Hotels in Wulin Square Area, Hangzhou

The location of the hotel is very convenient. You can walk to the pier to take the canal boat and walk to museums nearby. We also walked to the west lake, about 1.4 km. The breakfast is good (Chinese style). We went during Chinese holidays and the hotel was full, people took all the pudding as soon as it arrived, but the hotel kept refilling. The room was very comfortable, big, with a bed and a nice view of the city (13 floor). The cleaning lady was very patient and cleaned our room past mid-day. The receptionist kiki helped us in English using WeChat translation, and gave us a lot of information on the walking tours to the west lake, pagoda and canal.

Got the highest level room, at 24th storey - believe an upgrade was given tho the front desk did not mention. Appreciate the nice gesture. Had a 2 comfortable night with the hotel. Room is high tech with curtain control. Bidet is also present, totally amazed. Best thing about the hotel, separated toilet from showers. Nearby the hotel is a local supermarket. Right at foot of hotel is a convenience store. Opposite is a couple of pharmacy. Train station exit is just right along the main road pathway, 1min accessible. There is also Tim Hortons in the building. Other bubble tea is also around the hotel. Definitely liking this hotel that i'm booking it again for my return trip. Only negative about this hotel is pick up and drop off point for DiDi etc is along the mainroad on bike lane, which can be dangerous since many bikes are around all the time.

**Merchant Marco Hotel, Hangzhou** Our stay at Merchant Marco Hotel was enjoyable overall. The location is a major highlight—it’s very close to the train and metro stations, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. It’s also within walking distance to Hangzhou’s main attraction, **West Lake (西湖)**, which was perfect for sightseeing. The hotel layout felt a bit aged and the rooms were slightly smaller than we’d prefer, but the in-room facilities were modern and well-maintained thanks to recent renovations. The staff were friendly and helpful, adding a welcoming touch to our stay. The international breakfast included with our booking was a pleasant surprise, offering a wide variety of dishes with above-average taste. It was a great way to start our mornings. While the hotel could use some updates in terms of space and overall layout, the convenient location, updated amenities, and excellent service made for a comfortable stay. We’d consider staying here again for future trips to Hangzhou.

The location is very convenient for visiting the city. The room we stayed in was large and clean, and the staff was very courteous. Although almost no one spoke English, we managed to communicate using a phone translator. We requested laundry service, and they were very quick to return our clean clothes within a few hours. The breakfast was very varied and good.

I intended to book the cheapest room available however it came to my attention that the available room unfortunately had no windows which i was really hoping to get. But seeing that i was a foreigner and it was my first time, the receptionist was very kind to upgrade my room. Inside the room, there was an appeasing atmosphere and the presence of a bathtub made it even better. During the night, I especially let the curtains wide open because the city view is splendid. If i have the opportunity to visit Hangzhou again, i will definitely book this hotel again.

Well located hotel, walking distance to the lake. The staff are fantastic, giving us directions and walking routes. The breakfast has a wide variety of food and overall satisfying.

The most satisfying booking in recent years It is perfect for a mother like me who travels to Hangzhou with two kids It meets all my requirements. Clean and new, not crowded and old Close to the subway, away from the downtown but with convenient transportation Not messy but with a good shopping mall next to it. All are met😌! The next day we changed to a parent-child room, and the children were so happy when they entered the room. You get what you pay for. The gift arrangement is great. It's a pity that we played outside every day and didn't have time to enjoy the swimming pool and free afternoon tea.

This time I came to Hangzhou on a business trip and stayed at the Wulin Square Eastern Software Park Light Hotel under Atour. The experience was great! The courtyard-style layout and fresh and vibrant blue tones are very much in line with the aesthetic tastes of young business travelers. The front desk checked in quickly, and took the initiative to help upgrade the room type and share nearby good places. The room has perfect details, comfortable bedding, reasonable layout of lighting and sockets, and high-quality bathroom facilities. Room service was very responsive, we requested a blanket in the middle of the night and it was delivered within 10 minutes. The hotel courtyard is quiet, the breakfast is rich, and there is a 24-hour self-service laundry room. Next time I come to Hangzhou, I will definitely choose this place!
