The exterior looked old, but the interior was in good condition. The baths for men and women are changed depending on the day. When I went in at night, it was early and there weren't many people, so I went in slowly. The open-air bath only allows outside air to enter, but you cannot see the outside scenery at all. I took a different bath in the morning, but the open-air bath was under repair. It may be a little strange for people who place a lot of importance on the bath. You can also visit the outside baths, so it might be a good idea to enjoy the hot springs to your heart's content. I don't know. The view from the room was on the opposite side of the river, so I could only see the back of the building, but the four-person room was divided into a Western-style room on the first floor and a Japanese-style room on the second floor, so it was a relaxing stay. Dinner and breakfast were buffets, and there was quite a lot of variety. Since the restaurant was fully booked, more dishes were added one after another, so there was never a time when I couldn't get what I wanted. For dessert, there was also soft serve ice cream, which the kids were happy with. After deciding to stay at Kinosaki Onsen, I was torn between choosing a small ryokan, but in the end I think it was a good value for money.

After studying Japanese for the last year, I was really excited to visit Japan and our travel agency had wanted us to try an Onsen, however, despite doing our best to respect the culture and locals, the front staff made it clear they didn’t care for foreigners before we even had a chance to make an impression. The checkout staff ended up being much nicer, but we were so uncomfortable here, we checked out as early as we could. Even when getting breakfast in the lines, we were both shoved by locals staying here. We never had this experience other places, especially when it’s a line that naturally moves. This was our last night of a 10 day trip, and it left a pretty awful feeling behind for us. We wouldn’t recommend this location. In general, if you like foods like raw crab meat, you’ll enjoy the kaiseki meal. We found out it wasn’t something we loved, however, this is a preference and wasn’t reflected in the review. The accommodation is a bit older, but okay.

Great stay with excellent service and hospitality! While the location is slightly further from town, it’s still easily walkable. The service team was outstanding, providing lovely yukata for us to wear and even offering to drive us to the public bathhouses and drop us off at the station. Their hospitality truly stood out! The hotel room was spacious and beautifully designed, with fantastic shower products that added a touch of luxury. The food was delicious, and the onsen at the hotel was a perfect way to relax. Highly recommended!

The old store is different in the stone 😜 ignores the major travel agency ‼️ Millennium Yuko Man 1000 years will be arrogant 【Laughs】 It's a long established, but can you call it a prestigious? I think the company that lasts 1000 years is big, but it will not be shikato 🤔🤔🤔 The founder of Shirozaki Onsen, the Nissho ichizoku is a local master [bomb] It seems that the old man was founded in the Yoro era in the Nara period, but it is said that it is a local master. It seems that many of the kirosaki Onsen inn increase the number of employees by the family management and the family management, and the business expansion is not done, and it is the unwritten rule of the hot spring union, but it is rude and laughs 😜🤷‍♂️ I thought I would stay quiet, but Write for the face of a major travel company ‼️ Oira is good for garbage customers, but it should be contacted by the executives of major travel companies, domestic personnel, and a card company, but the managing director of this place, A complete deviation X3 ] I should be afraid of the Hiuke family ‼️ or ”frog in the well” rudely? The general of the country? Does NAGase's brother know about the managing director? I reported that I contacted the managing director from a major travel agency, so I brought souvenirs so that I could not be rude, but I had to come to greeting, and there was no contact. The old store is good rooted👻 I brought back souvenirs🤦🏻‍♂️😰 major travel agencies also put pressure on this hotel overseas to remove it from the brochure next year, Because the corona has completely lost its energy, it will be hard to tighten one local inn 😜 even though it is a managing director of Nissei, the ”J” of the whole country & No, you have a great root 🤧 1300 years of insensitiveness I want to apprentice ‼️

Ctrip's first review, no domestic tourist evaluation, the price of taking two breakfasts and two dinners is more than 2,100 yuan a night, dining in the room, children eat adults. Warm service, not early check-in. No Chinese house number, good location, just opposite a soup, next to Komatsu. Japanese-style rooms have no bathroom. The two of us can bring children, and they charge 1,000 yen for children. The price does not include the town hot spring fee and tax, and finally paid 3,580 yen for the soup fee and tax and children's fee when leaving. The room is on the opposite side of the street, with a small toilet, an old house, a sleeping Japanese-style floor, a lot of kaiseki dishes for dinner, some crabs taste good, and beef hot pot is not like to eat, plum wine is good. It costs more than 1,000 yuan more for a meal than a separate room. It feels more expensive than eating outside. It is mainly an experience. There are seven hot springs in the town and four hot springs in the town. The overall feeling is good. This shop does not do word-of-mouth marketing for Chinese people, and often has rooms. The price of bringing meals is also moderate. I don't know how about a store of about 3,000, and there are more than 1,000 with breakfast and dinner. The overall feeling is OK, and the consumption is moderate

