"The location is truly excellent, just a few minutes' walk to the night market. However, being in the city center, it was incredibly noisy. The rooms had virtually no soundproofing. There's a bar on the rooftop, and downstairs, two more bars with flashing screens and hostesses standing outside played incredibly loud music. (Even after informing the staff and being moved to the 31st floor, which was considered a 'better' floor, the noise was still audible, which tells you something.) If you plan to stay here and prioritize quiet, make sure to request a room on the side, away from the direct sea view and not facing the main road – that would be much better. Unfortunately, the hotel was fully booked during our stay, so there wasn't much they could do. The service, however, was quite good. The staff even came up to listen to the noise, apologized, and offered to move us again the next day. We were staying for three nights, and the first room on the 41st floor was also very noisy, prompting an initial room change. By the second day, changing rooms again felt too exhausting, so I just put up with the noise for the remaining two nights. Breakfast was excellent: a wide variety of delicious options, and even during peak times, we never experienced any queuing issues. Despite the noise issues, I would still highly recommend staying here."

"For the price, this hotel is simply amazing! Everything is new and clean, it's a real pleasure to be there. It's a 5-minute walk to the beach. It's centrally located, yet quite quiet. The staff is very helpful; I booked a comfortable airport transfer through them for 350,000 dong. The breakfasts are delicious. The only downside is there's no iron, neither in the room nor at reception. So bring your own or request ironing service (the price is reasonable)."

Our room was spotlessly clean, with fresh white linen and a super comfortable mattress. Housekeeping did an amazing job. And the view from our balcony… just wow. I could have stayed there for hours just admiring the peaceful beauty of the sea.
The pool area is another highlight — the water is pleasantly warm and incredibly clean, with no harsh smell of chlorine. Everything feels thoughtfully maintained and elegant.
We didn’t want to leave — and we’d come back a thousand times over. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a peaceful, luxurious beach getaway with top-notch service."

"The hotel locates nearby the walking street at the heart of Nha Trang. The room is spacious with balcony. The bathroom is unfortunately stinky. Amenities including shower cap, cotton buds, comb, toothbrush with toothpaste are fulfilled everyday. The buffet breakfast is good. Variety choices of food and drinks are provided.
The only drawback is about the drinking water in the fridge and the fridge did not work properly. They did not tell that two bottles of water there, were not complimentary and would be charged when check out for 15k VND each."

Amazing
SSI am still in Nha Trang. I booked 4 hotels for total 8 nights in Nha Trang. Novotel was the third hotel I stayed. Currently I am staying at the fourth. Of those four hotels I stayed (or staying), Novotel is the hotel I would visit again in the future. It isn’t the most expensive hotel of the four. But in terms of the benefit/cost ratio, Novotel comes the first.
1. Location is great. It’s located at the heart of Nha Trang, right in front of the beach. There are many restaurants near by.
2. Hotel has several parasols and chairs on the beach. They are free for the guests. Very convenient.
3. The staffs are great. Someone stole my passport right after check-in. I visited a massage shop before my room gets ready. And massager stole it while I was lying face down. (The massage shop was recommended by a hair cut shop right across the street. Be careful.) Of course I was mentally shaken. But the staffs were so helpful. They were concerned about my situation, and didn’t hesitate to lend me helping hands. They even proactively prepared some documents, in case I come across unforeseen situations. This sort of considerate gestures helped me calm down. This was a classy service. Also I can sense they shared my information to see they were so ready.
I stayed at a cheaper hotel before Novotel. It had a bigger and newer building. These are what I experienced. It took three phone calls and three staff visits over two hours to open a safe that was locked from the beginning. And so many group tours. I was constantly surprised by their loud voices during the breakfasts. I even saw 5-6 shirtless young men sitting in front of the hotel chatting. No one stopped them. I was shocked. And those attitudes of front-desk staffs…. Don’t get fooled by photos.
There was one person I wanted to thank before I leave Novotel. But he wasn’t on duty….
And yes, it was strictly massage. What are you thinking?

