Located on a private working ranch, deep in rolling hills, lakes and pine forests of East Texas, we offer you your own spacious roomy lodge to enjoy. Make a cup of coffee and sit in the screened covered porch, work on your computer with our wireless WiFi and watch the wildlife and livestock all around you or just gaze at the lake. At night watch Netflix on the flatscreen TV in the living room We are not set up for parties or events but offer a place to unplug from the city, to enjoy the peace and relaxation that comes from a true county place. Lodging price includes bank and dock fishing. If you would like to lease the whole lake with two boats it is $60.00/ day /boat- you can decide when you come!. We are a catch and release anything over 15 inches - under, take it home and fry it!! We have enjoyed guests coming for many years as we were affiliated with a private fishing club. Lakefront property on Houston County Lake with two 600 SQ ft cabins. Each cabin can sleep up to eight in two bedrooms and a loft and they rent separately.Beds: Queen in Master, bunk Full Size in guest, queen in the loft.Sheets, blankets, pillows, and towels are provided for each cabin.Shared outdoor kitchen with a BBQ pit, sink, electrical outlets, and countertop.The last 5 miles of the drive are on a "Red Dirt Road" and it can be bumpy or even slippery if it's rained recently. I've never heard of any issues in any vehicles but it's definitely a county road. You will leave with red dirt on your vehicle but that's part of the appeal, the secluded getaway :)The main driveway is pretty steep but hasn't caused any issues.
