Country Village Estate was absolutely amazing! Our stay there a few months back was filled with incredible memories that are just unforgettable. The moments we shared there are deeply etched in our hearts and will stay with us forever. Truly, it's one of the most precious memories of our lives!” ”The property near Auckland, New Zealand, is just breathtaking. It's got these vast meadows, blooming flowers, fruit trees, and a classic English style to it. It was a totally dreamy setting. The hosts, Mable and Danny, were so friendly and provided excellent service. The breakfast was a real visual treat! Staying here means you get to enjoy European charm, rural peace, fresh air, and sunny skies. It's a must-visit, and we'll definitely be back next time we travel. I'd recommend extending your stay if you can. I give it a perfect 10 out of 10!”
We enjoyed our stay very much at this gorgeous bed and breakfast. The bedroom was very spacious, clean, and decorated elegantly. The view from our room was amazing: the lake in the distance and a fountain and sculptures below on a huge green lawn. The bed was very comfortable with good bedding. We loved the bathroom facilities, including a robe, slippers, lotions, nice shampoo, conditioner, shower, and bathtub. Dinner and breakfast meals were delicious and nicely presented. The staff were amazing. Darsh and all the staff went out of their way to make our stay special. I could tell they worked hard to please guests. Do be aware that if you are older, it's a property with steep stairs. Staff will carry luggage up for you.
As Wyndham owners, this was our first stay, and unfortunately only for 1 night - we'll definitely be back to stay for a few reasons - the staff were great, the units clean and well appointed, with full kitchen. We stayed in a 2 bedroom unit on a canal, with bedrooms/bathroom upstairs, lounge downstairs. The unit had a good sized deck overlooking the canal, where some guests had moored their small runabouts to use on the lakes. For boat owners, this is an ideal base because you can access both Lakes Rotoiti and Rotorua from the Ramada's private launching ramp into the canals. We will definitely be doing this for our future stays. We had dinner at the onsite restaurant which was wellpriced and our meals were faultless, and service friendly and prompt. Three of us had the scotch fillet - tender and tasty, and one had the seafood fettucine which was reported as being the BEST they'd ever had. The fireplace was alight, with comfy leather sofas to lounge on with a pre- or after dinner tipple. Other facilities/activities include tennis courts, table tennis, gym, outdoor chess, bikes, pool and spa. While we didn't use any of these during our stay, we definitely will next time.

We held our annual conference at the VR Rotorua Lake Resort in May. From my first contact about holding our conference there, during the stay and after we have received fabulous communication and service. The whole team was very accommodating and I received fabulous reviews from our team of 30 including but not limited to, Awesome food, amazing rooms, great service. Personally I had a small issue with my room and upon speaking to House keeping about it I had someone from the maintenance team there within 10 minutes to sort for me. The conference room was great and tended to very well. The lunches and 3 course dinner were fabulous. A huge thank you to Rolando, Nick and the team for making our conference the best yet !!
It is the best hotel I have stayed in New Zealand. No one! ! Although the location is not in the city center, it is not a problem because they are a paradise so they should stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city! ! And they are not far from the middle area, right? ? Friends who drive really recommend staying here. It takes only eight or nine minutes to drive to the center for dinner. And it’s a really beautiful place. Opposite the room is a large piece of clean grass with small animals on it, which are very cute! ! And they are all clean? How is it done? ? The lady boss is really super nice and gentle, one of the most beautiful smiles I have ever seen! And it's very sweet to send a bottle of milk to make coffee! ! We lived in two of us and booked an apartment. As a result, we have two beds for three people. It is a large and clean place and a kitchen for cooking. Each room is like a small single-family house. lovely! It's a pity that we only stayed for one night. If we have a chance in the future, we must stay here for a few more days. I really like it. The small town of Rotorua is really a clear stream in Auckland. Love this town very much! Love this hotel! ! !
The hotel used to be a private mansion with every detail. The hotel is facing Lake Rotorua, the room has a wide view, five minutes drive from the skyline and ten minutes from the downtown. The hotel has its own paddock, where horses and sheep graze leisurely on the slopes. Breakfast can be cooked to order, and the lamb in the kiwi breakfast is very good. It was very comfortable to take a walk in the courtyard after eating breakfast. The hotel staff was warm and considerate. Some regrets were that because of the self-service on the skyline, I didn't try the dinner at the hotel. I have a chance to try it next time. There is a study room on the second floor of the hotel. There is a 200-page world map on the table. It has been turned over and confirmed that there is no less in China.
Children are not allowed, only 16 years old and above can be accommodated! Suitable for honeymoon couples! In New Zealand, don't think about breaking the rules of soft grinding and hard foaming. It is a rule not to allow children under the age of 16 to stay!
This hotel has a good environment and good hygiene. The boss is Chinese, so he takes every detail into consideration. The Bannick salmon in the morning was delicious. It's a 5-minute drive from the town center. You can call a taxi for SGD 20. The only problem is that the room rates are quite high compared to other hotels in town. You can consider it if you are not short of money, and the experience is good.

Not a 4 star hotel at all - and terrible experience. We booked for 2 nights, beds were like rock, so much noise (from furniture moving overhead, children yelling and people playing pool in reception) that we couldn’t sleep. Went to reception after midnight, night staff not interested or sympathetic. Were awake till after 1am. Asked to see the mgr in the morning, not available. Explained to reception staff the experience we had and that we would like to check out a day early and get a refund on the second night as not possible to sleep. Reception very sympathetic and refunded 2nd night. Bank account shows it charged back again. Rung the mgr, no answer and no callback. Email reception and they apologize again and undertake to refund again. Manager then texts me and says it was not accidental that they recharged me, he said I shouldnt have had a refund. I said that his reception staff had agreed with no issues. His response: ‘No. Not agreed, and she even does not have the authority to do it. You threaten her on site. You have stayed and use excuse to request money back, which is not acceptable and not approved.’ I actually had apologized to the staff member for not being able to resolve with the manager and she was very sympathetic and helpful. As others have noted, insufficient parking and the door lock on the room beeped continuously when engaged so we had to put a table in front of the door for safety
