and feeding! Dessert homemade pudding is also delicious for fried chicken! ! Breakfast is a semi-self-service offering fresh egg bibimbap and natto, as well as vegetables. Yuantang must go to the bubble, and the steaming bubble is exhausted. The open-air hot springs of the museum are not open to the public in the winter. The service is super good, and I offered to send us to the cable car station. It is all the Japanese. Only one little brother speaks English.

SstefanimumuRecommended on Xiaohongshu. The hotel is by the Akan River. The scenery is superb. If you are lucky, there will be deer. There is a group of ducks in the river that come out for a stroll every morning. You can stare blankly in front of the window for an afternoon🤤. The open-air hot spring is not very big, but it is right by the river. If it snows, the outdoor water temperature will be a little low. You can observe the deer up close🤤. The food is average, but it is filling. If you stay for two nights, you will have better food on the second night. If you go there by chance, you will be arranged to have a side-by-side view. It is beautiful to enjoy the beautiful scenery while eating. It is also interesting to hike in the small woods by Lake Akan.

I recently spent one night at the Higashikawa Asahidake Onsen Hotel Bear Monte in a Superior Twin Room, and the experience was quite delightful. The hotel's proximity to the Asahidake Visitor Centre, which is highly informative (I spent an hour there), and the ropeway to Mount Asahidake makes it an ideal choice for nature enthusiasts and hikers.
The room was spacious, featuring a modern and minimalistic design that provided a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. My family particularly enjoyed the bath, and the attention to detail in the provided pajamas added an extra touch of luxury to our stay.
While the buffet spread for both breakfast and dinner wasn't exactly fantastic, it was good enough to satisfy most guests. The variety was adequate, though there is room for improvement in terms of the selection offered.
One of the highlights of our stay was waking up to the sounds of nature and the gentle breeze. The hotel's location is perfect for those looking to trek, hike, or simply enjoy the natural beauty of Daisetsuzan National Park.
Overall, Higashikawa Asahidake Onsen Hotel Bear Monte offers a comfortable and convenient base for exploring the area, with spacious rooms, thoughtful amenities, and a prime location near key attractions. I would recommend it to anyone planning a visit to Mount Asahidake.

YYanxiaojiuIt is a B&B run by ********* and speaks Chinese. Dinner and breakfast are charged separately. Dinner is 4,500 yen and breakfast is 1,500 yen. I went there once in autumn and winter, and the food has not changed. If you are staying consecutively or going there for the second time, it is recommended to inform the owner in advance, and they will update some dishes for you. The room is a bit old and the public bathroom on the first floor is not open. If you have a car at night, it’s very convenient to go to Shinei-no-oka to watch the stars!

DDashakI came with my family. It seems like a family oriented hotel - buffet menu and nothing to do in the hotel.
The room had a gas heater which wasn’t very suitable for such a small room that we had to leave the window slightly open and run the air purifier on high all night.
The staff were okay just doing their job but nobody spoke a single word of English. It took us extra 15 minutes wandering around the hotel as the google map location was not accurate.
I very much liked the onsen amenities! They were great - head to toe care amenities.
But its close location to Biei and the lake make up.
I don’t think I’ll come back but for the very cheap price, you get what you pay for. Lesson very much learned!

IIanRooms have a nice old world charm. Dinner (we had the French one) was very good. Soup, fish, palate cleanser, steak, and dessert were all tasty and fresh. Wine selection could have been a bit better but wasn't bad at all. Onsen is nice: they have the public onsen and private rooms. Each room is different, so try to get the one at the end of the corridor (it has an open air section) if you can. Otherwise the public onsen is really great too. A slightly long walk to the ropeway station up to Asahidake for my kid. But loved it overall!

GGuest UserThis is a bit aged hotel but I just like it's nostalgia feel of the building, it's layout and very quiet environment make it feel so relaxing for holiday stay.
Hotel serve a simple breakfast and free parking beside it, I guess due to the number of traveller and also hotel stuff hence hotel main door will be locked mid night but that bo problem to us at all as nothing much to do really surrounding the area at night.
All good and I will consider come back again if got chance in future.

RRachoooLarge hotel room, clean and tidy but a bit old. Air con was not functioning much so need a fan. No special view from hotel room, was facing mountain / car park side. Limitrd car park space at hotel, but they could arrnage shuttle bus connecting a public parking area. Busy hotel restaurant, which means long queue for food. Hotel staff are nice and can speak english. Mixed onsen, but the floor of onsen was not even, difficult to walk through.

Jjai210The scenery outside the window is very good. You can see Rizhao Jinshan (Mount Biei and Mt. Tokachi at sunset) from the room. The facilities are not bad except for the old bathroom. Breakfast and dinner for three people (a very common banquet meal) only costs 1,000 RMB. It also includes free pick-up and drop-off from Asahikawa Station and free pick-up and drop-off from Aoike in the evening. It is very cost-effective. The waiters also answered all questions and were eager to help. The most special experience was soaking in an open-air hot spring in the heavy snow the next morning, just like the Hokkaido macaques