This time I came to Chengqi to live in one of the two hotels on the left. Although it is a ten-minute drive from the city center, it doesn’t matter because it’s self-traveling. Because I really like the hotel room facing the sea, the room also has a bathtub for the sea view. It’s freehand. There are two private soups in the hotel. You can make an appointment to enjoy the time. The most important thing is that the hotel waiter is very polite and very helpful. In the evening, there is a hotel car to pick us up to the center of Shinzaki for dinner. Although we have a car, we also chose to take the hotel car because we wanted to thirsty wine at night. The driver is also very polite. After dinner, I picked us up at the restaurant door and returned to the hotel. The service was intimate and will come again. It is worth recommending.

The building is a bit old but clean. Of course, credit cards are also available. The hot spring has 2 inner hot water (both men and women 1 one), 2 open-air bath (both men and women 1 one), and it is a change system, so you can enter 4 types in all. The 1 of the open-air baths need to walk up to different floors, so the person who is inconvenient may be a little bit hard about it. (The scenery is very good) The outer bath ticket can be used even after checking out (15:30) and is very convenient. It's a little off the hot spring town, but it's not as painful to walk (it takes about 10 minutes to walk, so it may be hard for people who can't get used to shoes or geta). There are few restaurants near the hotel, and if you don't eat at the hotel, you need to go out to the hot spring town. Liquor such as beer is sold at the hotel, but it is expensive to buy it in the hotel. There is also a transfer car operated by the hotel, and the transfer from JR Shirosaki station is convenient. If you want to use it, please check the time zone well. (The hot spring town was also available in the evening) Please note that the underground facilities are closed due to the new corona virus infection (2020 8 month). The room also has a refrigerator, washbasin, toilet and bath, but the bath is quite small (I think I won't use it much because I use hot spring towns and hotel public baths). This time I used a plan with lunch box. I think it was very cost-effective with lunch boxes in the morning and evening at 1 million yen.

The hot spring hotel is about a 5-minute walk across from Jogasaki Onsen Train Station and next to Jizo hot spring. The location is very good. All the reception staff are warm and thoughtful, with a sense of ceremony. The rooms are newly decorated and the facilities are very modern and complete. Even the humidifier is filled with hot spring water. The check-in is full of rituals, and the hotel offers a unique afternoon tea. The hotel's private hot spring is also very good. In winter, it is equipped with an orange hot spring, and there is also very considerate ice tea for drinking in the hot spring. However, the quality of the food is good, but there are not many varieties. It is not really a kaiseki meal. It is just a small bug.

There was a shuttle bus to the hotel after jr came down. I was not too far away. The hotel service was very good, warm, dinner was good, the crab was very fresh, the beef was tender, and the food was full. If you have a small appetite, I recommend tempura That ’s right, there is a Chinese-speaking little girl who will carefully introduce when eating. There are two rooms facing the street below. It is very comfortable to sit and see the scenery below.

My wife and I had a relaxing holiday recently and a great experience at the Kawaguchiya Kinosaki Riverside Hotel. We took a train from Shin Osaka Station (2.5 hour) and a slow walk from the station to Kawaguchiya. (If you are following our route, when you reach the river, Turn Right and walk to the end of the road where you will arrive at a T junction, Turn Left. You will see a Idemitsu gas station, the hotel is just right opposite). The weather was cool that day and the town was quite thin in traffic. Check in was quite strict at 3.00pm, so we wandered out for a ramen lunch before returning again to check in. We had a Japanese room which looked out to Higashiyama Park and a view of the autumn leaves. We’d booked a half board package. The kaiseki dinner was elaborate and stunning - visually stimulating and delicious. Breakfast was equally well presented. Before dinner we’d put on the yukata robe and the geta clogs, took a walk to the onsen bath (Satono-yu) next to the train station. The geta is very uncomfortable but quite a fun experience walking round town in the Japanese attire. Staff are friendly and helpful. We’d requested for a adapter. The reception staff initially told us they don’t have any. We tried again and show them images of adapters and they came back with two boxes of adapters for us to choose. Overall we had a fun time and a relaxing holiday at Kawaguchiya.

GGuest UserOur favourite booking throughout our entire Japan trip! This inn is a family business so you can imagine how hospitable the entire family was to us this 2D1N. Regretted not staying 1 more day as the entire village was very relaxing. Room is super clean, yukata was provided for us to visit the public baths, access to all 7 public baths provided as well. We have everything we need with this inn! There’s also a private onsen in the hotel and the host was very helpful and nice about everything. He even went out of his way to send us to & fro the Kinosakionsen station… thank you so much we had fun and enjoyed it! Will definitely stay here again. <3

GGuest UserI recently stayed in Mikuniya Ryokan for my first experience in a ryokan, and I must say I was impressed by the traditional atmosphere and the careful service offered by the establishment. The staff were dressed in kimono and greeted with a friendly smile. The tatami and Futons offered a comfortable and unique sleep experience, and the ryokan also offers Japanese thermal baths, which was one of my favorite moments during my stay. The bathroom was very relaxing, with a beautiful view of the surrounding landscape.

