## Location Excellent. It's located right across the street from Exit B2 of HKU MTR Station. The surrounding area offers abundant dining and shopping choices, including local tea restaurants and a Wellcome supermarket. You can also explore the university campus or go hiking, and the seaside is just one MTR stop away. ## Facilities The soundproofing is decent. Although the decor is traditional, it's well-maintained with no stale odors. It's equipped with a water purifier, an air purifier, disposable slippers, and toiletries. The mattress is comfortable and the bedding clean. However, there's no dedicated shower area (the bathtub setup is a bit inconvenient), the toilet is a standard model (not a smart bidet), and the traditional hairdryer is somewhat weak. ## Cleanliness Impeccable. ## Service The front desk staff were proactive and patient, even offering to help with luggage. They were also accommodating when I requested a late check-out. The cleaning staff were equally polite and helpful.

The hotel is incredibly well-located. You can take the A10 bus directly from the airport, and the subway entrance is just around the corner. Downstairs, there are convenient stores like Maxim's and 7-Eleven, with Mannings and more shops upstairs. It's an older hotel, but it's exceptionally well-maintained and spotlessly clean. Disposable slippers, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and even a data cable are provided. The only minor drawback was the absence of complimentary bottled water.

I booked JEN for my trip to HKU this time. Initially, I booked for three days, but I found it so comfortable that I extended my stay for a few more days, ending up staying for a week in total. It's incredibly convenient; JEN is right outside the HKU MTR station exit. There's a traditional Hong Kong cafe (bing sutt) nearby for breakfast, and just one street away, you'll find tons of shops. It's super convenient for dining, grabbing drinks, and buying fresh fruit. I would definitely stay at JEN again on my next visit. The bed was also very comfortable, which I personally love as I prefer very soft beds.

I was in Hong Kong for a business trip, and this was my first time staying at Hotel Jen – I must say, it was excellent. The hotel boasts an unbeatable location, right next to the University of Hong Kong MTR station and very close to HKU itself, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. Nestled between the mountains and the sea, both the sea-view and mountain-view rooms offer fantastic scenery. From the mountain-view rooms, you can even enjoy views of Victoria Peak and HKU, while the top-floor gym provides breathtaking sea views. In a city like Hong Kong, where space is a luxury, the room was surprisingly spacious and fully equipped with all the essentials. The hotel's breakfast restaurant features a charming Southeast Asian-inspired decor, which was a nice touch. Overall, I found the hotel to be very good. The staff were also quite friendly and welcoming.

The front desk staff were excellent. I stayed on the 20th floor, and the cleaning staff on that floor, especially the lady from Nanjing, were incredibly polite and friendly. The surrounding area is very convenient, with plenty of dining options and numerous supermarkets. A word of advice: avoid buying groceries at 7-Eleven as they are significantly pricier than regular supermarkets. Even on the same street, fruit stall prices can vary, so it's worth comparing a few. The HKU MTR station is conveniently located right next to the hotel.

The service was friendly and housekeeping was prompt. No deposit was required for check-in, and even though the official check-in time is 3 PM, we arrived before noon and were able to get our room seamlessly. Our sea view room offered a great view. The location is excellent: right next to Hong Kong University MTR station, and the A10 airport bus stops directly downstairs, making transport incredibly convenient. It's also super close to the waterfront, and the trendy Kennedy Town is an easy walk away. The neighborhood has a strong local vibe, with plenty of authentic eateries easily accessible.

Room size is good and I really like the location and its proximity to the MTR station!

Stay at the Jen for many years due to the convenient location to central and the great view from the rooms and lounge . The hotel overall the restaurant and rooms could do with a full renovation by now. The welcoming and professional attitude from Jimmy at the reception with a genuine smile and Benjamin in the lounge making it a place of calm and true hospitality makes up for short comings and worn out facilities and random furniture in the room. Beds are still comfortable

hotel is just outside HKU stations..super convenient. We able to early checkin about 12 noon. we stay at v high floor and have a good victoria harbour view. nice far away there are ding ding tram . recommended

Unique location, 1 min to MRT Hong Kong university, many restaurants nearby. Wonderful services. Hope to come back again.

Location is a 4 min walk from MTR station. Room is reasonably spacious and nicely layout. Bathroom are equipped with hooks for changing clothes. Room are well lit. Had a very comfortable stay. Except for the pillow are too soft for my liking.

Great location next to HKU! Convenient access all around to the streets.

We had a pleasure stay here at JEN Hong Kong. LOCATION : Perfect! HKU Metro Station right next to the hotel. Lots of eatery and market around. Love the Polo Bun w Butter at Mountain Road Cafe next to the hotel. ROOM : Spacious for Hong Kong. Shower pressure is STRONG and we LOVE IT. SERVICE: I was so touched by the guy downstairs who helped me to get a cab because i had no idea how. It was so hard to get one and he spent almost 10-min stading on the street waving and to get me one. I was deeply touched. Thank you sir.

The hotel should feel ashamed to call themselves a Shangrila hotel group. Room was dark and carpet was very dirty. Bathroom smelled as if toilet was not cleaned for long.
