GGuest UserThe environment is excellent, and I had a very comfortable stay. The window offers a great view, the room is spacious, and the ceiling height is good. I looked forward to coming back to the hotel every day. I visited Universal Studios for two consecutive days. The hotel is right by the JR station, offering a quiet escape despite being in a bustling area.

GGuest UserThe hotel's side entrance is conveniently located right next to Lawson, just off the subway. There's even a hot spring on the 31st floor! While it does cost extra, the price is reasonable, and you even get Haagen-Dazs. After a day of exploring, a good soak is a must. Plus, the hot spring provides Sekkisei toiletries and Refa hairdryers. One ticket allows for two visits, morning and evening, and you can even catch a glimpse of Universal Studios at night.

GGuest UserThe hotel environment is quiet and spotless. The location is super convenient, right in Namba, the heart of Osaka, with great transport links. The service is attentive and unobtrusive; anything I requested was promptly delivered to my room, and check-out didn't even require a trip to the front desk. Enjoyed the open-air onsen every day – very relaxing. I even had two online meetings on the front desk floor, and they kindly provided paper and water free of charge.

GGuest UserThis is a Japanese hotel chain; I had a good experience staying at one in Tokyo before! The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from JR Namba Station and also a 10-minute walk to Shinsaibashi. It's easily accessible from Kansai Airport by subway in about 40 minutes, and Universal Studios is 50 minutes away by subway. The surrounding area offers great convenience for dining and shopping. There's a FamilyMart across the street and a 7-Eleven next door. Daimaru department store, Ichiran Ramen, and Don Quijote are all within walking distance. It's a quiet spot amidst the hustle and bustle, making it a great choice for shopping and transfers. The hotel facilities are very new, and the service is excellent. Although the breakfast is simple, it's well-prepared. The hot spring bath is very small, probably full with just four people. Self-service laundry is 200 yen, and drying is free. The room is very compact; once you open your suitcase, it's hard to open the bathroom door. On the ground floor, there's a lobby where you can choose pillows of different firmness and heights.

MMin Min CuteI stayed at Hotel Monterey La Soeur Osaka and absolutely loved it. The hotel has a beautiful, slightly European Art Deco style and feels elegant from the moment you walk into the lobby. My room was spotless, cozy, and well-equipped, with a comfortable bed and a nice view of the city.
Location is excellent – just a short walk to Osaka Business Park and within easy distance of Osaka Castle, so it’s very convenient for both sightseeing and business.
The staff were genuinely kind, professional, and attentive. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and they were always ready to help with directions or questions. I also really enjoyed relaxing at the onsen/spa after a long day of walking.
Overall, a wonderful stay with great atmosphere, good facilities, and warm Japanese hospitality. I would happily come back here again on my next trip to Osaka. 🌸

AAnonymous UserWhenever we're in Umeda, the Hanshin Hotel is always our family's top choice. The rooms are spacious, and they even come with a decent-sized entryway. The cleanliness is consistently excellent. Its location is incredibly convenient, with JR and Hanshin lines right outside the hotel. Just two right turns from the hotel entrance, there's a fantastic ramen restaurant with a very noticeable sign. Highly recommended!

MMingmingshitianshiThe room was good. Although small, it was enough for a family of three. I booked a twin room, but it didn't have a bathtub. The hotel switched me to a room with a tub. The bed was smaller, but still comfortable enough to sleep in. After soaking in the hot spring every day, there were free ice cream sticks to enjoy to your heart's content, and Yakult in the morning. For this alone, it deserves a full 5 stars. The only downside was that the hotel had too many tour groups, all Koreans, and their etiquette was quite poor. In the hot spring area, I saw an elderly Korean woman scrubbing dirt off herself in the pool, and some people spitting... My goodness! 🤦♀️

GGuest UserConvenient walking distance to and from the Sakaisuji-Honmachi Station serving the Chuo Line [C] and Sakaisuji Line [K], makes for an easy thoroughfare to all parts of the city, Umeda, and Universal Studios, too. Great amenities are its upper floor Onsen on the 14th floor, along with the swimming pool and gym facilities for an additional (2 700¥) per visit. Room size is fairly spacious for solo travelers, but opt for beds for two persons or couples. The hotel does not have laundry facilities though the nearest laundromat is about 6-blocks away. Very clean and open 24/24.
This hotel has a chapel inside on the second floor for those who are observant travelers (for Christian devotees). There are several other temples and shrines all within distance from the hotel itself. Accommodations are very good from a short stay to a business traveler’s perspective or personal experience within this part of Osaka’s financial districts. Very lovely places for returning visitors.

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is excellent, conveniently accessible from either Nippombashi or Nagahoribashi subway stations. The best option is Exit 10 at Nippombashi Station, which has an elevator – perfect if you have heavy luggage and want to avoid stairs. Dotonbori is right across the street from the hotel, and Shinsaibashi is also very close, making shopping incredibly convenient. You can even walk to Namba Station, though it's a bit further, where you'll find Takashimaya department store, which is great for browsing. The hotel has a hot spring bath, which is popular with Korean guests, and offers unlimited ice cream and Yakult! The front desk staff are warm and polite, and some even speak Chinese. There's a FamilyMart convenience store downstairs, making it super easy to grab snacks. The hotel breakfast is bountiful, and the cleanliness is impeccable. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit.

KKukudefeiniaoThis hotel absolutely exceeded my expectations; it's almost on par with a five-star hotel. I've stayed in many capsule hotels, and this one is the best. The large public bath has everything you could possibly need, they even provide swim trunks! Razors, toothbrushes, hand towels, bath towels, pumice stones, exfoliating mitts, and multiple types of facial cleansers – they have it all. Can you believe there's even an open-air bath? They also offer massages, but those are extra. And seriously, they even have a blood pressure monitor! After showering, you can grab a drink and some noodles, which can be charged directly to your room. The luggage area has a huge packing table, with space underneath for oversized luggage (I didn't use it so I don't know if there's a charge). The lounge area has sofas for watching TV, and even a smoking section – it's incredibly convenient! Right outside the hotel is Umeda Higashidori Street, where bunny girls invite you to all-you-can-drink deals, and there are all sorts of food options around. The capsule itself is quite spacious, and the bedding is incredibly clean – I mean five-star hotel quality clean. I don't understand why the rating is low; for me, the only 'downside' is that there are too many amenities and services to explore before I had to check out. For a capsule hotel, the service is almost too much! One final friendly tip: you'll still need to buy your own toothpaste...
