Clean, efficient and simple hotel. Daily offer of free snacks or drinks. Washing machine and dryer available downstairs next to reception. Microwave is available for use too."

"Very nice Japanese hotel with good service and facilities (public hot spring bath where women and men are separate and several private hot spring baths that I recommend to book in advance). We also had an amazing massage in the hotel spa. The down side would be that the hotel doesn't offer western beds (only Japansese futons) and that the personnel doesn't speak very good English (but are very nice and are trying their best to help)"

"It's a lovely hotel in traditional Japanese style. It has a pretty inside garden and an onsen (no private onsens for booking, only common ones for all hotel guests that are divided for males and females). Hotel provides you with a yukata and a haori for your stay (you don't rent it, they are included in price), which is very convenient. When I asked the receptionist if I can buy them, 'cause I loved them so much, she said I can take them for free if I want. I double checked to avoid any miscommunication, but she insisted that I don't have to pay extra for those. Everything in the fridge, including alcohol, is free. Hotel is a bit far from the main street, but has a transfer, so I'd say it's fine. We ordered a dinner and breakfast, and both were absolutely wonderful, had several courses."

"We stayed at the hotel in October 2024. We took two rooms for two. Pros: 1. Magnificent rooms in the style of a classic ryokan: everything is very beautiful, authentic, lots of small details, notes and tips for guests, interesting trinkets in the room. We had beds, not futons, but this is not a minus - the beds are very comfortable. The view from the room (3rd floor) is of the mountains. The cleanliness is perfect, the room has everything that should be in a classic ryokan room: from tatami to a low table for relaxing. 2. Incomparable kaiseki dinner. Excellent sukiyaki breakfast (you cook it yourself). 3. The most beautiful interiors of the hotel, it is interesting to walk around it, exploring it from the inside. The hotel is beautiful from the outside too. 4. You can smoke in the rooms (we did not do this, and the rooms are not smoked at all). There is a smoking room at the entrance to the hotel. 5. Wonderful staff. All requests and complaints are satisfied within minutes. They speak English poorly, but it's not a problem, we communicated through a translator. The guys are cool, cheerful. Quick check-in, a bunch of reminders about where and when to come / what and how to do correctly. 6. There is a private onsen (we did not use it). 7. They give a free pass to 7 public onsen. They give discounts on souvenirs. 8. They give excellent yukatas for onsen, for women - they will give beautiful ones, the choice is huge. Nuances: 1. The only downside of the hotel is the distance from the center of Kinosaki (15-20 minutes walk through not very beautiful places). But! There is a free transfer from the hotel to the city center, plus there is a transfer station-hotel-station. And the walk from the hotel to the center of Kinosaki did not bother us much. 2. This is not a business hotel, so there is no washing machine, iron or shower in the room. The shower (and in fact - onsen) is shared on the minus first floor - separate for men and women."

"Our stay was pleasant in terms of the facility, food, and service. Only that the staff did not tell us we were only allowed to deposit our luggage before 9:50 the next day before we check out, which caused a huge inconvenience of ours. An elderly and I had to drag our big luggage to the entirely opposite direction to the train station to deposit and then came back to the side of the onsen temple. We were quite unhappy about it and it might be caused by the limited English ability of the staff, but other than that I'd still recommend this place!"

"It was a great experience. The boss was very enthusiastic and helped us take photos. There was also an old lady who helped us put on yukata. There are two hot springs in the store, one of which is open-air and very private. You can lock the door after entering so that no strangers will come in and take a bath. We chose the in-store breakfast, which included porridge, rice and side dishes, which was very light and delicious."

"As soon as you arrive at Kinosaki Onsen Station, you can feel the enthusiasm. The hotel has a dedicated person and a special car to take the guests to the door of the hotel. The receptionist at the front desk printed out the order information early, gave a warm reception, and introduced the situation of the town and the location of the fireworks that day. The room is a traditional Japanese room, and children like it very much. The room is large and has a private bathroom. The time for one stay and two meals is also set at the front desk. When the time comes, the food is well prepared, rich and the service is attentive. Unfortunately, I missed the time for the hotel's hot spring that day. I didn't have time to take a dip the next day, so I had to go next time. It's actually better to stay in town for two nights, it's very quiet."

"A very authentic Japanese experience! Plus I booked a kaiseki dinner, which was delicious and unusual for a European person. The food was very fresh and beautifully served. Used public and private onsen of the ryokan, both were nice."

"I traveled with my parents. The hotel service was very warm and I really felt at home. When we checked in in the afternoon, there was free afternoon tea. For dinner in the evening, we had snow crab + Tajima beef, and very delicious ice cream! I went to Gosho-no-yu and Ichi-no-yu in the town's hot springs, both were good. I also took a bath in the hotel's small hot spring, and it felt very good to take a bath alone! The hotel is highly recommended! One night stay with two meals, we stayed for RMB 4135 including tax. The small towns in Japan are really good, with few people, beautiful scenery, and not so fast pace!"

"Superb hotel, the scenery outside the window is beautiful, we live in a 5-person room, the room is very large. When I arrived at the station, the staff asked the hotel name, and then called the hotel to pick up the car. There was a special car service to the hot springs for the next two days. When you eat local specialty pine leaf crabs in winter, remember to add money to the hotel's full crab banquet. It's great. You have to make an appointment in advance. ～"
