The room is small but similar to other hotels in Japan.
Japanese home-cooked meals were provided, and both breakfasts had almost the same menu.
They give you a ticket to use the hot spring right next door for free. Ocheon is open from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m., but admission closes at 9:15 p.m.
For dinner, a simple menu is served until 9 p.m.
A car is essential as there are no other amenities nearby.
Convenience stores are within walking distance, but restaurants and supermarkets are far away so walking is difficult.
It's the perfect place to enjoy a quiet morning and evening hot spring bath.
It was a very clean, bright and quiet inn.
I was able to relax in a simple room.
It's conveniently close to Kamiarita Station, and is a great place for touring Arita ware.
However, please note that there are no convenience stores or places to eat within walking distance of Kamiarita.
I arrived in the evening, so I brought plenty of stock with me, including bento boxes, drinks, and bread for breakfast.
There is a small refrigerator in the room,
and a shared kitchen and microwave, so you can make simple meals yourself.
If you're planning on touring the pottery studios, renting a bicycle or car is a must.
If you have to stay in Arita for the night, this would be one of the quiet comfortable options to go for. The rooms are built out of containers, and the decor is a little more on the ”industrial” side, but the rooms are comfortable, with ensuite bathrooms and all the usual amenities provided. Breakfast is western, but with Japanese attention to detail. Rooms are not exactly cheap but the hotel is located right smack in Arita Sera, where all the pottery shops are congregated, for those who want to roll out of bed to do pottery shopping. Not much else. So, recommended just for a stopover night.

About 2 minutes on foot from Haiki Station. It has 7 floors, with the front desk and restaurant on the 1st floor, and the ceremonial hall, banquet hall, and meeting room on the 2nd and 3rd floors. The room is slightly larger than a normal business hotel. The room is a smoking room, so the smell of cigarettes lingers strongly. Nightwear is a gown type. Although it is cleaned well, there are traces of repairing cracks on the tiles in the bathroom, the bathtub apron is about to come off, and the area around the washbasin is terribly dirty, probably due to aging. Single room is 6,900 yen per night. Considering that there are no competing hotels in the area and it is close to the station, is it a reasonable place?
Location: Far from JR but very close to the bus terminal, only 5 minutes away. And the hotel provides free pick-up service to the bus terminal, bus transfer station and JR, so it is not a problem.
Facilities: Because the hotel is a bit historical, it is relatively old, but the facilities are sufficient, except for the simple equipment in the room. The old place is that many locations have faded and peeled off. After all, there is also a period of time from the last decoration.
Food: Booked one berth and two meals, dinner and breakfast are buffet style, choose the most basic set meal, there is no seafood available. Most of them are Japanese cuisine, taste can be, choose normal, surprise is that each one provides a small stove and steamer, you can burn, cook food by yourself, but there are not many choices, and only one small candle is provided, heating slowly, and soon used up, no additional service is provided.
Service: First of all, the pick-up service is very considerate. Before departure, because you have to take a direct bus from Fukuoka Airport to Hino, there is only 45 minutes in the middle. I am afraid that I will not catch the bus, which will affect the check-in time, and I am afraid that I will not catch the last shuttle service (8pm). I have been in touch with the hotel for advice and solutions, very thoughtful. On the way to the bus, I also emailed the hotel my status, the hotel reminded me of the correct drop-off point and asked the staff to pick up and drop off at the location (because I chose another location for the reservation). It was dark after getting off the bus, but the staff had been waiting and came forward to confirm that it was very considerate.
The counter staff is also considerate and courteous; but the restaurant staff is a little weaker than the comparison, I don't understand English very well, but it seems that the stove that burns food needs a lighter, the lighter is not easy to find, and the staff is not very concerned when they take it. It may be because they are too busy. After all, there are only 2-3 employees. Instead, many times it is reminded by Japanese passengers next to it.
Overall: There is a hotel that provides one berth and two meals in Hino. This is considered to be a high cost performance. The price of other homes is relatively high and may have higher quality, but this one is worth the fare at this price, location and provide pick-up. Finally, the hotel bathrobe I have used in different places in Japan the most cute and beautiful, made me fall in love with the bathrobe.
The room is not good with a good view, but it is very simple and clean. It is good that hot springs are drawn into the room bath. The meal was served at a dining room where the table was partitioned. It was very delicious in the morning and I found that I was making one piece of one hand. I thought it was good to stay at this hotel with originality. The staff was very nice and I was impressed to chase and deliver the map when we tried to go out for a walk. Also, I dropped my chopsticks on the floor at the time of meal, but the staff who was talking to the nearby table guests brought me a chopsticks before I called from here. You've noticed it with sound. There were several kinds of shampoos and treatments in the bath.
I came by car from Kansai at the end of the year and stayed for 1 night. The inn of Karatsu in the previous night was very good, so there were many points that were disappointed for the high price. I imagined a quiet and relaxing space because there were only 19 rooms, but the lobby was small, there was no sofa, the child was noisy, and there was no place to relax from the bath. Come from the parking lot and tell the name at the receptionist and check in. There was an explanation while eating sweets, but it was a response that only said. It was a business hotel correspondence that checked out and returned home freely. I was lined up at check-out, but it was very unpleasant to respond to the person who came later. The meal was original and great, but the room for the meal was made like a tavern chain, and the conversation next door was heard next to the ear. I didn't know where to enter the room, and I was sad because I had to call the staff and ask them. The parking lot was not managed at all, and the cafe guests and day-trip guests were mixed, and the car was hit by the back in front of me.

In a word, a wonderful inn. I only had breakfast and stayed in a separate Japanese-style room facing the garden for several nights. The room is a Japanese-style room of about 8-10 tatami mats facing the garden, with a small hot spring hot spring cypress bath and toilet, and a middle seat sofa set on the window side. The fixtures and fittings are old and some problems are in the room, but clean and good. (Two problems, poor TV contact and poor toilet flow) There are two large communal baths in the hot spring, one is a large bath that can take a day trip bath, and there are plants, and the ceiling is high and some are glass-walled and bright. The other is small and new, exclusively for guests, but I'm a little worried about chlorine. Since all rooms are hot spring water supply, both are not crowded and easy to enter. The hot water was a beautiful hot water type that became transparent and a little salty and smooth skin, and it was a very good hot water that warmed gently. The large communal bath feels a little chlorine, so the hot water in the room is the best for the quality of the spring, but the large communal bath is comfortable after all, and it is recommended because there is a feeling of satisfaction that I took a bath. The meal was only breakfast, but it was delicious and satisfying every day with almost perfect Japanese Japanese breakfast. I was happy every morning to have rice, miso soup, specialty hot spring tofu, grilled fish, simmered food, and * dishes made with chitin from the morning. Thank you for your consideration of changing the contents every day. It was a little disappointing that the only white rice tends to be dry. What impressed me very much was the consideration that I was surprised at the consideration that I had you change to different kinds of things such as tea sweets, flowers, and bowls every day. All the tea confectionery is delicious, and I am even more impressed that it is selected by tasting it with chitin. From check-in to check-out, the staff feel good from beginning to end, and we are grateful for your quick arrangement and consideration. I would like to visit you again. Thank you very much.
