"While I can’t say I fully enjoyed my stay at DoubleTree by Hilton, that may partly be because we had just come from a really lovely hotel in Aberdeen, so my expectations were quite high, particularly regarding the housekeeping standards, given the hotel’s reputation and heritage. Unfortunately, the cleaning service and general room upkeep felt somewhat lacking during our stay. That said, it was still a good stay overall. The reception staff were fantastic, very professional, welcoming, and helpful throughout our visit. The breakfast was decent as well, although we were unable to try many of the buffet options due to personal preferences and faith-based dietary restrictions. Overall, we enjoyed our time in Glasgow."

"I really couldn't fault this hotel for the price we paid. Every staff member we encountered were friendly, professional and very courteous. The food at breakfast was very good with a choice of pastries, cereals, fruit and a good selection of hot buffet including good quality bacon and sausages, scrambled egg, beans, potato scone, and mushrooms. Tea or coffee and toast is served to you at your table. The leisure facilities were a bonus with a good size pool, sauna and steam room. We didn't make use of the spa facilities but it looked like a very nice place to have a treatment. The room itself was very spacious, comfortable bed and pillows and an amazing shower. All in all we would definitely stay again and try other hotels in the Macdonald chain."

Lots of great reccomendations from the staff! I would say that unless you are up late the stay might not be the best for people who want to sleep early during weekends due to it being above a club, but they make this very clear on bookings and provide ear plugs. We will be back! :D"

Very useful for business - good Wi-Fi and set up facilities, with plenty of space eother in the room or the lounge area. Great connections with local restaurants too and provided great recommendations! After this visit I don’t think I’d stay anywhere else 😁"

"I know I booked the room but I had no idea it would be so big! It was super cozy. We played cards and slept through our alarm because the bed was so comfy. It's close to our favorite bar, NQ64, and lots of good restaurants and hop on busses. The staff were so lovely too! We were also super close to a weekend market and even through the rain we had a blast."

"The location is not too out of the way depending on what your trip is for! Ubers & Taxi’s are happy to collect from the hotel. The nearest Train station is around a ten minute walk from the hotel to take you into the city Centre. Our room was clean and we were provided with tea/coffee in the room. Unfortunately the bathroom had the strongest smell of sewage that filled the entire room. Could not sleep and ended up sick in the morning🤢 We did speak to reception who advised there were no alternative rooms and to complain in the morning. When we spoke to staff in the morning they advised management weren’t in and so they were unable to resolve the matter for us."