GGuest UserThe hotel will send you an email a few days in advance to confirm some matters, such as when to arrive, whether to arrange pick-up, breakfast and dinner arrangements, etc. The hotel is quiet and beautiful, and the service is very good. There is hot spring soup in the hotel, so you don't have to go out to the so-called seven public hot spring baths. The hotel's hot spring has two pools, one indoor and one outdoor. You don't need to bring anything. The toiletries inside are Pola. Just put on the Japanese yukata and take the key to the door. It is much simpler and more convenient than bringing towels when going out. Besides, on such a hot day, 35-37 degrees, won't it be too hot to go out? There are too many people in the public hot springs, so there is nothing good about it. I booked half board including breakfast and dinner. There are two kinds of breakfast, Japanese style and Western style, at 9 o'clock at the latest, and it is ready when I go, and I am too full. I ate dinner in my own room, served one by one, the chef selected the ingredients every day, exquisite and delicious, and I was too full, haha. Needless to say, the service is top-notch. There are free drinks in the hotel refrigerator, water, juice, sports drinks, sparkling water, beer, and coffee, milk, and fresh juices on the first floor for free. The hotel also rents bicycles for free, just make a reservation. After riding for about 5 kilometers, you will reach the seaside in the north. There is also a small aquarium, which is probably a national park. Otherwise, leave it to you to see for yourself.

When I mapped out our November-December 2023 trip to Japan last June, I chose west of Kansai region and the northwest along the Sea of Japan where Kansai Wide Area 5-day Pass and Sanyo/San’in Area 7-day Pass would cover. When I came across Kinosaki on the map, I thought this would be the first place to begin our journey of “off the beaten path” (this was my 10th trip to Japan, my desire to travel off the beaten path was obvious.) Since Kinosaki is an onsen town, it makes sense to choose a traditional ryokan with on-site onsen. I found Onishiya Suishoen’s official website very helpful. The photos are genuinely impressive. It has all I was looking for: daily 10-course Kaiseki dinner with premium choices of Matsuba crabs, Tajima beef and local delicacies, along with traditional Japanese breakfast, can be served in-room or in a private dining room; indoor/outdoor onsen; a quiet guest room for two, with private garden views; free shuttle from the JR Kinosaki station; an entertainment lounge; a public sitting lounge with views of scenic Japanese garden; away from the busy tourist center. A free day-stamped pass to use in town’s seven historical public onsens, valid per day from 14:00 to 15:00 the following day; a daily shuttle offers to and from main area of Kinosaki town, from 16:00 to 22:00. These are extra bonus offers to the guests. The guest car parking is available. We arrived at the Kinosaki JR Station on a rainy day. After exiting the station I found the sign of hotels free shuttle across the street just as I was informed at the time of booking. A local coordinator was waiting outside the station and started taking names of the arriving guests. I gave her our hotel’s name and after about 10-15 min waiting we boarded a van and headed to the local hotels. Interestedly, most of the guests in the van are foreigners like we, all got off the last stop. Upon checked in we were told to leave our luggage at the front lobby area. We then followed the hostess to the public lounge waiting for an assigned staff to accompany us to the room and to get familiar with what they have to offer during the stays. When I booked this ryokan I asked for a quiet room and surely our room is at the end of the first floor hallway. During our two-night stay we had a personal hostess named Chiba. She catered our needs for the entire stay, served two meals a days, prepared beddings and replenished in-room services for us. On the second night she noticed we were trying to stack several cushions over the leg-less chairs to improve the posture comforts. She asked if we would prefer regular chairs and a raised table. When we said yes, she quickly popped up the table legs and brought us two chairs. We were so pleased with her attention to details. She did her best in English, explained our daily meal options and introduced each serving plate and sources of the ingredients. She was a very good hostess for us. On the first night we had seafood Kaiseki dinner with premium selec

The hotel is a bit far from the station. It is dark in Japan. The hotel can drive for free (reservation is required). I will leave at 7 o'clock the next day and I am very helpful. Thank you~

