There was no problem with the service and I was able to spend comfortably. The inside of the room was clean. I was grateful for the mineral water. I highly recommend it.

I visited Maldives for the second time and took a short trip to Velassaru with my 3-year-old baby. I had another wonderful time. Hygiene: I stayed in a sand house for 2 nights. Every day, the staff would take the initiative to ask if it was cleaned. The guy cleaned very carefully. I like his work attitude. Facilities: Because of the rainy season, the wind and waves were very strong. I originally planned to experience the Japanese restaurant Teppanyaki, haha, but it was closed on Sunday night. I didn’t make an appointment at other restaurants and couldn’t eat. I could only have a buffet dinner in the main restaurant. I want to praise Velassaru’s buffet. I personally feel it is still very good. It is more suitable for my taste than the previous one in Xiya Family. Haha, I didn’t get to eat the ice cream twice a day around the island. At that time, the children were either sleeping or digging in the sand, and they didn’t give me a chance to eat at all. Environment: The lagoon is super beautiful. It rained a little before going to the island and I was worried that the whole journey would be rainy. Fortunately, it was sunny the next day, and the photos were also very good, haha. Service: The staff on the island are very enthusiastic. They will say hello and tease the children when they meet.

The hotel is approximately 30 minutes from the Male International Airport and costs a charge. The airport has a special person to pick up, very convenient. The environment on the island is beautiful, the sea is blue-green, and the beach is white and delicate. The rooms are large and well equipped with a reasonable layout. There are several restaurants, especially Thai restaurants. But take a boat for 5 minutes to go to another island. Special thanks to Ctrip's service. You can take a high-speed boat arranged by the hotel from the boat dock just outside the airport to Gulhi for a fee. You must make a reservation with the hotel in advance. The boat ride takes about 30 minutes one way. The island is not paved, but it is clean everywhere. It is a 1-2 minute walk from the hotel to the beach. The sand and sea are very clean. This sand, sea, and sky are very beautiful and worth it. If you ask the hotel, they will set up beach chairs and parasols for you. You can also borrow snorkeling equipment. Water is provided in the hotel room. The rooms are very clean. There is a restaurant in the hotel, and everything was delicious. The hotel staff were all very kind. I would like to visit this hotel again if I have the opportunity.

The hotel has a perfect location, the best on the island: it is in 10 meters only from the beautiful main entry to the bikini beach. The beach is so big and clean! Umbrellas are for an additional fee but there's no need in them cause you can sit wherever you want under the tree. I had a cosy room with a balcony, on the second floor. In the room, you have everything you need: an air conditioner, a kettle, a fridge, lots of lights, towels etc. Cleaning is upon request. Wifi was good. The staff is extremely friendly and polite, always ready to help, they helped me so many times with different questions, the kindest people!! A team of divers live at the hotel and leads excursions for guests from the whole island. Snorkeling with them was the best experience in my life! I've seen colorful fish, big sharks, dolphins, and even a sea turtle. For breakfast, you have a choice between continental and maldivian breakfasts, I personally loved the last one, it was delicious. Always fresh fruits and juice before breakfast. Sometimes in the evening, the hotel prepares barbecue dinner with fresh fish from the sea and with traditional music, such an authentic experience! There are several restaurants on the island to have dinner, including the hotel restaurant. They're more or less of the same quality and price, liked local food there. Gulhi is very calm and tiny island, just 30 min on the boat from Male island. (The transfer to Gulhi from the airport costs $25.) There were not many tourists on the island, when I stayed. No noise at night at all, so if you're looking for calmness, this is probably the better choice for you than Maafushi. Also it feels safe if you're a female solo traveler. For me, everything was just perfect, loved the place, the food, the beach, the excursions. I think the guesthouse is the best price/quality option on the island. Thanks so much❤️

Very great location and close to many beach activities. Room was spacious but had a damp smell when we initially stayed there. The shower is big contains shower gel, shampoo and conditioner that is refilled for your stay. The only bad thing about booking here was that we were forced to pay $70 each for a compulsory Christmas dinner that was not worth the money we paid. Other than that it was located really close to the beach.
