11353262****This is a newly opened hotel, so the facilities are brand new. However, the mini-fridge in the room was incredibly loud, which disturbed my sleep. I had no choice but to ask housekeeping to switch it off. No one came to fix it the next day, so I couldn't use the fridge for two days. On the other hand, the concierge and restaurant staff were impeccable; they always greeted guests with a smile and were ready to help.

CChanyanudWe have just completed our final day in Osaka, and our stay at your hotel has been nothing short of exceptional. The property and its facilities are outstanding—immaculately clean, well maintained, and thoughtfully designed. The service throughout our stay has been truly impressive.
I would like to especially commend the Bellman team on the 1st floor. They consistently offered assistance with genuine warmth and never hesitated to help with anything we needed. In particular, the tall gentleman from Myanmar (my apologies for not asking his name) stood out for his excellent service.
Regarding check-in, although there was an initial oversight in reconfirming our booking benefits and communicating certain details, this was quickly resolved when we approached the counter again and met Kiki. He handled everything with calm professionalism and a refined, welcoming manner that reflects the standards of a luxury hotel.
I would also like to highlight the Chat Service team. Before our arrival and throughout our stay, they responded promptly and efficiently through the LINE application, assisting with every request—including detailed information about Osaka. Kudos to your entire Front Office team.
Our afternoon tea experience, with a window seat and wonderful tea selection, was another highlight. It made our last day truly memorable. We highly recommend it to future guests.
Well done to the Patina Osaka team. We will definitely return.

33001152460I was a bit worried after reading some reviews, but I decided to book it anyway because of the location, and I'm so glad I did! The rooms are big and clean, and housekeeping is very quick and efficient. The location is fantastic, right opposite Daimaru. Once you get your bearings, you can get to Hankyu via the underground passage really quickly without having to go above ground at all, which is also great for places like LUCUA and GRAND FRONT. A taxi to the Glico Man sign in Shinsaibashi and the Kani Doraku main branch only cost 2400 JPY. The only minor issue was that I booked two rooms and specifically requested no corner rooms, but we ended up with one at each end of the hallway. Luckily, the elevator to the first room requires a turn, so we weren't disturbed by any noise at night. The breakfast isn't super extensive, but it has all the essentials, so overall I'm very satisfied.

MmendongmeiDormy Inn is always a top choice for us when we travel to Japan. Practically every time we visit, we first check the location and prices of Dormy Inn hotels. We've stayed at this specific hotel and its chain many times. The hotel offers smoking rooms, microwaves, ice machines, a laundry room, and natural hot springs. On the first floor, there's a beverage bar where you can help yourself to coffee, matcha, and chocolate drinks. Toiletries like toothbrushes, toothpaste, and combs are also readily available. You can pack light when traveling here; the hotel truly takes care of guests' needs very well. The complimentary soy sauce ramen served from 9:30 PM to 11 PM is also quite tasty; they don't skimp on quality just because it's free, it's consistently good. We'll definitely prioritize staying at this hotel again on our future trips to Japan.

AAnonymous UserSurprising amount of amenities for a stay at this price. As long as you can deal with the occasional snoring (maybe bring earplugs if you need them), it’s kind of a steal. Apparently for only a little more there’s individual capsules, will have to try that someday.
If you’re used to visiting onsens/sentou’s just think of it as that and an extra capsule to sleep in. They even offer to hold extra luggage at the front desk, and you can keep it there after checkout, wasn’t sure they’d offer at this price! A great deal all in all, good local vibes. Good central location too.

I think it's better to think of this hotel as a training facility or simple accommodation rather than a general hotel.
About check-in
There is a long wait time for late night check-ins because only one staff member is handling them.
I had sent my luggage to the hotel in advance, but the staff did not inform me at check-in, so after going to my room, I had to go back to the front desk to check. After waiting in line for quite a while, I asked about my luggage and was told that it had not arrived, which was a bit of a problem, but they eventually found it. Since I had told them that I would be sending my luggage when I made the reservation, I wish they had handled it a little more smoothly. However, considering the low price and the fact that only one staff member was handling the situation, I thought that it was somewhat unavoidable.
About the large public bath
I stayed here because I was attracted by the fact that there was a large public bath, but the changing room was small and it was very noisy because it was often used by students staying at the hotel.
There were four hairdryers installed at the sink, but one was broken and a student had been using it for a long time (about 20-30 minutes because it was in use the whole time I was taking a bath?), so it took a while for me to get a turn.
Also, the open-air bath was very lukewarm, probably because it was after 11:00 p.m., and it was difficult to get in due to the cold wave. The indoor baths were at a comfortable temperature, but both were only large enough for 5-6 people, so it was difficult to stretch your legs when it was crowded. Since it was a circulating bath rather than a hot spring, I washed my body again after bathing.
About the rooms
I forgot to take a photo of the room, but it was relatively new, and although it was small, it seemed clean.
The unit bath was spacious and comfortable, but if two people stayed in a double bed room, the passage was so narrow that it was difficult for one person to go to the toilet if the other person was using the desk.
Overall review
I mentioned some harsh points, but as I mentioned at the beginning, for this location and service at this price, it is well worth it.
I would definitely use it again if I have the opportunity.