GGuest UserIn addition to the reviews here, the reviews of Rakuten Travel, which I booked, were highly rated, so I decided to stay. It was a very good inn according to word of mouth. I would recommend it to anyone. [Room] I stayed in a Japanese-Western style room with a bed because the practitioner was an elderly person with lame legs. It is composed of a twin bedroom and a Japanese-style room, but the Japanese-style room has a table and chairs instead of a low table and chairs, so it was easy to eat in the room. The washroom and toilet were conveniently located. There is no bath in the room, but the private bath was right in front of the room and it was easy to move around. In addition, the great thing about this room is the river view on the big screen of 8 high sash windows. You can see the Maruyama River and the mountain range on the opposite bank, and watch the waterfowl playing at your leisure. It is a superb view because it is located away from the hot spring town. [Bath] The hot spring bath is only an indoor bath, but like the room, it was a pleasant bath with a river view. In addition, there is a free private hot spring bath, which is convenient and appreciated for those who need assistance. It's a long walk to the hot spring town, but there's no need to worry about visiting hot springs, as a private car will pick you up at any time in the morning or evening. In rainy or cold weather, I think it's more convenient to stay at an inn in a remote location with a pick-up service than an inn in a hot spring town that doesn't have a pick-up service. [Cooking] It was crab season, but I had plans to eat it on another occasion, so I had a normal basic course here. Dinner was served in the room and was relaxing. It was a nice service that the last rice of the course can be chosen from Kamameshi or Kaisendon. Breakfast was a Japanese set meal at the restaurant corner, but only the soft serve ice cream for dessert was all-you-can-eat. Tsure, who likes soft serve ice cream, was delighted. I'm sure your kids will love it too. All-you-can-eat soft serve ice cream in the morning is like a dream (laughs). [Amenity] I was impressed with the ingenuity. Hot spring inns often have a small plastic bag with the inn's logo on it, which is used to bring small items to the public bath. The inside of this inn's plastic bag is divided into two, and even if you put a wet towel after bathing in one, you can put small items that you don't want to get wet in the other. I have stayed in more than 50 hot spring inns so far, but I was impressed with this style of bag for the first time. In addition, the bathing towels with the inn logo were also devised. Overall, the towels are white, but they have colored lines on both sides. There are other inns that have this kind of ingenuity, but I was impressed because there are not many inns in this price class. Changing the color of the towel or the color of the toothbrush may be troublesome and may cost money in some cases, but it is a consideration that is appreciated by the customer. An inn that pays attention to such details is a really good inn. [Hospitality] Everyone is very kind and pleasant, including the proprietress. There were a lot of things that made me feel that you are trying to be as thoughtful and creative as possible in the details. It is a very warm inn that is friendly to both the elderly and children. [Cospa] This time I used the national travel support, so I was able to stay at a good price, but I think the cospa is good even at the price without discount. Even after the travel support ends, I think you can still get great deals if you use Rakuten Travel discounts or stay on weekdays.

GGuest UserFirst of all, the food was very delicious. Especially the rice was really delicious. It is said that it is rice that grows storks, and it is said that it is rice that is cultivated without relying on pesticides and chemical fertilizers. All of the dinners were delicious with the impression that there were many twisted and elaborate menus, but the ingredients are good, so it seems that you will be pleased even if it is a little simpler. It was my child's birthday, so I added Tajima beef steak, but it was really soft and delicious. The Tajima beef ceramic plate grill has a thick sauce of burdock, but probably because I was old, this was lighter and easier to eat than the steak. The sashimi shrimp was also big, fresh, sweet and delicious, but I think it would be better if you could peel the shells. Children seemed to like steamed matsutake mushrooms in clay bottles. The children's menu is full of volume anyway. It may be unavoidable that it tends to be biased toward fried foods everywhere, but you may not need such fried foods. .. The hot spring is salty and warms up to the core of the body. However, the open-air bath of the women's bath can be seen from Marine World. Be careful when taking an open-air bath before Marine World closes. That is definitely visible. The staff were all kind to traveling with two mothers and children, and the rooms were large, making it a very memorable trip. The building itself is old, so I'm worried when I'm worried about everywhere, but I and my child were very satisfied. Thank you very much.

GGuest UserWe stayed at Tsuruya Ryoukan for a night, and had an excellent dinner and breakfast. The steamed crab and Tajima beef sukiyaki were especially wonderful. The service is excellent, and the inn is located within walking distance of two onsen! Just outside the inn, there is a place to make onsen eggs and a walkway filled with cherry blossoms. It was a really special experience!

KK LouThere is no breakfast nor dinner provided by this onsen hotel, and restaurants close a bit early. If you’re looking for an onsen meal, you maybe disappointed if you staying here. Beware if you’re a foodie. The sound insulation is poor, please keep your voice down. Since the first night I arrived was windy and rainy, and the curtain for blocking the sun is made of bamboo, it kept hitting on the window all night long. There is no elevators and the stairs is very steep, be careful if you bringing many luggages. Although the servers do not understand English, they are very friendly and willing to help! Overall, I enjoyed a lot while the staying. Thank you!