New very clean and welcoming hotel close to everything (downtown, beach 1 block away, shopping, restaurants & eateries, etc..) but so quiet and peaceful at the same time.
Great large rooms with sea view with very comfy beds, plenty of space, efficient and silent air conditioning system and a very large and hi-tech TV. Nice bathroom with a good shower. Great noise insulation :)
Very well equipped Gym and great indoor but open swimming pool and even a kids/babies section...and a bar. All extremely enjoyable.
Great buffet breakfast in the morning from 6 to 10 AM with a lot of choices though the main focus is on Asian options at least for the warm items. Plenty of fresh fruits and salads as well as a good sized sweets section. Pho (vietnamese noodle soup) and egg station with great service.
The staff are the superstars. Wonderful very attentive management and top customer service at every level and in every corner of the hotel. Very professional, friendly, welcoming and so helpful. Truly exceptional even by Asian hospitality high standards. I can only very warmly recommend based on my amazing experience at the Sea Soul in December 2024.

The amenities and privileges in the Royal Suite surpassed those offered by other five-star hotels. Each morning, we received a dedicated basket of pastries and fresh fruit for breakfast. The afternoon tea was thoughtfully prepared. This also extended to complimentary evening cocktails as part of the executive privileges.

GGuest UserThis time back, everything was fine, except that I asked the receptionist in the morning to note down her phone number so that if I could check in early, I could call her. Because I arrived early that day, I rented a motorbike to drive around Nha Trang, but by 12 o'clock I still hadn't received a call and I was tired so I went back to the hotel to rest and wait for check-in time because the weather was hot and dry. Somehow, while waiting, I saw a foreign tourist just getting off the car, their luggage was carried in, and they went straight to check in and went to their room. When the Western guests were finished checking in, the female receptionist who replaced the male receptionist noticed me and asked me questions, then let me check in. Vietnamese people who went there felt discriminated against.

GgaoshanzhaofengThe room size and layout were excellent, making for a very comfortable stay. The location is also fantastic, convenient for dining and shopping, and the area is quite lively. Breakfast offered good variety, with the menu changing daily.
Now, for a few minor downsides, just for your reference. Having visited Nha Trang three times before, all my previous hotels provided complimentary beach chairs and towels on the beach. This hotel, however, does not offer free beach chairs; they charge 300,000 VND per chair per use. This is an expense that could be avoided when staying at comparable hotels in the same price range.
Secondly, most hotels in Nha Trang (excluding those on Vinpearl Island) typically require a passport or a 300 RMB cash deposit at the front desk, which is then refunded after room inspection at check-out. While check-out at other hotels has always been smooth, this hotel attempted to deduct from my deposit, claiming three spoons were missing during the room inspection.
As someone with a strong aversion to using hotel items (I bring my own sheets, pillowcases, tooth mugs, toothbrushes, etc.), I certainly wouldn't use hotel spoons. Furthermore, although the hotel didn't provide an inventory list, I distinctly remember not seeing any spoons when I checked in. They were never present or used during my four-night stay. After a lengthy discussion with the front desk, I eventually got my full deposit back.
It's not about being unable to pay a fine, but being unfairly accused of stealing left a very sour taste. Importantly, cutlery is available at breakfast. In such hot weather, I wouldn't even drink hot coffee, so a coffee spoon would be completely useless to me. Who would take it? And how can they be sure housekeeping didn't simply forget to place them in the room? Staying in a suite for four nights, do they really think I can't afford a spoon? I can't help but wonder if this incident was a result of certain individual staff members' actions.

