Love this quaint little ryokan at Kinosaki! The service is friendly although not much English is spoken there. Expect the staff to introduce you the amenities of the ryokan such as the free first-come -first-serve private onsen (there are a total of 4, but recommend the one named Hana because it's the newest and the nicest). The room itself is tiny but comfortable. There is no shower in the room, so would have to take the shower at the onsen or at the ryokan's own onsen. The room package came with kaiseki (we had the snow crab one) and it was delicious with pretty looking food. The blanket was thick and comfortable, perfect for the cold weather. There was not much view from our room.

Overall it's very good. There's a shortcut to the main street. You can follow the hotel map or Google map. Keywords: After crossing the road, go through a tunnel. Follow the railway tracks to JR. Follow the river to the nearest Jizo-yu. It's a 10-minute walk. Pay attention to the shuttle bus schedule. The beverage bar is open in the afternoon and alcohol is only available in the evening.

One of the most luxurious hotels in the Kinosaki Onsen area, there is a shuttle bus to and from the station, seven hot springs, hot spring temples, etc. You can choose bathrobes and accessories, the room is very large, one bed, two meals, dinner and breakfast are high-end and sumptuous. The price is not cheap, but the service is first-rate and it is worth a try. Accommodation in the hotel includes coupons for seven outdoor hot springs. Very good Japanese-style hotel, newly renovated, the room bath is very new, the bed is very comfortable. Booked a one-night stay with two meals, dining in a separate small private room on the 1st floor, the room number is the same as the room number. When the JR station was approaching departure time, I found that I forgot to bring my backpack. After calling the hotel, the hotel immediately sent a car to deliver it, and we returned to Osaka on time. Special thanks~

The ryokan style rooms were a lovely touch. The inclusive dinner came with so many courses that we were absolutely stuffed every single night and the fact that a member of staff helps explain all the dishes and prepares them in front of us felt like a real lovely touch of authenticity and luxury. There are no individual bathrooms in the rooms aside from a sink and toilet but the hotel Onsen is easy to access and comfortable to use. The staff also make the bed after dinner every night and anytime we had questions for reception, they were always happy to help, especially with train station transfer and recommendations and vouchers for different restaurants in town. The hotel rooms have a great view of the mountains as it is slightly off the main road. I would definitely recommend this for couples traveling.

It was a great experience. The boss was very enthusiastic and helped us take photos. There was also an old lady who helped us put on yukata. There are two hot springs in the store, one of which is open-air and very private. You can lock the door after entering so that no strangers will come in and take a bath. We chose the in-store breakfast, which included porridge, rice and side dishes, which was very light and delicious.

SSvetlanaVery enjoyed living in this river! Excellent location, high level of service, very delicious dinner and breakfast. We were delighted with the public onsens, onsen inside the river too very much liked - it is great that there is an opportunity to come in the morning and warm before leaving.
The special advantage for us was that in the river it is allowed to live for guests with tattoos.

Regretted not staying 1 more day as the entire village was very relaxing. Room is super clean, yukata was provided for us to visit the public baths, access to all 7 public baths provided as well. We have everything we need with this inn! There’s also a private onsen in the hotel and the host was very helpful and nice about everything. He even went out of his way to send us to & fro the Kinosakionsen station… thank you so much we had fun and enjoyed it! Will definitely stay here again. ＜3

CCalse CThe overall feeling is very good, clean, comfortable, well-equipped, and the service attitude is excellent; the location is a bit far away, and you need to shuttle or drive back to the center or station when going out to the street; it is quiet enough to sleep beautifully. Our group of 4 adults and 1 child includes breakfast and dinner. Room 101 is the stable house, which is the largest room based on the floor plan. There is a pavilion and garden in the room.

