"My elderly mum and me had a wonderful stay at Maison Glad, the hotel is a big property, there are two wings whereby my aunt and cousin stayed at another wing. We got a corner room and it was very spacious with two double beds. The toilet was equipped with standing shower and bath tub. It was a relief for us as we preferred standing shower as our legs were not that good to climb into the bath tub. The hotel breakfast is international style and there are different fruit drinks to choose. The hotel lobby has a cafe selling bakery and coffee, we spent our leisure there in afternoon too. Hotel staff are all very friendly and polite. The hotel location is very convenient diagonally across Shila duty free shop and many restaurants."

"The hotel's location is incredibly convenient. Dongmun Market and Chilseong Street are just a short stroll away. A taxi from the airport cost us roughly 9,000 KRW, or if you opt for the bus, it's about a 10-minute walk from the stop. You'll find 7-Eleven and CU convenience stores right downstairs, and a GS25 is located under the adjacent hotel. The street next door is packed with seafood restaurants. Emart, OY, and BHC fried chicken outlets are also easily reachable within a 20-minute walk. There's a lively plaza downstairs where people sing until 9 or 10 PM, and you'll often see skateboarders around. It really feels like Koreans never sleep!
Our room wasn't a corner unit, but the sea view was unobstructed, allowing us to catch glimpses of both sunrise and sunset. The room was impeccably cleaned every day, and the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, promptly addressing any concerns we had.
Suggestions:
1. The differentiation between room types could be much clearer. For instance, it's unclear if the distinction between a 'Deluxe Room' and a 'Deluxe Sea View' room lies in the floor level or the extent of the view. Booking felt like a complete shot in the dark.
2. Considering the hotel promotes having a swimming pool, it's surprising there's no facility to purchase swimwear. The options at Emart and the Arena store in Chilseong Street nearby were either quite unappealing or overpriced."

"Overall, it was a good stay. The hotel is very close to the airport; our group shared a larger taxi which cost 20,000 KRW to get us there. Hailing a taxi at the airport is very convenient – you just cross a small road outside, and you can quickly find one.
The hotel is located in the city center, making it incredibly convenient for dining, drinking, and shopping. Downstairs, you'll find various restaurants, convenience stores, and pharmacies. Baojian Road Pedestrian Street is just a ten-minute walk away. The hotel is situated directly above Lotte Duty Free, with the lobby on the 6th floor, accessible by elevator.
Breakfast is an optional extra, and you can purchase it day by day. We tried it for one day but then decided it wasn't great value for money, so we opted not to continue. A convenience store downstairs provided perfectly adequate breakfast options instead.
The hotel also has an outdoor pool, which is quite shallow and costs extra (12,000 KRW per person, same price for adults and children). The kids really enjoyed playing in it. The room wasn't huge, but the space was well-utilized, and it came with all the expected amenities, including a bathtub. When it was time to leave, the staff on the ground floor helped us call a taxi, and we reached the airport quickly.
Overall, our stay was very pleasant."

"The sea-view room offered an incredible view. There's a trendy restaurant right downstairs, and numerous other eateries nearby, making dining extremely convenient. The public beach and Oliver Young are also within easy walking distance. The photo, taken from the room's balcony in the morning, is simply beautiful. My only minor quibble is that the room tends to be a bit humid, but this is understandable for a sea-view room."

"The room was clean, and housekeeping service was provided during my two-day stay. The only minor issue was the lack of a universal power adapter. The front desk staff could speak simple Chinese. Check-in is only possible after 3 PM, and early check-in is charged at 10,000 KRW per hour. I stayed two nights at Gloucester and one night at Lotte. "## Pros:
The location is superb, directly across from the beach and a bustling fish market. The ocean view rooms offer unparalleled views. Public transportation is also very convenient, with bus routes 101 and 201 making it easy to reach any destination. While there are many dining options nearby, not many are particularly good. However, Haenyeo Bibimbap was the standout among the popular (or 'internet-famous') eateries.
## Cons:
The room size and facilities are average and feel a bit dated. For a hotel claiming four stars, it's nowhere near the standard of a domestic 'Quanji' (All Seasons) hotel. They are very strict about the number of guests allowed. We booked an ocean view room with a double and single bed for two adults and one child. Since this exceeded their two-person occupancy limit, we had to pay an extra 10,000 (presumably KRW) per night for the child. Other policies are quite standard for hotels overseas: check-in is strictly at 3 PM and check-out at 11 AM. Late check-out incurs hourly charges, and staying past 2 PM will result in being charged for an entire additional night. Furthermore, they don't provide any disposable amenities, such as slippers, toothbrushes, toothpaste, or body lotion. And no umbrellas are available for guests to borrow."

