JJackyThe hotel is in a great location, with the Kamogawa River just outside the window, and a panoramic view of the cherry blossoms along the river. The Mizuki is especially delicious, and we were not satisfied even after two dinners in a row. The service and hygiene are impeccable, and except for the higher prices during the cherry blossom season, there is really no complaint.

The front desk and concierge staff were all incredibly enthusiastic and always attentive to whether we needed any assistance. It was a very satisfying stay. We stayed in Japan for 7 nights and switched between 3 hotels, and this was by far the most satisfying five-star hotel experience!

SsissikwokThe room is quite spacious, I could spread out all my luggage, and the bathroom has a three-part design (separate shower, toilet, and sink). The wardrobe placement is also very sensible, and the TV even supports screen mirroring. The location is excellent, with a large leisure area downstairs, making it super convenient for dining, shopping, and catching shows. The front desk staff's English is good; the young lady who took me up the elevator even chatted with me, which was very welcoming. Both the shower room and toilet cubicle are very roomy, and there's even a small stool for showering. The water pressure is strong, the water temperature is stable, and the toiletries are lovely and smell great. The only minor inconvenience was that if I missed the cleaning time, I had to inform the front desk for them to clean it later. I don't like very soft beds, and the bed here has a good firmness, plus there's a choice of soft and firm pillows. The air conditioning adjusts temperature quickly, is quiet, and doesn't blow directly onto the bed.

CcarazzzAnyone visiting Kyoto should be familiar with this hotel because it's located right in the heart of the shopping district, which is incredibly convenient. The location is excellent; you step right out to Takashimaya, and there's even a direct connection from the hotel's third floor! The hotel also boasts a cafe, a supermarket, and a gym... perfect for young travelers! The rooms are spacious, the bedding is comfortable, and the bathroom is also very roomy.

AAnonymous UserFor this price point, all I can say is it's an absolute steal! You can really trust big brands. I'm usually someone who goes from basic to luxurious when choosing hotels, and the day before arriving here, I picked a more budget-friendly option. But this 'budget' hotel was so good, I didn't want to leave! It felt small yet cozy. Plus, there's a bath, and coming back from a morning run to soak in the tub was just heavenly. They even have a bar on the ground floor! Every day before heading out, I'd grab a lollipop or ice cream to kick off my city walk. My family loved it. The location is a bit further out, so walking can be tiring on your feet. After a morning run, we relied on taxis for getting around during the day. I couldn't quite figure out the subway; it seemed like the JR pass wasn't valid. Next time I visit, I plan to stay for an extended period. There's really no need to spend thousands or tens of thousands to stay at those top-tier hotels. I haven't felt particularly pampered or that it was exceptionally good there. For instance, the Park Hyatt is so expensive, primarily for its location. Everything else was just so-so, and the restaurants were incredibly crowded with a strong greasy smell.

MMayuree MasayavanijSuch a good vibe hotel. Staff can speak English very well so we didn't have any communication problem. The concierge was kind enough to help recommending a tofu restaurant and made a booking for our group. We used their parking lot which was quite expensive since the hotel didn't offer free parking. Room was spacious, well designed and comfortable. The meditation room was an interesting experience though there was a delay for my booking. Their rooftop bar was also very nice. The drinks and snack were delicious. Wish I could stay longer to experience the hotel's tea ceremony and many interesting activities.

The room was spacious, well-lit, and impeccably clean, making for an excellent stay. Located in the heart of the city, it's right next to a subway station, and within walking distance of the Shijo shopping district and the dining streets along the Kamo River, offering unparalleled convenience for getting around, sightseeing, and shopping. It offers great value for money and comfort—highly recommended!

云云博This is a venerable super five-star hotel with an excellent location, though it's a bit out of the city center, making it quite inconvenient for getting to sights, attractions, and dining. However, the hotel shuttle bus to Kyoto Station is a lifesaver. The hotel was renovated a few years ago, but it still retains its 40+ years of history and luxurious decor, now blended with modern, clean design elements. Charging facilities and hygiene are excellent. I would definitely stay here again!
