The location is absolutely phenomenal! A shopper's paradise! Major malls and flagship stores are right downstairs, making it incredibly convenient to get all your favorite items in one go!
The rooms are incredibly spacious! In Japan, where space is a premium, the InterContinental's rooms feel like a true luxury. We booked a king room and even added an extra bed, and it still didn't feel cramped at all! The bathroom was also large and bright, and being able to lie down and gaze at Osaka's vibrant cityscape made it absolutely worth it!
The service was exceptionally thoughtful! From check-in to check-out, every single staff member was polite, attentive, and incredibly detail-oriented. The front desk, housekeeping, concierge... even the parking and luggage storage services were absolutely faultless!
When checking out, they even proactively offered to weigh my luggage. The most delightful surprise was when a staff member wished me ”Gong Xi Fa Cai” in Chinese – it felt so incredibly welcoming!
It truly proved to be a brilliant choice to stay at InterContinental Osaka! Next time I'm in Osaka, I'm definitely booking this place again!

DDangdixiangdaosumetzhaoxmThis five-star hotel, with over 30 years of history, is nestled between Hankyu and Umeda. The doorman's service was excellent, truly making guests feel at home. We booked a quad room with two generously sized beds. The bathroom was quite spacious, and compared to other hotels we stayed at in Japan this trip, despite the slightly older toilet, it was still very good overall. The hotel service was great, and housekeeping was thorough. There are several restaurants to choose from within the hotel, but just across the street, along the subway line, there's a fantastic food street with many small eateries worth trying.

TTangxiyunI highly recommend opting for the Executive Twin Room. The size and layout are much more suitable and comfortable. The standard room feels a bit lacking, haha. 😂 A big thanks to the Trip.com customer service for helping communicate with the hotel and resolving my issue!

GGuest UserThe hotel is in a great location, very close to Shinsaibashi, about a 10-minute walk away, and not far from the subway either, which is super convenient. The hotel facilities are complete and comfortable, and the service attitude is excellent, making it feel very welcoming. The room is also relatively spacious, bright, and comfortable, and the wet and dry separated bathroom is great. Everything is clean and tidy. This trip was truly wonderful.

ZZouzoutingtingkankan～～～～～Extremely convenient location right above a subway station, with a direct airport bus to Kansai Airport. The hotel is directly across from Parco and Daimaru department stores. The service was excellent; a staff member helped carry my luggage to the room upon check-in, and they assisted with luggage to the airport bus when I checked out. There was seamless Chinese-speaking service. I'd definitely choose this hotel again next time.

GGuest UserThe room was small but well-equipped, and the environment was pleasant. Its location offered great convenience for visiting Shinsaibashi and other places. The front desk staff were very friendly and provided thoughtful service. The room itself was cleaned very thoroughly. My main concerns were that the room felt a bit damp, making the duvet and bed feel moist, and the window only had blinds, which didn't block out enough light, impacting my sleep. Otherwise, everything else was good.

AAnonymous UserStrategic location, just attached to Osaka station. There is a connected lift at Osaka station underground. Amenities like skincare packed in an envelope, placed at a corner at lobby, not easy to spot it. Room is rather small in size.

LLizzie_8181Excellent location above Osaka Takashimaya, linked to Namba Station directly by lift. Getting to the hotel was abit confusing using google maps until we figured it out. Overall their location makes for ease of shopping & convenient offload the bags in the hotel room.
The check in desk was very professional & the bath tub was European size (we booked twin beds).
Of the 3 hotels that we booked in Osaka (&Here Namba, Universal Port Vita, Swissotel), Swissotel was the only hotel that could read & execute our consistent requests to push the twin beds together so our toddler could sleep in the middle. Thumbs up for their professionalism. There was also a pair of kid slippers laid out for our kid.
There is a friendly hotel bar (free entry, subject to opening hours in afternoon) on level 9 that allows one to play retro video games like Mario & board games etc. Our kid throughly enjoyed their hotel bar games.
As Swissôtel is a business hotel, there is no water pitcher in the room & no ice dispenser room. The toilet is a combined one-room facility. However, the rooms are quiet, the water pressure is great & everyone slept really well.

AAoniguiguiThe location is truly exceptional. Step right out, and you're practically in Umeda, Osaka's prime shopping area. Major department stores like Daimaru and Lucua 1100 are just a 5-8 minute walk away, offering a vast selection of brands and convenient in-store tax refunds. JR train access is also excellent; Universal Studios is less than 20 minutes away with a super convenient same-platform transfer. The airport limousine bus stop is also just a 3-minute walk, making airport transfers incredibly easy. The hotel was clean, and the service was attentive. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit.