"On holiday with friends, we booked a family room with two queen-sized beds.
Facilities: The facilities were decent. Although it's a newly opened hotel, to be honest, it didn't quite live up to 4-star standards. The breakfast selection was only mediocre, comparable to what you'd expect from a 3-star hotel in China. However, the rooftop pool was excellent, and the kids absolutely loved it.
Service: The front desk staff were very helpful, and some could speak Chinese.
Location: The area is lively and bustling. There are convenience stores and pharmacies nearby, and the Shilla Duty-Free Shop is directly opposite, making shopping incredibly convenient. There are also plenty of dining options."

"The service was great. The lobby was clean, well-maintained, and quite spacious. We booked a family twin room with two beds, one large and one small, which was perfect for three people. Disposable toothbrushes, toothpaste, and cups were provided, making it feel very hygienic. The room also had a refrigerator and a safe. The hotel is conveniently located diagonally opposite Baojian Road and is very close to the duty-free store. The only slight drawback was that the soundproofing in the street-facing rooms was just average."

It was such a treat to grab some drinks from the convenience store next door and then sit by the window, enjoying snacks, drinks, and the beautiful scenery. The room came with a fridge and a microwave, which was super handy for reheating food. The shower in the bathroom was excellent, with strong and consistent water pressure. The amenities provided were also top-notch. The owners were incredibly warm and hospitable; they even helped us with our luggage. Plus, they spoke some Chinese and very fluent English, which was a huge help! They also have a dedicated Chinese food delivery mini-program and can assist you with ordering takeout, which was incredibly convenient. I would absolutely recommend this place to friends! A truly wonderful experience!

Thankfully, after I called, they located them, and I was able to arrange a courier pickup. Just a heads-up: if you need to mail anything, remember to pack it securely yourself, as shipping services typically won't do it for you! Lol.

XXenaaaaFacilities: The hotel is very conveniently located near the airport, just about 3 kilometers away. Getting around is incredibly easy, with a bus stop right outside. During my stay, buses were always readily available whenever I needed to go out, and using Naver Maps made navigation super efficient, saving a lot of time.
Right outside, you'll find two convenience stores (a GS25 and a CU). If you walk a bit to the right from the hotel, you'll reach Jeju City Hall. At the main intersection, there's a huge Daiso, along with Art Box, ABC Mart, Olive Young, and a BBQ Chicken restaurant. This excellent location means you don't need to venture into the crowded city center for shopping or dining.
Cleanliness: The room was cleaned daily and was consistently quite clean.
Ambiance: It was quiet, and our window offered a lovely sea view, which was particularly beautiful on clear, sunny days.
Service: Only two complimentary bottles of water are provided, so I'd recommend buying larger ones from the nearby convenience stores. I stayed for 4 days, and for a standard room priced at just over 200, the value for money was truly exceptional.

KKumaNiThis place offers excellent value for money. As a solo traveler, I paid around 160 per night during the off-peak season. The room was very quiet and spacious, featuring a small entrance hall in addition to the bathroom. Check-in was self-service: I simply picked up my room keycard, which had my name on it, from the front desk, and returned it upon check-out. If you arrive early, you can leave your luggage at the front desk, which is under surveillance. While I'd read some reviews complaining about the inconvenience of not being able to find the owner, I personally didn't encounter any problems. There's a convenience store right opposite, and the elderly gentleman who works there was very kind. Dongmun Market and Mokgwan-a are also close by. However, if transportation convenience is your main priority, an area like Baojian Road would be a better choice. The primary appeal of staying here is its affordability.

GGuest UserI am writing to express my deep disappointment and dissatisfaction with my recent stay at your hotel, Seoubong Beach Hotel from Sept 23-26. While I had initially looked forward to a pleasant experience, I regret to inform you that the behavior and attitude of some of your staff members were awful.
During check in the behaviour of your staff Kelly Oh to be discourteous and unprofessional. She was very rude. We booked and paid the room for 3 adults she asked us extra charge and could not explain for what we need to pay extra 30000 Won. She was very rude and almost kicked us out. I believe it is essential to bring these incidents to your attention so that you can take the necessary steps to rectify them.
On Sept 24, during breakfast at your hotel's restaurant, I had a regrettable encounter with a member of your waitstaff. She rudely with a loud voice said to go out from the restaurant without waiting for our finishing the breakfast at 10:05 am. I have never seen in any hotel this kind of unprofessional attitude from staff members.
I kindly request that you investigate these incidents and take appropriate action to address the behavior of the staff involved. Additionally, I hope that you will consider implementing further training and measures to ensure that such instances do not recur in the future.
I value the importance of constructive feedback and hope that my concerns are taken seriously. I look forward to hearing from you regarding the actions taken to rectify these issues. If my concerns are not adequately addressed, I may have no choice but to share my negative experience through online reviews and social media platforms, which I would prefer to avoid.

When I booked a room on Ctrip, there was a prompt asking what I needed. I chose to pick up the airport, and the webpage passed quickly, but when I arrived, I called the hotel and replied that the hotel had never had an airport pick-up service. It appears that there is something wrong with the system.