HHanzo HattoriOur family’s stay at the Nha Trang Marriott Resort & Spa on Hon Tre Island was a blend of breathtaking natural beauty, luxurious accommodations, and a few areas needing improvement.
The island itself is a tropical paradise—picture serene, crystal-clear seas teeming with vibrant marine life, coconut palms heavy with fruit, and lush groves of mangoes and bananas.
The air is perfumed with the scent of exotic flowers from the island’s diverse trees, creating a serene backdrop that feels like stepping into a postcard.
The resort itself is visually stunning, offering a range of accommodations to suit different needs. The villas are a highlight, with spacious double, triple, and quadruple bedroom options, many featuring private pools that elevate the luxury experience. The main building offers a variety of well-appointed rooms with modern amenities, catering to couples, families, or solo travelers.
The expansive beach, paired with jaw-dropping sea views, is a standout feature, perfect for soaking in the tranquility or enjoying water activities.
Dining at the resort is a delight, with a wide array of options to satisfy every palate, including thoughtfully prepared halal dishes. Whether you’re craving local Vietnamese flavors or international cuisine, there’s something for everyone. However, the “Sands” restaurant had a notable downside: the far corner, where dirty dishes are collected near the coffee machines and Vietnamese coffee station, was unpleasantly odorous, with dirty walls and shelves that detracted from the otherwise pleasant dining experience. Management should address this promptly to maintain the resort’s high standards.
Service was generally acceptable, but there’s room for improvement. While some staff members, like the exceptional Lisa at reception, were superheroes—quickly resolving issues with clarity and professionalism—others seemed undertrained.
The guest relations team, in particular, could benefit from better selection and training to match the resort’s luxury positioning.
Housekeeping was a mixed bag; we observed some staff working diligently, but the cleaning quality in our villa was inconsistent, with noticeable lapses that left us disappointed.
Facility-wise, the resort’s infrastructure needs attention. Shower heads and bathroom faucets were subpar, and poor drainage in the showers caused water to pool, which was frustrating. Additionally, the beach, while stunning, was littered to a surprising degree—comparable to a public beaches like Miami’s. Given the resort’s emphasis on nature, we were surprised by the lack of regular beach cleaning.
I recommend management invest in sand-cleaning machines and implement a routine maintenance schedule, perhaps every two weeks, to preserve the island’s pristine beauty. A gentle reminder to guests: please help protect this natural gem by keeping it clean!
Overall, the Nha Trang Marriott Resort & Spa offers a luxurious escape in a breathtaking setting, with diverse accommodations and dining options. However, management must address staff training, facility maintenance, and beach cleanliness to fully match the resort’s potential. We’d return for the stunning views and Liza’s stellar service, but we hope to see improvements for an even better experience.

YYiwozhiming，jixuqianxingI stayed here for one night. The room was very spacious, though the bathroom was a bit small, it was still acceptable. The room came with instant coffee and green tea, which I enjoyed, along with bottled water, a safe, and a refrigerator. From the window, I could enjoy mountain views, and the room was generally quiet. Overall, the in-room facilities met my needs.
The hotel offers a complimentary gym and an outdoor swimming pool. It seemed to be mostly used by Russian guests, but they were generally quiet. There's also a spa available for a fee.
The hotel provides a complimentary buffet breakfast, served daily for about 3 and a half hours in the morning. The buffet featured a wide variety of dishes, including local Vietnamese options like pastries and pho (which were palatable for Chinese guests), stews and fried rice catering to Chinese tastes, as well as bread, jam, and salads for Western guests.
Some front desk staff could speak Chinese, and the service staff assisted with luggage.
Compared to hotels closer to the beach, the location is a bit more secluded, and the surroundings seemed somewhat undeveloped. However, it's not too far from the beach. Considering its affordable price, everything the hotel offered was already excellent and commendable. If I have the chance in the future, I would like to stay here again.

GGuest UserHotel breakfast was good. Service was good. Cleanest was good. Location was good near the beach. Was disappointed that my daughter’s sweater was missing after the room was made. Tried the front desk to check if anyone had returned it but was unsuccessful. It wasn’t a big deal but it left a bad impression for my daughter. :(

RREES DAVIDFor the price, exceptional. The room did not entirely match the pictures provided as the balcony provided was very narrow, so narrow in fact that a chair could only fit if placed sideways. The furniture in the room was also not well arranged, placed together at the end of the bed. All in all though, for the price, this is really an unbeatable offer. Staff at the desk were friendly and attentive, we encountered none of the issues with waiting mentioned in other reviews. The room was clean and the location was excellent. Despite a minor complaint about the balcony I wouldn't hesitate to return.
