We went in late July, it was super hot during the day, but thankfully there was a shuttle service that took us everywhere, which saved us a lot of hassle. The first night, we ate at a restaurant recommended by the front desk, and the food was excellent. The second day, we went for the 'lazy' rafting experience, also recommended by the front desk. Although it was crowded, the experience was still fantastic! On the third day, before checking out, we visited the museum and went for a small stream trekking, which was incredibly relaxing. Overall impression: The entire scenic area has great aesthetics; whether it's the natural scenery or the architecture, there's nothing visually unappealing. The people we met and the scenic area itself were very pet-friendly. They treated our dog like family, making the experience very relaxed and natural. This place is also perfect for very lazy people. The hotel organized many activities and even reminded us in advance to join, which was very thoughtful. The breakfast was also delicious, clean, and fresh.

Our stay at SUNMIT NOOK Misty Wilderness was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with so much kindness and warmth. The room was very clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The view from the villa was absolutely amazing peaceful, breathtaking, and the perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. We also loved the thoughtful touches, such as the afternoon tea with fresh fruits and snacks. It made our stay feel even more special and welcoming. A special thank you to the lady at the front desk. She was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. She helped us arrange activities, recommended wonderful places to visit, and even kindly picked us up with her car after dinner. Her kindness and hospitality truly made a difference. We are so grateful for the wonderful experience and would highly recommend SUNMIT NOOK Misty Wilderness to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with beautiful views and exceptional service. We hope to visit again soon!

My parents have mobility issues and are elderly, so we booked a villa. It had underfloor heating and air conditioning, but their sleeping room was upstairs, which was a bit inconvenient for them as they had to climb stairs. There was a hot spring pool in the courtyard, and the butler even lit a bonfire and set out candles. The butler service was excellent; they responded immediately when called upon in the group chat. They also provided shuttle service to a nearby Tujia restaurant, which was very thoughtful. The scenery around the hotel was beautiful, but the nearby amusement park was a bit noisy. They offered complimentary afternoon tea every day 👍. The breakfast selection was a bit limited, and the bathroom facilities weren't as spacious or convenient as the hotel's. Overall, we were satisfied; the service and scenery were good. The restaurant's dinner was delicious, specializing in fine dining, but the portions were a bit small. For a large family, the fried rice we ordered was only enough for five people, so we ordered another serving. We ate two dinners, ordering different dishes, and none of them were bad; everything tasted great, and we were very satisfied. It would be best if future meals offered small, medium, and large portion sizes so that different groups could choose the appropriate portion. Overall, we were very satisfied and recommend it. The housekeeper said they're opening a new store this year, which won't be as noisy as this place. I'm looking forward to it.

I literally hate when I book a room looking at the picture and get something different in reality. I’m a fan of hotsprings , and when I planned this little getaway with my husband, the room with a private outdoor soaking tub caught my eye. According to the photos on Trip.com , the room had a spacious terrace and a cozy corner soaking tub. When we arrived , they gave us some middle room and the soaking tub was right next to neighbors’ one, separated by a short see-through fence, as if we were supposed to bathe all together. When my husband pointed this out to the front desk , they made up some excuse how all the rooms have the same photo on the website and how they can’t change our room saying someone already booked that better room. I can’t confirm but I had a feeling they were lying because I never saw anyone on the terrace of that room. This unpleasant experience aside, the hotel territory is lovely , they have a glamping area and the swimming pool. Very suitable for families to enjoy . We had a dinner in their restaurant and it was delicious . The Chinese traditional breakfast was included in the room price , it was very fresh and good as well. So in the end I’d still recommend this hotel but if you have a choice better not come during national holidays .

I found a sense of 'Mountain Living in Autumn Evening' here; all along the way, I heard the clear spring water flowing over the stones. Even during the peak National Day holiday, the busiest it got was at the breakfast restaurant, otherwise, it felt like scattered guests across the mountain retreat. This Daoist-inspired mountain dwelling is perfect for clearing your mind and letting go of the urban bustle. It rained continuously during my visit, but having shuttle services everywhere within the property made things very convenient. The room was spacious, with a woody aroma, and sitting on the balcony listening to the sound of water was incredibly pleasant. I personally think this place would be most comfortable, cool, and quiet in the summer. Our butler, Kai, was very responsive, which I greatly appreciated.

The hotel's environment, blending redwood forests and tea plantations, creates a serene and natural resort atmosphere. The infinity pool offers expansive views and perfectly complements the surrounding landscape, combining natural beauty with a luxurious experience. The service is meticulous and thoughtful, making for an excellent overall experience – an ideal escape from the hustle and bustle.

When we were leaving, we couldn’t find a taxi, and the manager personally drove us down the mountain. This level of service is rare and unforgettable. Throughout our stay, the staff were always helpful, kind, and attentive to every detail. It felt like we were not just guests, but truly valued visitors. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for outstanding service, warm hospitality, and a memorable experience. We will definitely come back again!

Our first trip to the summit of Anji Yunshang Grassland led us to a unique romantic hideaway in the Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai region: the 1168 Starry Sky Astronomical Hotel, perched at an altitude of 1168 meters. As the only mountaintop hotel within the Yunshang Grassland scenic area, it stands nestled amidst clouds and mist, with the Milky Way as its canopy. This isn't just a fleeting visit; it's an immersive experience, allowing you to dwell in the gentle embrace of the starry sky and sea of clouds. Our butler, Xiao Zhang, proactively contacted us via WeChat, providing a complete check-in process in advance. Since the hotel is located on the mountaintop, a cable car ride is essential. Xiao Zhang seamlessly coordinated all transportation: after checking in at the foot of the mountain, we were guided to a VIP cable car channel. A dedicated shuttle awaited us at the cable car's upper station exit, and we could call for a shuttle anytime for exploring within the scenic area. He also helped us redeem fast-pass privileges for attractions, allowing us to skip queues for popular cliffside activities, and provided a one-on-one explanation of the two-day unlimited park access. The service was truly attentive, enthusiastic, and thorough – definitely deserving of a five-star rating. My sincere thanks again to Butler Xiao Zhang for his warm service, and to all the staff members. A heartfelt thank you! You've all worked incredibly hard!

The room design was great, and both the elderly and children loved it. They even thoughtfully provided eye masks. The room had a smart smart control system and underfloor heating. Both the indoor and outdoor views were fantastic, especially the hot spring in the bamboo forest. The service was excellent; they responded immediately to every request, even late at night – thank you so much to the young man! Initially, the guesthouse had stopped providing underfloor heating for the first few days of our stay because it was getting warmer, but on the day we arrived, it got a bit cold, and my child liked to walk on the floor without slippers. The owner kindly turned the heating back on – thank you! We had dinner at the guesthouse: chicken soup, braised bamboo shoots, and braised catfish. The auntie cooked it very well; my elders still rave about it afterward, haha. Breakfast was rather home-style, but the auntie's soft-boiled eggs were delicious, and the young man's hand-drip coffee was also very good. One small suggestion: could the guesthouse consider allowing guests to choose between regular towels and disposable towels in the future? My child only made this suggestion about the towels, haha. Also, it would be even better if there was an absorbent mat in the bathroom. Overall, it's good, pet-friendly, and I recommend it.
