Best Glasgow Hotels

"The room was a bit small, and the cleanliness was okay, but there were some marks on the sheets. They might have been clean marks, but it still bothered me a bit. I requested a room near the elevator, and it was literally right next to it, haha! The hotel is actually quite small, so everything is close by anyway. The service was excellent. My English isn't great, but the front desk lady and guy were both incredibly patient. The lady even used a translation app to tell me what she wanted to say. In the afternoon, I wanted to visit the museum, but my room wasn't ready yet. The lady proactively offered to store my luggage so I could go to the museum first and check in later. When I did check in, she also helped me with my luggage. Their attitude was very friendly throughout. The guy at the restaurant was also super friendly; he recommended the hot chocolate, which was indeed delicious and one of the few things I can praise about an English breakfast. He also noticed I was Chinese and proactively said ”Nihao” and ”Xie Xie,” which was very kind."

"As a solo traveler I got a bed in 8 mixed room, the price was affordable as i need a space just to sleep. The bathroom was clean, the room mates were respectful. The only problem was the common room( the hall ) it was closed most of the times, either for cleaning or for activity from 3rd party , which I accept that and I don’t mind it at all, but some people does. Overall I love it and I’ll do it again"

"The hotel itself was fine, nothing majorly wrong. The location wasn't super convenient, but not out of the way either. The cleanliness was standard, pretty much what you'd expect. It would have been better if the staff had brought things up to our room promptly after we requested them, instead of us having to go down a second time to remind them. Overall, no big issues. The duvet was quite thin though, so I'd recommend bringing warm pajamas if you're staying in winter."

"The hotel was lovely, I was a bit put off by the reception staff who spoke to me via computer screens. They never looked at me when asking questions I personally feel this is rude. However they were able to store bags for us until we could check in. The pool is lovely not overly big and there was lessons going on but for a quick dip it’s fine. The hot tub is tiny even with 3 adults in it we were touching knees so that felt a-bit awkward sharing with strangers. Gym was fantastic. Was very impressed  Room was lovely very spacious we had a twin room first time I slept in a single bed since a child so not overly comfortable. Bathroom clean and massive bath which was great, our room did not have a window that could be opened but a fan was placed in our room, it didn’t work but after notifying cleaning staff they quickly replaced it.  Breakfast was good just what you would expect. From a buffet breakfast and we were seated very quickly both mornings. There was water machines on our floor and reception which we used regularly and we appreciated that touch.  Over all it was a good and I would stay again. The red and yellow hop on hope off bus stop is just around the corner also so handy if wanting to sightsee."

"The hotel was perfect from the friendly reception staff on arrival to the breakfast the following morning. The room was immaculate, not new and sparkly, but tastefully decorated with quality well maintained equipment, fittings and furnishings. All the basics, bed, shower, toilet and basin worked and performed superbly. Bedding, covers, sheets and pillows were pristine, crisp, and the mattress was exceedingly comfortable. Plenty of hanging space, iron and board, hairdryer and fridge. Spotlessly clean. Service for breakfast was unusually efficient for a large hotel. They knew exactly how to cope with a busy breakfast service. Buffet for drinks and cold items, service for Cooked. The full scottish breakfast kept me going all day. Will definitely return to this hotel."

"Great night away with some friends.. had three rooms and the hotel were very accommodating and even let us check in early. All rooms on the same corridor so it was very handy and made for a better stay for us as we were celebrating a birthday .. would recommend this hotel as a great place to stay in Glasgow. Lovely bar, great afternoon tea and friendly staff."

"I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is excellent — close to many restaurants, shops, and local attractions, which made exploring the area so convenient. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed. Staff were friendly and always ready to help, making me feel truly welcome throughout my stay. Overall, a great experience. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area!"

"Parking out the back with a tunnel to walk through to reception. Pay for parking when checking out. Our twin room was comfortable, and perfectly adequate for one night. The location is actually great, right next to the sec , and plenty of options for getting into town. It's a big hotel, so lobby and bar were buzzing at all times."

"Revolver is in an excellent location in central Glasgow. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, it was a little too noisy to have a good nights sleep. The hotel tried to accommodate by providing earplugs but it was still very noisy from the clubs overnight and subsequent city cleanup in the early hours. The room’s lighting was very dim which made it hard to see well when getting ready for our night out."