1. Quiet, clean, and feel very comfortable as soon as you enter the room.
2. As soon as I parked my car, someone helped me pick up my luggage and get into the hotel. There was my name on the welcome sign in front of the hotel (there was also a name sign in front of the door for breakfast and dinner). I felt very valued; all the waiters were very kind and helpful, and some The waiter is a ********* student who came here for a trial internship, so communication is much easier. The hotel has a shuttle. When you go out for a walk, you can call wtsapp to be picked up at a designated location, which is very convenient.
3. As soon as we enter the hotel, someone will put away our shoes, and the waiter will take us to the hotel to introduce all facilities, lounges, hot springs, breakfast/dinner locations, yukata giving, etc., and also introduce nearby cafes, restaurants, and check-in slots. , 7 major hot springs outside and other details. If the hotel is listed, you can enjoy the 7 major hot springs for free. (I asked the waiter that there is no need to cover up tattoos in the hotel’s hot springs)
4. There is a pavilion in the room, which is very beautiful, and the photo check-in is excellent; the Japanese room is very spacious, and can accommodate 4 large luggages. One side is a Japanese room for sitting, and the other side is for beds. 5 people need to sleep in the same Japanese room. The two Japanese rooms can be separated by a sliding door. Be a little quieter; when we have dinner, the waiter will help us lay out the tatami. The dinner is very rich, so full that we can't walk, and it is so delicious (there are red snow crab and beef). From what I observed, the waiter at dinner and bed is The same person, the service is still excellent and meticulous, I admire you!
5. The latest dinner we choose is 6:30 (5:30, 6:00 and 6:30pm time slots are selected). There are fireworks to watch just after dinner (9:00pm). The icing on the cake is that they are set off at the station, so we have to go after dinner. Wear a yukata and enjoy the fireworks directly outside the hotel. The 5-minute fireworks are really beautiful, especially at this moment. After the fireworks, you can soak in the hot springs directly in the hotel. Note that the lounge closes at 10:00pm for drinks and snow. Bars are provided, but alcohol is charged. The hotel closes at 12:00am, so if you continue to soak, you can still enjoy the drinks in the lobby (only frozen water, frozen black bean tea and coffee).
6. I went to bed very early after soaking in the hot spring. The hotel opens at 5:30 in the morning, so you can take one more dip in the morning. Breakfast is at 7:30/8:00am, and checkout is at 10:00am after breakfast. Tip: Go to Kinosaki Sea World. If your children want to touch penguins or feed dolphins or related activities, please make a reservation in advance.

VVT_BTThe hotel is near to the train station, just 5 to 10 mins walk. The room was clean and tidy. Toilet seat, water basins, refrigerator, hot water boiling machine were provided. Staff prepared the Japanese beds for us in the evening. There were a sitting room, book reading areas, smoking room inthe.public area. Private session for private onsens were provided. A free of charge card for the seven hot springs and city bus was provided. The staff were nice and helpful. The environment was quiet and the beds were comfortable.

GGuest UserThe hotel is about a 400-meter walking distance from JR Kinosaki Onsen Station. It is located in the center of Kinosaki Town. It is convenient to go to various hot spring tours and the Kinosaki Onsen Cable Car. You need to change your shoes and put on slippers in the hotel lobby, and you can also wear clogs when you leave the hotel. I arrived at the hotel at 11:30 that day. Although it was not check-in time, the staff had already arranged the rooms for all guests that day and moved my suitcase to the room first. When I officially checked in, an elderly lady introduced me to the use of the tatami room, how to wear a yukata, and what to pay attention to when taking a bath in the outdoor hot spring. The hotel also has a hot spring bathing area on the 1st floor. Overall, it was a good experience of traditional Japanese hot spring culture.

GGuest UserVery nice Japanese hotel with good service and facilities (public hot spring bath where women and men are separate and several private hot spring baths that I recommend to book in advance). We also had an amazing massage in the hotel spa. The down side would be that the hotel doesn't offer western beds (only Japansese futons) and that the personnel doesn't speak very good English (but are very nice and are trying their best to help)

PPiwatUpon arrival, the hotel gave us 2 free tickets for aquarium next to the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful with parking valet and our luggage. The room we were in had an amazing view and it is spacious. It’s a Japanese style room and the staff had to come to put out futon for us around dinner time. Communal bath is big with an outdoor onsen. We noticed that they use salt water in the bath and onsen instead of chlorinated water like many other onsen hotel we have stayed in the past. There are 2 restaurants in the hotel but they open rather late at 7 and 8 pm so we didn’t get to try them. Breakfast were the same the whole we stay but they are pretty decent so there is no complaints. I would consider this to be one of the best hotel we have stayed during our trip there.

KK LouThere is no breakfast nor dinner provided by this onsen hotel, and restaurants close a bit early. If you’re looking for an onsen meal, you maybe disappointed if you staying here. Beware if you’re a foodie.
The sound insulation is poor, please keep your voice down. Since the first night I arrived was windy and rainy, and the curtain for blocking the sun is made of bamboo, it kept hitting on the window all night long.
There is no elevators and the stairs is very steep, be careful if you bringing many luggages.
Although the servers do not understand English, they are very friendly and willing to help! Overall, I enjoyed a lot while the staying. Thank you!
